Uniquely Creative Wise and Free

_MG_1248 (Medium)_MG_1249 (Medium)_MG_1250_MG_1254 (Medium)Today I have 4 cards that I made with Uniquely Creative Wise and Free papers. This is an Australian company ( although they do have some stockists in America) and it is close to my heart as friends of mine own it, and their designs are  my favourite style. On these cards I have added some die cutting and flowers,a scrap of ribbon but thats all. It’s been bitterly cold here, and we finally gave in and installed a couple of heaters. It is toasty warm in the house now and everyone is happy! restrictions have eased a bit but we are still socially distancing and only go out for necessities as I have elderly parents and want to keep them safe. Til next time, Stay safe,

Kaisercraft Sunkissed 4, 5 and 6…

_MG_1279 (Medium)_MG_1282 (Medium)_MG_1283 (Medium) Three more cards made with kaisercraft Sunkissed paper collection. I haven’t added anything else to these cards, the papers are all that is needed, and they are certainly bright and cheerful…just what we need this week, with all that is going on around us, and the weather here so very cold! Please stay safe, til next time….

Kaisercraft Sunkissed 1, 2 and 3..

_MG_1284 (Large)_MG_1277 (Large)_MG_1278 (Large)This weeks cards are made using kaisercraft Sunkissed..I thought after a week of rain and cold weather we could use a little brightness! We never complain about the rain though! All of these cards only use the 6″ pad and the matching collectables. I may have done a little fussy cutting, but nothing else has been added to these ones. My craft desk today is covered with ribbon, lace and flowers and I am working with some new Prima paper, so I am back in my comfort zone!Til next time, stay safe…..

Prima Apricot Honey..

_MG_1241 (Medium)_MG_1261 (Medium)This weeks cards are two I thoroughly enjoyed making! All sorts on these Prima Apricot Honey  paper collection cards. I embossed cardstock ( a technique we don’t see enough of these days..it’s an easy way to add texture to your card) , lace,  flowers, handmade resin frames, lace, and assorted die cuts. I have been busy this week putting card orders together and posting around the country.. Always exciting when an order comes through! It has been very cold and wet here ( we never complain about the rain!) so it’s been perfect for cardmaking and I have spent many happy hours at the craft desk. I have been practising my stamping.. next time I will show you some of those cards.. til next time , stay safe…

BoBunny Butterfly Kisses

_MG_1163 (Medium)_MG_1200 (Medium)_MG_1202 (Medium)_MG_1203 (Medium)Another group of cards I made while I was supposed to be cleaning up the craft room… What can I say, I am easily distracted. After I made the first card ( and these were quick cards…no hunting around for bits of lace and ribbon..everything was found where I was sitting..) I decide that this paper lent itself perfectly to the double zigzag shaped card, so the remaining three were done in that style. I have since filmed a youtube clip showing you how easy this card is to create. You should be able to find the link over there on the right…maybe click on the three little dots… Nathan has been playing with my site so you may notice a couple of upgrades! Til next time, stay safe…..

Uniquely Creative Winter Rose 1 and 2….

IMG_2188IMG_2190This weekend i received my new Uniquely Creative Winter Rose collection in the mail, so everything was put on hold while I fussycut elements, gathered matching cardstock and flowers and started to create! These are the very first two cards I made, using papers, creative cuts, and on the happy birthday card a glitter die cut using Uniquely Creative Flourish die, and a clear dome in the flower centre. The second card is all ready for dads fathers day card.. being scottish he will love the stag! I am off now to make more with this stunning paper collection! Til next time, stay safe…

A Scrap of Kaisercraft..

_MG_1170 (Medium)_MG_1172 (Medium)During the great paper clean up I found just a scrap of a collection. It’s by Kaisercraft but I can’t remember the name of the collection, but I stopped my cleaning and made two quick cards just because I couldn’t bring myself to throw away the scraps. Lots of layers and a bit of fussy cutting, a handmade frame on the lower card and some perfect pearl drops on the top card. I hope you are all coping with isolation, I have had a cold this week so haven’t done very much. I’m feeling a bit better today, so I am heading into the kitchen to make a big pot of soup. Our local greengrocer is doing home deliveries and it’s the highlight of our week to get lovely fresh fruit and vegetables delivered to our door! Til next time, stay safe…..

Last of the Kaisercraft Ladylike…for now…

_MG_1189 (Medium)_MG_1191 (Medium)These are the last two kaisercraft Ladylike cards I have made. I have a little paper left which will be used in the fullness of time but I have used all the matching collectables etc.. The top card makes used of some fussy cut elements and I die cut an oval from an old book. It’s time for make do and craft…nothing is safe when I can’t spend money on craft stuff as we don’t know what is still ahead of us! There is a pretty metal butterfly added to that one, while the bottom card is the last of the collectables from the Ladylike collection, and I added some flowers and a foil die cut leaf. I have done a lot of crafting this week and I am so glad to have this hobby that allows me to retreat into a very special crafting space. Stay safe, til next time,

More Kaisercraft ladylike…

_MG_1182 (Medium)_MG_1188 (Medium)I made a few cards for my craft fair boxes, as that will be here before we know it and I need to focus! The 21st card features the kaisercraft ladylike patterned paper from the 6″ pad, and some gorgeous flowers, soft lace,a metal on top of the key, and numbers die cut from a Uniquely creative die. The second card is all paper, a little die cutting of the leaves and a bird punched from a stampin up bird punch. Again the paper is from the 6″ pad. Finally the spring cleaning of the craft room is done, just some moving of furniture to happen, but my two muscle men have gone for a week to Sydney to visit their son/brother so that will have to wait…Meanwhile the week stretches before me without them, but lots of crafting! Til next time….

Mens Cards..

_MG_1175 (Medium)_MG_1176 (Medium)_MG_1178 (Medium)There comes a time in every cardmakers calender when they have to do mens cards and mine was this week when it was time to book my June craft fair spot. Mens cards are always last on the list! This year I had some new dies to use so made it a lot easier, and I had my very old stamps which are dug out every year, stamped and coloured and teamed up with newer purchases to refresh the look. I kept the general layout very plain cos blokes really don’t like fussy! Next Saturday I have our first crafty girls gathering of the year so I have been very busy organising that and I am so looking forward to catching up with all the girls. Til next time….
