This is a different card for fathers day, but I love this stamp set from Oxford Impressions. I stamped it in stampin up chocolate chip, and mounted it on some patterned paper, the brand escapes me at the moment, and the cardstock is Stampin Up baja breeze. I have a couple of projects tonight, one is to finish off the 7 cards I made last night using my new supplies, and I am so pleased with how they came out I’m hoping Nathan can photo them tomorrow so that I can post them! The other project I am going to start tonight is a colour chart. I found an unused pinboard hanging around, and I am going to cut squares out of all my scraps of cardstock and pin them to the board and hang it in front of my craft table. I will then have at a glance all my available colours of cardstock, and I will even be able to move them around to see if the colours match, and maybe even come up with some outstading combinations! This could be a project that takes a little while, but as soon as I have completed it, I will post a photo! Til tomorrow…..

Hunt and Gather
Timeless..
The other day when I bought lots of good stuff at paper flourish I picked up a 6″ paper pad by Kaisercraft called Timless. There are a lot of great background papers in it, and this is one of them. The card images were also in the pad, and I found a dice brad in the bottom of one of my drawers. The label is a stampin up die . Still no crafting happening here yet but after tea I intend to start my personal xmas cards so that they are not left to the last minute! Lets see how that goes…. Til tomorrow….
More Fathers Day
I missed doing last nights blog, as it was shopping night, and what a wild wet and windy night it was! After braving the elements all I wanted to do was sit down with a cup of tea by the heater and thaw out! Tonight I am back to Kaisercrafts new collection – Hunter and Gatherer. All I added was a button and twine. The cardstock is stampin Up Early Espresso. The bird images are gorgeous on this paper. Til tomorrow….
Fathers Day cuttlebug card
Todays Fathers day card was made using my cuttlebug machine. I used the largest of my spellbinders labels eight dies to shape the card, and the next smallest to emboss with craft concepts universal folder – In Stitches. The trophy is a cuttlebug die – You’re a winner, and the No. 1 is cuttlebug typewriter letters dies. The dad is a different story…. Nathan bought me some stuff called laser transfer foil from a company called Crafty Computer Paper. It comes in all different colours, and comes per metre. Its not cheap, but you do get a lot to play with. You print whatever you like through your computer ( in my case – dad) and then cover the print with the special paper, and run it through the laminater. One thing we found – it does like a very hot laminater. The effect is glittery- shiny! The green I have will be great on christmas cards.I have a Village lesson tonight so I’m off to get organised! Til tomorrow…..
