These three cards were made with lots of bits and pieces left on my desk after other projects. The top card has a bauble die, embossed background, my Merry Christmas die, and ribbon. The second card is a favourite design of mine – all white, a little embossing, and minimal stamping. The third card has some washi tape, music paper, one layer of a poinsettia die with a holly leaf on top and again the merry christmas die. All of these cards are perfect if you are making quite a few cards the same. Today my job in the craft room is to prepare the inserts for all my Christmas cards… a job I always seem to leave til last! Til next time….

Prima Christmas in the Country part 2…

Here are the other three cards I made with Prima Christmas in the Country. I made these ( and the previous three cards) as a pack for my ladies, so there are six different papers out of the A4 paper pad, a few Prima holly branches ( gorgeous), a couple of metals and some cardstock. They are very simple to put together and I love the vintage feel! This week i have had a break from crafting as I did painting of a different nature and painted nathans bedroom. I am clearly a very messy painter as I am still trying to remove the splatters from my arms, legs and even toes!! Today I am looking forward to resuming my usual seat at my craft desk! til next time….
Prima Christmas in the Country..

We are deep into Christmas card making now and these are cards I made with my second Christmas paper purchase..Prima Christmas in the country. I just used the A4 pad, and did some fussy cutting. With the addition of a holly die, some Prima holly leaves, lace, metals and some matting these cards came together easily. I have moved away from papers now and have started doing some die cutting and embossing to make full use of all my Christmas dies – those ones will be up after next week when we finish with the Prima! Til next time….
More Stamperia Pink Christmas…

Stamperia Pink Christmas continued today and this paper lends itself to as much or as little bits and pieces that you want to use. The top card is a gatefold design, so the inside has a bit of decoration as well. I have die cut some circles a little bigger than the paper images for matting . The third card has no extra bits, just the gorgeous paper and on the others I have used all sorts of bits and pieces that were hanging around on my craft table! This week has been wet and windy here so lots of time spent at the craft table..I have taken out all my christmas papers from years gone by and I am determined this year to use some of that instead of all new papers! We will see how that goes…. til next time…
Stampin Up Santa’s Workshop..

Here are the first Christmas cards for this year! I have used a Stampin Up designer paper collection from last year called Santa’s Workshop, I love it because of the fussy cutting potential. I haven’t bought too much Christmas collections yet this year – I am determined to use up the papers I have ( I think I say that every year!), but I have been working with Prima Christmas in the Country and some gorgeous vintage Stamperia papers this week. The top card has a die cut glittery Christmas tree, and the top and lower card have a layer of embossed white cardstock but other than that its all paper and cardstock.- no ribbon , lace or bling to be seen! Kaisercraft greenhouse 4,5 and 6…

The other three cards I made with Kaisercraft Greenhouse paper collection and matching collectables. I have lots of this paper left, but had to put it away to concentrate on my Cruise cards which are coming along nicely – all the designs are done and it’s just a matter of making up all the packs.Meanwhile back to this weeks cards…I liked this paper collection because it didn’t need anything more added to it, although the first card does have a die cut succulent from Uniquely creative succulent dies set, and the second card has a few silver rhinestones. I have also been making Christmas cards this week with Prima Christmas in the Country paper collection – a gorgeous vintage range! Til next time …..
Kaisercraft greenhouse 1, 2 and 3..

Three cards today, all made with Kaisercraft greenhouse 6″ paper pad and matching collectables. Nothing else was added to these ones except a tiny bit of bling on the top card, and a gorgeous die cut ( made with Uniquely creative Succulents die) on the middle card. Of course I loved all the fussy cutting potential of these papers!. As my thoughts turn to Christmas cards I am getting itchy fingers to dig out all my xmas dies and stamps, but I am still working on my cruise cards. I have about three weeks of prep to do for them and then look out Christmas here I come!!Til next time…..
Graphic 45 Lost in Paradise

I couldn’t resist the Lost in paradise collection by graphic 45…Flowers, birds and butterflies..Love it! Here are the first two cards I made with it once I had done a lot of fussy cutting. No fussy cutting on these ones though! I folded a double zig zag card and only used the papers – no bling , ribbon or lace needed on these ones. So quick and simple! this week has been all about cruise class prep as the next few weeks will be until the 5 classes are all sorted. two prepared ..three to go! Til next week…
Graphic 45 Flutter.
I couldn’t resist making and exploding card when I saw the range of Graphic 45 Flutter..Butterflies everywhere! I have a you tube video on my you tube channel that shows step by step how to make this exploding box which folds down to fit into a normal sized envelope. The link is over there on the right of your screen! I have been crafting a lot this week but its all for the cruise I am teaching on in December. I haven’t had much notice really, and have to prepare 5 classes, but I am so excited to be going on the Vasco Da Gama, and being December this time I can do some Christmas cards! I have lots of other things coming up too, but more of that later! Til Next time,….
Stampin Up Bird Ballad..
Last weekend was my sister Kays’ birthday, and I made her this card using Stampin Up Bird Ballad papers , and the associated stamp set, for two reasons…she is a keen photographer of birds, and she is a Stampin up demonstrator and the person I get all my Stampin Up supplies from. I stamped the birds, and coloured them with Copic Markers, and fussy cut some flowers from the designer papers from the Bird Ballad collection. The background paper is also from the same collection. I love this set, and have prepared a lesson for my ladies using it.The time this year is flying by, and my thoughts have now turned to Christmas cards..can’t wait to start creating some cards using new releases..first will be Prima I think.. will keep you posted!
