Victoria Gardens

Last night I sat down with my new papers spread all around me, and before I knew it I had created 9 cards. My mind was working on the next card before my fingers had completed the card I was working on! I found this collection (Echo Park Victoria Gardens) so easy to create with, and had to show you one tonight, even though we still have quite a few cards in the queue before it. Here I have also used my sizzix die – flower 3-d, a stampin up stamp, some leaves and a prima flower. No creating tonight as I have a large order from Kay ( stampin up demonstrator – sidebar) to unpack and play with1 Til tomorrow….

More flowers made from old books!

Once again having trouble blogging – not sure what the problem is, hopefully Nathan will get to the bottom of it soon! Tonights card uses Echo park off the record paper and sticker, nestabilities label eights, some lace, and a stampin up vintage brad. The flower is made by running the pages of an old book through my cuttlebug with a Stampin up  Blossom party die., I coloured the petals with various coloured ink pads and held them all together with a gorgeous vintage brad by stampin up. Tonight I am spending a little time tidying up my craft room, it looks like a tornado has gone through it – paper etc everywhere! Til tomorrow….

An easy one!

I made this card solely to try out my new Labels eight nestabilities. The cardstock was marina mist by Stampin up, and the gorgeous papers and rose sticker were from For the record by echo park. A busy day at work today, and I’m a bit tired so tonight no cards, I’ll find something on t.v. instead! Til tomorrow….

For the Record….

I made this card for my nephews birthday which was last month, so I’m a little behind in showing it, due to all those Mothers day cards. I used Echo Park –  For the record collection ( which I haven’t had near enough time to play with, but hopefully now I’ll be able to get to it) and Espresso Stampin up cardstock. I die cut the shapes into the backing paper and tied some twine through them. I’ve got 2 days off now, and really looking forward to resting and cardmaking for the next couple of days. Til tomorrow…..

Springtime take 2

This is the second group in my set of cards using just 4 sheets of Echo Park springtime papers. I used Stampin Up cardstock, kaisercraft bling, and the Woderful Mother stamp was from Stampin Up Well scripted, The butterflies were stamped and cut out using a stamp from stampin up Bliss ( a great set) and the Just for you stamp was from stamp it. I’m hoping to get into my craft room tonight after an absence of a couple of days – my fingers are getting itchy! Til tomorrow….

Echo Park Springtime

I recently bought 4 pieces of the new Echo Park springtime collection papers, and out of those 4 pieces of patterned paper I made 13 cards! I have photographed them in groups of three, and over the next few days I will intersperse them in my blog. The papers were good , one sheet had  elements , rectangle shapes that I could stamp greetings on to, and another sheet had 4 different designs in 6″ sizes, so there was a lot of variety in colours and designs just in those 4 sheets. Today was market day, and a very busy day it was! I spoke to lots of fellow cardmakers and we swapped lots of ideas and information. A lot of ladies had already visited my blog so it was lovely to meet some of you. A question that I have been asked  frequently lately is where  fellow crafters can buy Stampin Up. Stampin Up is not available in shops, you buy it through demonstraters. My sister is a stampin Up demonstrater, and that is where I get all my stampin Up gear from! Kays blog can be reached by clicking on her name over there on the right of my site.If you email her through her blog she will organise posting you a catalogue.Anyway I have come home from the market with some empty boxes, so that gives me something to do for the next month! Til t6omorrow…..
