This paper has so much going on that it isn’t neccessary to cover the whole card with paper like I usually do so this is another one where i have left a fair bit of white space on the card. I have used a piece of Kaisercraft Lady Rose 12 x 12 paper, the shaped piece is from the 6 ” pad, and the butterflies are from the matching pack of collectables. I added some kaisercraft pearls and a sentiment ( stamp from stampin Up). I ahve done a couple of orders todays, and I am off now to play with my new papers.Til tomorrow….

Lady Rose number 4
A totally different card today compared to yesterdays clean and simple design! This is a card I made for our card club. The background paper is from the Kaisercraft Lady Rose 6″ pad, and I fussy cut all the flowers around the edges from another sheet from the same pad. I lightly inked the doily and added some of the matching collectables. I drew the bodice ( the paper there is a scrap of websters pages) added some lace for the skirt, and them embellished with flowers, pearls and ribbon. I had great fun creating this one – didn’t think too much about it – just cut and stuck! I have a couple of orders to do this weekend, then lots of new kaisercraft papert to play with – can’t wait!til tomorrow…..
kaisercraft Tea Party number 4
i am loving the bright colours of this paper _ kaisercraft Tea Party. Here I used the 6″ pad for the bottom layer on stampin up cardstock for the card base. The cupcake is from the collectables pack, and I added another strip of paper down the side with some lace. I added some kindyglitz to the cupcake for some bling. I am busy today making some card for an order, a few more to do, then plan out my december lessons! til tomorrow…..

Stamping with Madison Avenue
This is a nice bright card for a change! All supplies are from Stampin Up – the stamp set is Madison Avenue, and the butterflies were stamped with a stamp from Clearly for you stamp set. The cardstock is Summer Starfruit and whisper white, and the stamp pads I used were gumball green, tangerine tango and summer starfruit. I added a little bling and some tangerine tango ribbon to finish.I stamped the flower heads separately and fussy cut them so that I could mount them with foam pads for a bit of dimension.I have a baby card to make for an order tonight, then feet up in front of the tv! Til tomorrow….
Celebrate Today with Bo Bunny Prairie Chic….
I have interrupted my latest series to post this card that I made this morning ( in between shopping and visiting Mum and dad) . It’s a special card because I am Celebrating – In the next few hours one of you will be my 100,000th visitor to my blog! This is amazing to me – My blog is a daily journal of my crafting travels, and sometimes my life travels too. That so many of you visit is great, and that so many of you come back is even better! My love and relaxation is card making, although I have taken a few short trips down the box making path, the off the page path , scrapbooking path, and the mixed media canvas art path ( a longer path that one as I love creating canvasses!) I always stay true to card making. looking back over my blog I have evolved and changed, and tried some new techniques – some worked, some didn’t, but I have always had fun and shown my successes and failures! Recent highlight was being chosen as a beautiful Blog in Papercraft Inspirations magazine, and ongoing highlights are my card classes that I teach, many of my ladies I class as true friends, and they travel the card making path with me, sharing ideas, and tips.So to all of you who visit, those that keep coming back and the 100 or so followers that have joined along the way – Thank You so much for letting me reach this milestone! Todays card was quickly made with Bo Bunny Prairie chic papers, a stampin up sentiment stamp, and some ribbon lace, and bling. I think it reflects my style ( for now!) perfectly! ( Can’t wait to make more with this gorgeous paper….Til tomorrow…..
Prima Divine number 5
Very quick post tonight as I haven’t started tea yet! We are sticking with the Prima Divine a4 paper pad , and I have used one of the chipboard pieces with this card. I matted a couple of layers of the paper, and distressed all the edges with my martha Stewart distressing tool. Ink used is Tea dye distress ink. I added a trio of flowers at the bottom of the card, picking out the colours in the dress. The sentiment is a stampin up stamp.Til tomorrow….
Prima Divine number 1
Today we start my Prrima Divine series – This paper is right up there with all time favourites, it has a distinct vintage flavour and lends itself well to shabby chic as well – my favourite styles! It distresses well and so I did a lot of that…..I bought the a4 pad in this collection, because its tailored made for cardmakers, the size means each sheet can cover 4 cards comfortably with no waste, and I also purchased a sheet of chipboard pieces – the tea cup on this card is one of them. I inked aroung all my edges, added a ribbon bow and flowers and stamped a sentiment with a stampin up stamp.
Kaisercraft secrat admirer number 9
I am sorry I have been a bit of an erratic blogger this week, but we have had terrible trouble with our internet provider. hopefully its all sorted now, and here we are with todays post! Still using Kaisercraft Secret admirer collection, and I made a banner to go across the top, tied with pretty white bows. I used kaisercraft bling strips as flower stems, and some kaiser craft resin flowers – I love these! The cardstock is stampin Up melon Mambo. I have been busy in the craft room this week putting together a 20 card order, but that’s done now, and I am going to find my graphic 45 songbird collection and make some cards with that, I barely touched it when I first got it, so can’t wait to really get stuck into that! Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 a place in time number 5
