Very slow internet tonight – very nearly didn’t get this post done, but here we are – A kazzazz Fuschia stamp, which i coloured with my distress markers and an aqua brush. The cardstock is Stampin up pink Pirouette and wisteria wonder, and the border embossing folder is by Darice. The ribbons and sentiment stamp are from Stampin Up. Well thats my weekend officially over – went far too quickly, but at least I got my October lessons done. I have laid out some things on my craft table to do a scrap book page, so will work on that on and off this week, til tomorrow,…..

Graphic 45 french Country
We havent finished with the true romance cards , but we will get back to them – Today I ran a class using Graphic 45 French Country papers, and I had forgotten how much I liked this collection of papers, so i couldn’t resist making some for myself ! For this card, I covered the whole base card with paper, and ran a strip of border paper across the bottom. The sentiment is cut out of some more of the paper, and I used a matching chipboard for the focal point. I have a huge bag of new papers here at my feet, and I can’t wait to have a good look at it all, so Til tomorrow….
Ruby Rocket Cook number 1
Tonights card is made with some paper that i picked up – Ruby Rocket Cook. I loved the homespun feel of this paper, and bought just a few sheets, and have made a few cards with it, with still plenty left for another time! For this first card I punched out squares from each of the papers, inked around the edges with tim holtz tea dye distress ink, and layered them on to another sheet of paper. I die cut a circle for the greeting, and added buttons and a flower to finish. Quick post tonight as I have a work function that I am attending, so must go and get organised. Til tomorrow….
Summer Breeze number 2
How ironic the title of this post is! As I sit here we are waiting for a huge storm to hit – a severe weather warning has been issued, and it is freezing here at the moment! The paper is Kaisercraft Summer breeze, and for this card I used a piece of 12 x 12 paper for the flowery layer, and a piece of paper from the 6″ pad for the background layer. The butterflies are from the matching collectables, and I used a stampin up sentiment stamp on a die cut piece, also from the 6″ paper pad.I am off now to get my bag prepared for my favourite class tomorrow – looking forward to catching up with my Mature Ladies! Til tomorrow….
More stamping!
Similar layout to last nights card, with the Stampin Up madison Avenue stamp set, but a few different colours( rich razzleberry and pool party cardstock, and gumball green, tangerine tango and rich razzleberry ink pads) and I used a little designer paper as well. The trims are also Stampin up – Buttons, linen thread and ribbon. Its so cold and wet here today, I have turned on the heater, will cook some tea, and then I am not moving from my chair! Til tomorrow….
Stamping fun..
Todays card is similar to yesterdays – same colours, and stamp set ( serene silhouettes from stampin up). I also used the same free embossing folder, and the ribbon and sentiment are also from stampin up. The chalk ink I used is Prima brand – I like them for colouring my stamps if I want to use more than one colour in the one stamp as they are a little stamp pad and I have more control over where the colour is going on the stamp. The flower is also Prima.Today I found some neglected paper so I have been making some retro 50’s style cards – lots of buttons and ric-rac. Til tomorrow….
Tea for two and Dress forms – stampin up number 2
Two cards today, and the one on the left uses all the same products as the card on the previous post, but I used Bashful Blue cardstock instead of Pink cardstock, and used a different piece of patterned paper from the Tea for Two range. The card on the right uses Attic boutique paper from Stampin up, and lace an d flower trim, also from stampin up.Same ideas – different looks! It’s a very cold afternoon here in Adelaide, the end of the working week, and I am looking forward to getting into the craft room this weekend – I haven’t been in there all week – it’s just been too cold to move very far from the heater! Til tomorrow….
Tea for two and Dress up – stampin Up
I have quite a list of things I used on this card – all Stampin Up except for a few at the end of the list! Here goes – The dies used are Blossom party die and Dress up framelits, the embossing folder is Honeycomb, paper is tea for two ( gorgeous range) the sentiment is stamped with a stamp from Itty Bitty Banners, and I used pink Piruoette cardstock and inked all my edges with the same colour ink. The flourish on the dress form was stamped with a stamp from Everything Eleanor in versamark ink and then I brushed on some perfect pearl powder – thats not stampin up as is the rest – Doily, rhinestones and large pearl. the ribbon is stampin up taffeta pink pirouette. Whew! I did enjoy creating this card, and I have another one in a similar style to show you all tomorrow. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Porcelain rose 10 and 11 – The last….
Quick post tonight, as Tea is cooking as we speak! Here are my last two cards made using Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose, so tomorrow we move on to something new! I made good use of the collectables for these cards, used the 6″ pad for the backgrounds, and created a little scene using the border strips, chairs , flowers and tags ( which I used as pictures on the wall) I loved working with this collection, the colours were so varied, and the range of cards I made all looked different. I have none of these cards left now as they all sold at my craft fair stall.Off now to dish up tea, Til tomorrow….
