Say Aloha 6 and 7 with deep red stamps

IMG_7737 (Medium)IMG_7738 (Medium)Well thats the fair over for another year, and I had a lovely time, catching up with friends, making new ones, and selling lots of cards! It was straight back to work today, all I can say is roll on the end of the week when I start 2 weeks holidays! Todays cards are continuing on with Kaisercraft Say Aloha papers from the 6″ pad, and I stamped and coloured ( with prismacolour pencils) my Deep red stamp – this stamp has 4 girl images on it, and I separated them all as I use them separately.Bling and flowers on these ones finish them off. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Say Aloha 4 and 5

IMG_7735 (Medium)IMG_7736 (Medium)Ttodays top card uses the 12 x 12 papers in the Say Aloha kaisercraft collection, and I just had to add some bling, collectables, and ribbon. The die i uses was a spellbinders happy birthday die.My favourite is the bottom card which uses the 6″paper pad from the same collection, and the rhinestones are all that is needed on this card.may have to buy another pack of the collectables from this range – I just love the flamingos! til tomorrow…..

kaisercraft say aloha 3 and 4

IMG_7733 (Medium)IMG_7734 (Medium)More gorgeous bright cards made with kaisercraft say alaoha paper collection. The top card uses a piece of 12 x 12 paper, while the bottom card is cretaed with some paper from the 6’paper pad. Collectable, ruffled ribbon, bows and a bit of bling to finish. Another day or two stocktaking at work, then a few days off ..I will need it! til tomorrow…..

Say Aloha number 2

IMG_7728 (Medium)Kaisercraft say aloha paper collection from the 6″ pad, and the matching collectables for this one.I used a black cardstock base, and die cut the Birthday using a spellbinders die, and matted it on more black cardstock and fussy cut around it. A busy day today, finished off my July classes and got all my gear together ready for next weekends three day fair. I am glad all that’s done as this week is going to be very busy at work – it’s stocktake so I will be counting all week, squeeze in a class on Thursday morning, and back over to work to complete the counting Thursday afternoon.Thankfully Friday is a day off! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft say Aloha number 1

IMG_7731 (Medium)The other paper collection I bought this month was Kaisercraft Say Aloha. With its bright bright colours and gorgeous flamingos I just couldn’t resist – I am always looking for something colourful at this time of year when it is so cold ,wet and dull here! For this first card I have used a mix of the 12 x 12 papers, 6″ pad and the collectables. I die cut a vellum butterfly,a scalloped circle, and added a kaisercraft paper flower. In the 6′ pad there are a couple of sheets with greetings on them so I die cut one of them out for the sentiment. Today I spent a couple of hours making a few quick cards for the craft fair next weekend, the time has come around so quickly this year, hopefully I have made enough…almost too late now to worry about that!! Til tomorrow…..

A quick and simple one ..

IMG_6504 (Medium)A really simple card today that started with the negative piece of a kaisercraft leaf flourish die cut. After I made my card using the die cut I looked at the scraps left and this blue piece of bazzil where I had cut out the shape was the perfect size for a card front. I backed the piece with more scrap – a piece of brown bazzil this time, stuck on a few flowers, a ribbon bow, mounted the whole piece on a card base. A quick card done in about 5 minutes, and no more scraps on the table! I have finally managed to spend a couple of hours in the craft room today finishing up a few orders, and creating some great bright cards using kaisercraft Say Aloha paper collection and some stamping and colouring thrown in as well. The colours in this collection brightened my day!Til tomorrow…..

The final 4 simple stories I am!!

IMG_3100 (Medium) IMG_3101 (Medium)Here are the final 4 cards I have made with Simple Stories I Am. A bit of layering on these ones, and some of the extra embellishments I used were a metal key, ribbon bow, sequins,Die cut vellum butterfly and a flower. As you can tell I loved working with this paper collection and think I made 32 cards altogether with this purchase! Today was a day off for me but very busy shopping and time spent getting my little car fixed, but I have a little while before I have to organize tea so will head to the craft room to start a couple of customer orders.til tomorrow….

Another 6 simple stories I am..

IMG_3097 (Medium)IMG_3098 (Medium)IMG_3099 (Medium)This paper just goes on and on!!Another 6 cards with Simple Stories I am  paper collection, we have one more post and we will be able to move on. The common theme with this group of 6 is that they only rely on the paper ( except for a few sequins on card 3) .No embellishing required. I have been making some cards with kaisercrafts’ new release which is so bright and fun, just what we need in the depths of winter weather! til tomorrow…..

simple stories I am 17,18,19,20,21, and 22

IMG_3091 (Medium)IMG_3092 (Medium)IMG_3094 (Medium)we are back to Simple stories I am paper collection  just a few papers but so many cards! I used my dymo labeller on some of them to add to the sentiments, added a flower or sequins here and there but really not much more embellishing required on these ones. Today is Mothers day here so it has been a lovely afternoon with my sisters and mum at our local papercrafting store having a girlie day out! til tomorrow….

the very special last Bo Bunny Garden journal card….

IMG_3111 (Medium)IMG_3113 (Medium)This is the last two Bo Bunny garden Journal cards I have made – No doubt there will be more at some time, but todays cards are the last for now. The blue one uses a kaisercraft dres form die ( I love it) and the bottom one is an experiment in shabby chic style, so lots of ripping of paper ( so hard for me to do) and distressing and inking, mixed with lace, tulle, ribbon and bling. I made a matching box to fit it into.Today is a great day..i finally have a day where I can spend a great amount of time in the craft room, and just as well as it’s only 4 weeks until my 3 day craft fair, so it’s all about making enough cards to sell!Til tomorrow….
