I took the idea from yesterdays card and stepped it up a bit on this one – still using the Daydream medallions stamp set I stamped a couple of medallions in shades of green, and fussy cut them out, layering the on top of each other, The image on the top of the stampin up craumbcake cardstock is from my stampin up Welcome christmas stamp set as is the greeting. Inks used were stampin up cherry cobbler, wild wasabi, certainly celery and crumbcake. The paper is Stampin up designer paper – Be of good cheer, and even the ribbon is stampin up!Not often I make a card that is all from one company!Til tomorrow….

Prima Zephyr number 3
Hello and welcome to my recent new subscribers. If there is ever anything you want to see more of, or need clearer instructions, or just want to say hi, please feel free to drop me a line!Today we are still on my Prima Zephyr patterned paper collection, also using the matching journalling notecards and chipboard. The rest of this paper still has not turned up in my craft room, but it is in there somewhere, so one day in the future I will stumble upon it and get to finish using it! On this card I also added a flower, ribbon, hat pin and the greeting was a stamp that was free on the front of a magazine – it seemed to fit so well!Today I have been in the craft room making baby boy cards – I had 3 sheets of paper, and so far I am up to card number 7 with them – I am going to run out of paper before I run out of ideas – next weekend I will get Nathan to photo them so I can show you all! Til tomorrow….
Prima Zephyr Collection
I feel in the mood for something bold and bright this afternoon, and this card fits the bill nicely! The paper, chipboard and Journalling notecard are all from the Prima Zephyr collection, and the sentiment and Pool Party seam binding are from stampin Up.The butterfly was die cut using Memory Box Moonlight and Kaliedascope butterfly dies, and I used a little bakers twine as well. I kept the canvas keys til last because these are something new I found and I love them. They are Prima resist canvas ( the pack these came from was the clocks, gears and keys pack). Its a pack chock full of die cut shapes, and when you colour them – I used a tim holtz ranger ink pad and a blending tool, there is a pattern that resists the ink. I bought the pack with the birds in it too, which I haven’t used yet, but may get the opportunity now that my week – end has started – Yay!So looking forward to getting into the craft room and playing wiht all my new paper purchases! Graphic 45 A ladies diary number 9
Still clearing my files, and here is another Graphic 45 A ladies Diary card. I used stampin Up Early espresso cardstock, and the stickers and chipboard that came with the ladies diary collection. I used up a scrap of lace under the chipboard, and The Brad is a stampin up vintage brad. I got my order from Kay today, so much new stuff to play with – I am beside myself! I have to clear a project on my desk, then it’s out with all the goodies..Til tomorrow….
Stamping fun
Hi, hope everyone is well. We will be jumping about a bit this next week, as I want to clear a few folders before we really start to get serious about Christmas ( and all my great new stuff that I am picking up on the weekend – great excitement!). this is a card I made a little while ago, and I have used a few different stamp companies to get this look! The cardstock is Stampin Up Wisteria Wonder, and Very Vanilla, and the ink used is tim holtz Milled lavender and Shabby shutters. I carefully used both pads on the flower stamp ( from stampin Up Bloomin with Beauty set) and once stamped coloured lightly with the same inks. The background stamp used for the back of the flower was Stampers Anonymous Bitty Grunge Background ( some great stamps in this set – I haven’t played with them enough). I made a mask of the flower, positioned it over the original stamped version and then stamped my background. When the mask is removed the flower appears to be in front of the background. Might have to do a video on that technique…..Anyway, the script stamp at the very back is Stamp It Butterfly script. It is the only script stamp I have so its very well inked. All background stamping is the same lavender ink as the flower.I had a great morning setting up my October class for Paper Flourish, and got a sneaky look at the Kaisercraft Papers for October, we are in for a treat! It was the first time I had been able to craft all week, as it’s been a very busy week, so I had those cards done in no time!I have spent the rest of the day in the card room doing a huge order and I will continue on after tea. Summer smooches number 2
Very quick post tonight as it’s shopping night! The paper here is Stampin Up summer Smooches, and I also used the matching summer smooches fabric to die cut the flowers with my stampin up party blossoms die. The fabric was also used for the flower stems. I cut a tag and used stampin Up petite pairs stamp for the tag.Til tomorrow….
Daydream Medallions
When I went to Canberra with Kay one of the stamp sets we received was Daydream Medallions. When I saw it, I didn’t think it would be one that I would use. A very good friend used it and I was hooked! This is my first card using it, but I have since made many more and alot of them are christmas themed, so they will be up here at some stage. For this one though, I used early espresso cardstock, as the base and Very Vanilla. The base card is stamped with a little flower stamp from the Bliss set, as is the butterfly, sadly not available any more.I stamped the daydream dedallions in early espresso and soft suede ink, and fussy cut around both, and layered them on top of each other. I then stamped another stamp of the set in the centre.Another stamp set we received was Memorable Moments, and it is great – a couple of sentiment stamps, but more importantly numbers! I am now making lots of age themed cards. I don’t have to rely on stickers any more! I stuck some kaisercraft pearls around the medallion and that part was finished. I then ran some Very Vanilla cardstock through my cuttlebug using the Stampin Up vintage wallpaper folder, which I had inked over with early esprsso ink – on reflection next time I would use the lighter ink. A bit of lace trim and done! I went up to Paper Flourish today and stocked up on all the new kaisercraft christmas paper, and tonight I will be preparing some lessons for October using some of it – lovely vintage style paper it is too, just my thing!I also bought some new spellbinder dies, so can’t wait to have a play with them as well. The Open Sea fathers day
Found this one while browsing through my files – also found some different ideas, which I will show over the next few days- The paper used here is stampin Up designer paper, for the background, and the panel that I have wrapped the bakers twine around is kaisercraft from the Mismatched range. The Boat is a stamp from Stampin Up – The open sea set,and I stamped it in Choc chip ink, and then used an oval spellbinder to cut the shape out. Quick post tonight, as it’s shopping night – no crafting tonight! Til tomorrow….
Prima songbird number 7 with cuttlebug
I made good use of my cuttlebug on this card, using the few papers I had of the Prima Songbird collection. I die cut some circles and layered them up, and used my spellbinders labels 17 die to add interest to another layer. I inked all my edges with tim holtz antique linen distress ink, and added lace, seam binding ( dyed with stampin up baja breeze ink) and a prima flower.I also rounded the corners of my card. The sentiment is a stamp from my stampin up field flowers set.I am suffering from a cold today, so I think it will just be a night in front of the heater with some lemon and honey!
