Bits and pieces on my desk…

_MG_1265 (Medium)_MG_1268 (Medium)A little while ago when I was having a bit of a clean up, a few scraps on my desk ( with a little die cutting) were turned into cards. I quite like these ones, and they may be turned into a village ladies class in the near future, when we are finished our Christmas cards. Speaking of…I received my new Uniquely Creative Once upon a Christmas paper pack this week and am enjoying all the fussycutting!Oh, and you can now follow me in instagram at helengreco30!  Thats been my week, hope you are all staying safe, til next time….

Uniquely Creative Steampunk Safari..part 2..

IMG_2391IMG_2396IMG_2398IMG_2400IMG_2403This week I have continued on with my Uniquely Creative Steampunk safari paper collection, but used the gorgeous floral elements in pretty autumn colours.I made some flowers using book paper and Glassine to add and found some metal butterflies to add as well.I love the numbers die from Uniquely Creative which I die cut in rose gold cardstock. Sequins, and a touch of  liquitex iridescent medium and they were finished. It has been a cold wet week here so lots of crafting has been done, and I have been trying out some new ideas getting the most out of my ink pads. I will be putting those up on my instagram helengreco30 this week. Til next time, stay safe…

Uniquely Creative Steampunk Safari

IMG_2377IMG_2380IMG_2381IMG_2382This week something different for me..The new paper collection from Uniquely Creative is called Steampunk Safari, and although I like the look of steampunk my cardmaking style is really too neat for it but I gave it a go! The clue I think is lots of cogs! The numbers die from Uniquely Creative is also brilliant and I will be using it lots. Next week I will have more cards made from this range to show you but they will be back to my comfort zone! In the meantime, stay safe …til next time…

Uniquely Creative Gums and Roses..the final three..

IMG_2367IMG_2370IMG_2372I have used about half of this collection, so it will be brought out again! I have loved working with the cute little Aussie animals and birds and the papers haven’t needed much more additional embellishment. On these three cards I have only added extra flowers ( to one card) and some glittery die cutting. I keep saying I am going to start Christmas cards and then get distracted. At the moment I am busy putting together some cardmaking kits for my retirement village ladies. I can’t visit to teach them but they can do my kits easily enough. Where would we be without our hobbies ? In the meantime , stay safe, til next time….

More Uniquely Creative Gums and Roses…

IMG_2355IMG_2357IMG_2359IMG_2361IMG_2363This week I have made a few more cards with the Uniquely Creative Gums and Roses paper collection. I love our little Australian critters.. they are too cute! I haven’t added too much extra to these ones, the paper is so gorgeous on it’s own.. a little lace, ribbon and muslin ( frayed) and a couple of fabric flowers, and some lovely fussycutting! It has been a sunny week here so I have done a little gardening and sitting in the garden, but we are still not moving out of our comfort zone too much… til next time, stay safe….

Uniquely Creative Gums and Roses..

IMG_2347IMG_2349IMG_2351IMG_2352This weeks cards are so fresh the glue is not dry yet. I have been making these ones today… My friend Lydell did it again and came up with a gorgeous collection for Uniquely Creative called Gums and Roses. Yes, there are gums ( leaves) and roses but there is also the cutest little Aussie animals. I have added some die cutting, ribbon, bling and flowers, and enjoyed lots of fussycutting! I am off now to continue creating… til next time , stay safe…

Kaisercraft peppermint Kisses..

IMG_2328IMG_2330IMG_2333IMG_2334I have started Christmas cards! I have worked out a way to work my way through my stack of papers without losing interest! I just make a few cards from a collection and move on, so this week it is a kaisercraft collection from last year called Peppermint Kisses. I had the 6″ pad, collectables and a sheet of imagery (12 x 12) which I fussy cut. I didn’t add very much, just a ribbon, bit of lace and some glittery die cuts. It’s been very wet and windy here this week, perfect weather for staying inside next to the heater! i hope all is well in your world, til next time, stay safe…

last of the Uniquely Creative Wise and Free..

_MG_1242 (Medium)_MG_1244 (Medium)_MG_1245 (Medium)_MG_1246 (Medium)This week is the last of the cards I made with uniquely Creative Wise and Free papers, and matching creative Cuts. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with this paper, and have used almost every scrap of it!I have added just a little lace, ribbon, die cuts and flowers. this week saw me out in the shed dragging in my Christmas papers, dies and stamps, and I am fully immersed in Christmas cards! I am determined to use up the papers I have, lets see how that goes! til next week, stay safe…

Uniquely Creative Wise and Free..

_MG_1256 (Medium)_MG_1259 (Medium)_MG_1219_MG_1220Here are some more cards I made with Uniquely Creative Wise and Free paper collection and matching Creative cuts. I have added various die cuts that were on my desk waiting to be used, and ribbon, lace, just a few flowers ( on the lower card) and gorgeous little clear resin domes in the centre of some of the flowers. I often have die cuts on my desk waiting to be used because if I have scraps of paper that are too small for layering i will do some die cutting to use them up rather than throw them away, and it’s handy just to be able to grab them when I am in the middle of creating. It’s been another wet and windy week here, just lovely, and toasty warm inside now that we have our new heaters installed – its been perfect for crafting and I have a mountain of cards waiting for Nathan to photo..he can’t keep up! Til next time, stay safe….
