Really cheated on these Christmas cards! The Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium Papers were so beautiful I didn’t alter them in any way, just added the interest by doing lots of layering with an assortment of Stampin Up cardstock. To finish I added ribbon bows and glitter.Quick post tonight as its shopping night, then home to pack my craft bag for a class tomorrow – I am looking forward to it, til tomorrow….

Prima Tea thyme number 5
I can’t remember how many cards I have posted using this paper from prima -Tea Thyme, so we are calling this number 2 and I will check later ( just checked – this is number 5, so have changed things to correct)!I used the matching Prima flowers and hat pins that are also available with this range, and teamed it up with my Tim Holtz sizzix caged bird die. There is a memory box la Rue flourish there as well, and some kaisercraft pearls and seam binding. I made a matching box to put this one in, and it wouldn’t fit in an envelope! behind the cage is a tag pocket to slip a gift voucher in to. Today I am busy making male themed cards with a sea side theme as it’s that time of year here in Australia! Til tomorrow…
Card in a box
I made this card for my Boss’s birthday, and when it was made I realised it wasn’t going to fit into the envelope without ruining the whole effect of the flower, so I came up with this matching box, which was so successful it resulted in a rather large order, and more coming in all the time, so at the moment I am up to my eyes in cards in boxes!I will show a couple more over the next couple of days, but now the challenge is to make some male themed ones – that’s the next order I will be working on over the weekend. Anyway, for this one I used Bo Bunny enchanted patterned paper, and matching brads, and my sizzix tattered floral die with a prima leaf and sprays of pearls. Once you have the hang of these boxes, I have discoverd it is quite easy to change the size to match any size card, the only thing to remember is to keep the measurements within 12 x 12, otherwise you will run out of cardstock! quick fathers day card
Here is a really quick and easy Fathers day card. The paper used is from the Kaisercraft Sears & Sons collection, and I also used a couple of bits from the collectables pack that goes with this range. The paper does all the work for you – terrific for a quick card! Quick post tonight as I have to go grocery shopping – til tomorrow…..
Boys 21st card
Todays card is an order I made for a 21st card. The papers used are Bo Bunny weekend market ( I love the rich colours of these papers) and I added a few bits and pieces – a Kaisercraft these days collectables Key, some craftworks candii ( my new favourite embellishment, especially for male themed cards – one packet goes a long way) ,and a Stampin Up vintage brad and bakers twine.I had a lovely morning over at Paper Flourish setting up my september class, which is all about Christmas, and buying lots ( probably too much ) of new bits and pieces to experiment with. I intend to find a fair bit of spare time this weekend to play with it all! Til tomorrow….
Final card ( for now) using non – xmas stash
This is the final card for now made using non christmas stash. The cardstock used is Stampin Up cherry cobbler, which I embossed with Stampin Up vintage wallpaper embossing folder, and then inked over the raised bits with choc chip ink. I stamped some music notes ( kaisercraft stamp) in choc chip, and matted that onto Stampin Up handsome hunter cardstock which I had punched with my e.k. success border edger – sorry, can’t remember the name of that one ,but someone might be able to help with that -and finally I die cut a flower using a Dienamics upsey daisies die. I stamped a greeting and cut it into a small tag and attached. these little greeting tags are a new fad of mine, and I have been creating them for a lot of my recent makes, so you will see them – a lot! Finally today I want to welcome all my recent subscribers – so glad to have you all, and always feel free to leave a comment , a question or even a request for something you might like to see. For now, I had better go and cook tea – the natives are getting restless! Til tomorrow….
