Yesterday I taught a class over at the retirement village, and we focused on finding different ways to use Spellbinders nested Tea cups dies. Here is the first card, using the dies as they were meant to be used – Tea cups! The cardstock is stampin Up Pink Pirouette, as is the ribbon, and the paper is also stampin up but sadly it is retired.I also used an EK success border punch.Good news – my comment button is fixed! see post below for instructions if you have difficulty, but it is straight forward now I believe.I will be in the craft room tonight planning out some lessons for April, then hopefully a bit of time to play with the new graphic 45 Secret Garden papers, which I can’t wait to cut into! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft periwinkle 2
Here is the only other card I have had time to make using Kaisercraft Periwinkle paper. I punched a border with E.K. Success fan border punch, which I have been using a lot lately, and the bird is a stamp from Oxford Impressions Nature set. I can’t tell you where the leaf stamps are from – I have looked in my room – it’s a disaster area in there at the moment, and I can’t lay my hands on the stamp set used, but I do know I stamped them on white and coloured them with distress inks and a sponge dauber. I have had a lovely day with my Mum, visiting the craft shops, and looking at all the new releases, ahh, so much product, not enough crafting time! Til tomorrow….
All is Bright 5 and 6
My Minds Eye All is Bright , cards 5 and 6. Here, the cardstock is Stampin Up Crumbcake, cherry cobbler, and Baja breeze. I used the papers, chipboard, and stickers on these two cards, and also used my Spellbinders 2012 snowflake penant die, and seam binding, bakers twine and an Ek success border punch.Tonight I plan to spend a little time in the craft room , I am working on a design, which is coming along nicely.. Til tomorrow….
Something girly and feminine for a change!
I have posted something similar to this in the past, but I was in need of bling and colour today, and this was a very recent make, so here it is! All supplies here except the flower, lace and ek success punch are from stampin up. The cardstock is Pool party, the gorgeous paper ( so lovely I had to buy more) is Attic Boutique, and I fussy cut the bodice from one of the sheets. I created the dress with very wide lace from Spotlight, and added 2 strip of narrower lace across the top of the bodice. The ribbons are stampin up pool party and cherry cobbler.I created a tag abd stamped the greeting from my Stampin up petite pairs set. These stamps are great for little tag greetings. It is very cold here in adelaide today, but I have put on the heater in the craft room, and intend to unwind in there for a couple of hours this evening! Til tomorrow…..
