Card and matching box..

img_0718-mediumWhile my shoulder was not good ( great day today as my Doctor has cleared me and I am back to normal!)to pass the time I made some flower bunches, and used them on cards only to realise after that they wouldn’t fit into envelopes so I made matching boxes for them. This one has a lovely wide piece of lace on it, the background paper is from kaisercraft PS I love you,and the die is Paper Roses Ornate circle. Just a quick one today, til tomorrow….

More die cuts on cards…

img_6791img_6792Todays cards are put aside for an order, I like they way they came out and will more than likely design a class around these dies. The dies are by Paper Rose, and they are: leaf scrolls, vases and stems, flower set one,and the embossing folder is a kaisercraft one. I also like this embossing folder – it fits my size card ( 15 x 21 cm folded) perfectly. I also embossed the vases. A terrific way to use up scraps of cardstock.Well, today roast is in the oven ( bit of a poor choice really as its so humid here today) washing is sorted, everyone is happy so i am off to the craft room! Til tomorrow….

An order with new dies!

img_6787Before we move on to a new series I thought I would post a card I made for an order this week because I made it using some new dies I picked up from Paper Flourish. The white leafy flourishes and pretty  flowers are dies by Paper Roses, the white flower is a memory box die and the butterfly ( an older die of mine) is kaisercraft. The embossing folder I used on the background is also kaisercraft. Just some pearls and this was a great card for using up scraps of cardstock, and I love those flowers. I left them flat on this card but you could curl the petals too for a different look. I am off to the craft room now as I have a few more cards to do for orders. Til tomorrow….

Prima Rossibelle number 4..

img_0714-mediumTodays card uses bits and pieces from the Prima Rossibelle collectables and matching flower. No paper on this one, so a clean and simple design.I added some copper sequins and a punched leaf( from copper glitter paper) and a bow. I love the little locket heart and nearly kept it for myself! I think that might have been the last card in this series for now, a new group starts tomorrow! til tomorrow….

Prima Rossibelle number 3..

img_0713-mediumOh, Dear I threw everything at this one didn’t I? There is die cutting ( All Paper Rose dies – tags, ornate circle and leafy flourish ) Punching ( tim holtz butterfly and Martha stewart hyacinth) fussy cutting, and flowers ( prima), lace and sequins! The tags were die cut from some prima vintage paper. The next card in the queue is the exact opposite of this one..maybe I used everything up on one card?I had a lovely lesson with the village ladies yesterday, today I popping over to Paper Flourish to drop off my march lessons and have a look at the new Paper Rose dies. Til tomorrow….

Prima Rossibelle number 1..

img_0711-mediumA new series today, this one is Prima Rossibelle papers, and I bought the matching chipboard and flowers as well. For this first card I cut the paper so that the birdcage was positioned on the left hand side of the card, fussy cut some paper with the lacy border, tucked lace behind , and added a prima flower, ribbon, little punched flowers and a punched tim holtz butterfly. I went searching through my bits and pieces to find anything copper related because I thought copper would be a good fit with this paper and found some copper sequins, pearls, glitter paper and even copper sticker sentiments so they all found their way onto the card! The die I used for the leafy flourish is called just that and is by Paper Rose.Til tomorrow….

Peek a boo baby girl..

img_0705-mediumimg_0706-medium Two cards today because I have been missing on the blog this week, had a few Dr’s appointments to sort out my knee which has been playing up. Turns out it’s arthritis, so I will just have to get used to it,I am just so relieved it isn’t a cartlidge problem again!Todays cards are made using Kaisercraft Peek a boo in the girls colours. I also used the Kaisecraft dies for the pram and the word baby.I used  a matching collectable to pop into the pram on the top card, and for the bottom card I punched a circle and added googly eyes to represent a baby peeking out of the pram ( I like this one – the fun nature of it). Went to town with the lace , ribbon and buttons! Day off today so i am off to the craft room to sit and relax for a couple of hours at least, til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Peek – a – boo, the pink ones!

img_0704-mediumStill with kaisercraft Peek-a-boo, but the pink version. Girl baby card today, and here I have used the 6″ pad ( which is a mix of pink and blue papers) for the background layer, and some matching collectables. The “Baby” was die cut with Kaisecraft die and inked around with tea dye ink to make it stand out a little from the pinkness of the papers. ribbon and delicate lace to finish! Housework is done, roast is in the oven so now it’s time to craft! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Peek-a boo 3..

img_0703-mediumFor my last Baby boy Kaisercraft Peek- a- boo card I have made a gatefold card, decorated with 12 x 12 papers and matching collectables.I added some vintage ric rac and a button for a little texture, and this was a very simple card to put together. Next time we will start on the pink cards! I haven’t had much time in the craft room lately what with the shoulder injury and what little cardmaking I have managed to do has been setting up the Cruise cards ( nearly done and just as well as its just a matter of weeks now!) and lesson set ups. Tomorrow I finish this months village lesson and hopefully have an hour or to to experiment with new things! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Peek a Boo.

img_0700-mediumimg_0701-mediumThe Kaisercraft Peek a Boo paper collection comes in two parts, you can purchase pink or blue, great idea, but I had to have both! I have made a few cards from both colourways and we will start with the blue. For the top card I used 2 pieces from the 6 ” pad and punched a border on one of the pieces. The tag is from the pack of collectables, and I used Kaisercraft die to die cut the pram. The chipboard piece is also from a kaisercraft pack.Butons ,ric rac and a ribbon bow to finish that one. The second card also has two pieces of patterned paper to cover the base card ( from the 12 x 12 papers) and I fussy cut the pram from another piece of the 12 x 12 paper. I fussy cut the word baby from a 12 x 12 paper and die cut Boy using a kaisercraft die. Again a chipboard piece, ribbon bow and buttons to finish. I am off to teach a class this morning, looking forward to seeing my ladies as I had to miss my december class due to the whole shoulder injury thing which is improving now but still not 100% yet! Til tomorrow….
