A little while ago when I was having a bit of a clean up, a few scraps on my desk ( with a little die cutting) were turned into cards. I quite like these ones, and they may be turned into a village ladies class in the near future, when we are finished our Christmas cards. Speaking of…I received my new Uniquely Creative Once upon a Christmas paper pack this week and am enjoying all the fussycutting!Oh, and you can now follow me in instagram at helengreco30! Thats been my week, hope you are all staying safe, til next time….
This week I have continued on with my Uniquely Creative Steampunk safari paper collection, but used the gorgeous floral elements in pretty autumn colours.I made some flowers using book paper and Glassine to add and found some metal butterflies to add as well.I love the numbers die from Uniquely Creative which I die cut in rose gold cardstock. Sequins, and a touch of liquitex iridescent medium and they were finished. It has been a cold wet week here so lots of crafting has been done, and I have been trying out some new ideas getting the most out of my ink pads. I will be putting those up on my instagram helengreco30 this week. Til next time, stay safe…
This week something different for me..The new paper collection from Uniquely Creative is called Steampunk Safari, and although I like the look of steampunk my cardmaking style is really too neat for it but I gave it a go! The clue I think is lots of cogs! The numbers die from Uniquely Creative is also brilliant and I will be using it lots. Next week I will have more cards made from this range to show you but they will be back to my comfort zone! In the meantime, stay safe …til next time…
This week I have three different cards using the same stacking scalloped rectangle die and a few fussy cut images from the Mintay Floral fussycutting book. Just by changing the colours and the sentiments I got my moneys worth from both the die and Mintay book. I have used this die so many times…I love it! Stay safe..Til next time..
Four cards this week, made with kaisercraft Nature Breeze. pretty papers with gorgeous birdlife! Some fussy cutting, but not a piece of ribbon or lace to be seen! I have spent more time outside this week..the sun has been out in the afternoons, and it’s been lovely outside weather. I hope you are all staying safe, til next time….
I have used about half of this collection, so it will be brought out again! I have loved working with the cute little Aussie animals and birds and the papers haven’t needed much more additional embellishment. On these three cards I have only added extra flowers ( to one card) and some glittery die cutting. I keep saying I am going to start Christmas cards and then get distracted. At the moment I am busy putting together some cardmaking kits for my retirement village ladies. I can’t visit to teach them but they can do my kits easily enough. Where would we be without our hobbies ? In the meantime , stay safe, til next time….
This weeks cards are so fresh the glue is not dry yet. I have been making these ones today… My friend Lydell did it again and came up with a gorgeous collection for Uniquely Creative called Gums and Roses. Yes, there are gums ( leaves) and roses but there is also the cutest little Aussie animals. I have added some die cutting, ribbon, bling and flowers, and enjoyed lots of fussycutting! I am off now to continue creating… til next time , stay safe…
This week is the last of the cards I made with uniquely Creative Wise and Free papers, and matching creative Cuts. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with this paper, and have used almost every scrap of it!I have added just a little lace, ribbon, die cuts and flowers. this week saw me out in the shed dragging in my Christmas papers, dies and stamps, and I am fully immersed in Christmas cards! I am determined to use up the papers I have, lets see how that goes! til next week, stay safe…
