Echo Park Love Story number 2

IMG_3659 (Medium)Echo Park – Love story patterned paper, ansd another not quite shabby chic style. I distressed and inked all the edges of my layers, added a doily, a couple of leaves die cut using a memory box die – Meadow Leaf. Assorted flowers, and a big one made from some netting with a kaisercraft brad in the centrer,and all that was left to do was stamp the happy birthday!Til tomorrow….

Basic Grey Serenade number 4

IMG_3596 (Medium)Basic grey serenade 6″pad and sticker sheet – hard to beleive this is the same collection as the few cards previously posted, and i think this one is my favourite. I used a sticker from the matching sticker sheet, and the pleated netting and bling is from websters pages. I just added satin and organza cream ribbon and a couple of flowers to finish. I haven’t been in the craft room in the evenings this week, as I have started new hours at work – early starts, and longer days, so a little tired, but the good news is that I have 3 1/2 days off a week, so much more time for crafting on the weekends! Grapohic 45 A place in Time number 3

IMG_7233 (Medium)Graphic 45 a place in Time march Cut outs paper, and some pretty Bazil for matting. The card stock is Stampin Up Garden Green, and just a little lace down the side. A liberal squirt of Kindyglitz and this one was a very quick make indeed!Very hot day here in South Australia, so definitely no card making tonight – just trying to stay cool in front of the T.V. for me! secret Admirer number 3

IMG_7220 (Medium)Here is number 3 in my kaisercraft Secret admirer series. Again I have used the same sheet 0f 12 x 12 paper, and a collectable. The butterfly is punched with a martha stewart butterfly punch, and I added ribbon and pearls to finish. Quick posts this week, as I am very busy at work, and shattered by the time I get home – no crafting this week! Til tomorrow….

kaisercraft Secret Admirer number 2

IMG_7219 (Medium)Kaisercraft Secret Admier number 2 – still using the same 12 x 12 sheet of paper as yesterday, and the bike, frame and sentiment from the collectables pack. I just added a couple of kaisercraft sparklets,,ribbon and kindglitz to finish. great class with my Mature ladies today,back to my real job tomorrow! But at the moment I am creating beach themed cards in the craft room as the weather is still quite hot here and beach type cards seems the way to go! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft pickled pear!

IMG_4251 (Medium)Today I taught a class with my lovely ladies using Kaisercraft Pickled Pear papers, so thought it would be an idea to show a couple of other cards I have made using this paper collection over the next couple of days. I also used the matching collectables, and a prims canvas bird, which I coloured with a sponge a nd distress inks.The lovely branchy bits is made by stamping  a kaisercraft pickled pear stamp onto acetate and cutting out. I will definitely be found in the craft room tonight, so looking forward to it! til tomorrow….

Spellbinders labels seventeen number 3

IMG_4281 (Medium)IMG_4282 (Medium)There are two views of todays card, because the is a bit of work on the inside as well as the outside! I covered the front of the card ( all papers used are Kaisercraft Miss Nelly) and used the spellbinders label seventeen to die cut an aperture. The piece that was cut out was stuck inside on top of some more patterned paper, and I added a couple of butterflies die cut from Cheery Lyn exotic butterfly small #2. just added some bright ribbon and bling to finish.This is a simple card to make but looks really effective, and I must remember to make more like this! StIll on the oval theme…

IMG_4184 (Medium)The oval theme – did you all pick up on that one? The last few posts have all involved ovals, which I only noticed myself today! Every thing on this card except for the brads ( kaisercraft) are stampin Up items. here goes – cardstock – Pool party, designer paper – Comfort Cafe,curly cute sentiment,sizzlets Leaves die,Designer frames oval embossing folder,and stamps – Clearly for you, and the flowers are from Vintage Vogue stamp set and fussy cut. I forgot about this card, i really like the design and I am off now to experiment some more with it1 Til tomorrow…

Cuttlebug card 3

I hope all my american friends had a safe and happy Thanksgiving! Todays card uses some very old paper ( I think it’s daisy D’s) which I found in the back of a cupboard whilst looking for something else..and I gave my cuttlebug a workout as well. Here’s the list – Stampin Up – Pink pirouette, crumbcake, and whisper white cardstock, curly cute sentiment,ribbon , brad,and party blossom die.The rest – a circle punch, and spellbinders Picot edge circles and Classic edges 2 edgeabilities. Speaking of  which, a couple of posts down I loved a border that I used but couldn’t remember what it was – well there it is –  Spellbinders Edgeabilities classic edges 2 die . So glad I rediscovered it, and will be giving it a workout this weekend!I had a lovely morning teaching a class at Paper flourish,and while I was there I bought some Prismacolor pencils so I will be experimenting with them this weekend too, so plenty to keep me busy! Prima Tea thyme number 5

I can’t remember how many cards I have posted using this paper from prima -Tea Thyme, so we are calling this number 2 and I will check later ( just checked – this is number 5, so have changed things to correct)!I used the matching Prima flowers and hat pins that are also available with this range, and teamed it up with my Tim Holtz sizzix caged bird die.There is a memory box la Rue flourish there as well, and some kaisercraft pearls and seam binding. I made a matching box to put this one in, and it wouldn’t fit in an envelope! behind the cage is a tag pocket to slip a gift voucher in to. Today I am busy making male themed cards with a sea side theme as it’s that time of year here in Australia! Til tomorrow…
