The third and Final Village card was one made with almost all Stampin Up supplies. The Stamp set is Star of light and I also used the matching die set. I stamped little stamps in blue sky ink before running the layer through a stampin up embossing folder. This one is a very simple card with very little embellishment. I have managed to make a few cards over the last couple of days, pacing myself and staying right away from the die cutting machine!Thank goodness for Kaisercraft ooh La La paper collection – no need for dies with this collection! Til tomorrow….
The paper i used here, and for the next few posts is from Prima, Anna Marie range. it has gloriously bright colours, and I made good use of the matching tags. For this card I fussy cut a piece of the 12 x 12 paper that is covered in flowers, did a couple of layers of that, and added a ribbon bow , stamped my tag and used a little liquid pearls to finish.thank you all for get well wishes, still not 100%, but had a great morning with my ladies which cheered me up no end! til tomorrow….
i am loving the bright colours of this paper _ kaisercraft Tea Party. Here I used the 6″ pad for the bottom layer on stampin up cardstock for the card base. The cupcake is from the collectables pack, and I added another strip of paper down the side with some lace. I added some kindyglitz to the cupcake for some bling. I am busy today making some card for an order, a few more to do, then plan out my december lessons! til tomorrow…..
We are revisiting Prima Tea Thyme paper collection, made using the 6″ pad. I have matted the paper onto black cardstock, and added some prima flowers and a bling swirl. the sentiment is stamped with a stampin up stamp.Very quick and easy card!I have made great inroads into my mens cards today, and can now pack up the browns, greys and blues and break out some lilacs, pinks, and pastels tonight. I am going to go back to some previously underused papers, and clear a little room in the craft room, to make room for all the lovely papers coming through from CHA….Til tomorrow….
This is an early post today – I missed yesterdays as we had problems with our internet – it’s amazing how that brings most of the household to a grinding halt ! Todays card uses Kaisercraft Secret Admirer 6″ pad and matching collectables- this collection was a little different – kaisercraft brought out 2 different collectables packs, one of which was mainly die cut doilies, and its this pack that I used here. I tucked one behind a panel from a piece of 12 x 12 paper, and used the other as abase for my group of martha stewart punched frond leaves, flowers and ribbon, and slid a Prima hat pin behind. This third card is made with Kaisercraft tropicana 12 x 12 ” papers. I matted each image onto Stampin Up early espresso cardstock, and the card base was made with Stampin Up so saffron.I have had a busy week this week, what with work and my card classes, and in between I have been trying to sort out all my ribbons, buttons, flowers etc into see through containers to make them easier to find. I will continue that tonight, then I should be all organised for the week end! Til tomorrow….
Here is the first card in my Kaisercraft Tropicana series, very appropriate considering the hot weather we are experiencing here just now! On this first card I have used the 6″ pad and matching collectables, as well as some Stampin Up early espresso cardstock and Kaisercraft Sparklets. I think this would make a good retirement card! Today I taught a class with my lovely ladies using Kaisercraft Pickled Pear papers, so thought it would be an idea to show a couple of other cards I have made using this paper collection over the next couple of days. I also used the matching collectables, and a prims canvas bird, which I coloured with a sponge a nd distress inks. The lovely branchy bits is made by stamping a kaisercraft pickled pear stamp onto acetate and cutting out. I will definitely be found in the craft room tonight, so looking forward to it! til tomorrow….
two cards today, a simple one on the left, and for the one on the right I die cut my label, cut it in half and placed the pieces on the top and bottom of my card. The images are from Kaisercraft Timeless collectables, and the paper is Prima Craftsman.Very hot day here in Adelaide, so won’t be visiting the craft room tonight – a night under the air conditioner is on the cards! Til tomorrow…
I recently bought some male themed cards, and because of the ammount of Christmas cards i have had to make I really haven’t had time to experiment with them, but I did stamp each image to see how they turned out, so over the next couple of days you will see the rough workings! Todays stamp is a huge image – it takes up the whole card! the stamp is Stampers anonymous tim Holtz collection train. It stamps beautifully – lovely and crisp. I lightly coloured this one just with watercolour pencil, and die cut some corners using spellbinders lace doily accents dies. the ticket stamp is by Prima, and I distressed the edges, and added some bakers twine and string for texture.I stamped the image with stazon timber brown.Today is the end of the working week for me, so I am looking forward to 2 days off, and hopefully some time to create!
