I can’t remember at all what company brought out these papers, and I was actually very surprised to see them in the group we are working our way through! I would imagine it was a collection that came out just after christmas when life was hugely busy and i bought without paying too much attention! anyway i obviuosly made a couple of quick cards with it before I filed it away, and I am sure we will see it again at a future date!!Simple cards, with inked edges ,lace and ribbon.( and a bit of fussy cutting). It is horrendously humid here today and there will be no sitting in the craft room. I have spent some time working on the family tree, and I am at apoint where I have to confer with dad, so that is where I will be this afternoon – besides they have refridgerated air conditioning which is not affected by humidity like our unit is! Two more stampin up Botanical blooms

Here are another two pinterest inspired stampin up botanical blooms cards. These creations in their original form can be found on my stampin up pinterest board. On both cards the dies , papers, and stamps are from stampin up, from their botanical blooms range. The bakers twine on the bottom card is also stampin up, the hessian strip on the bottom card is by Green Tara, and I added black ribbon to the top card – speaking of which after the photo was taken I fixed the excess amount of glue on the sequins – a big clue as to when I made these ones – on a very hot day when the glue ran very freely! After making these three card and getting a feel for the set I went out on my own and came up with some of my own designs which are waiting to be photoed, so we will see them at a later date! The tip I have for these die cut flowers is to sponge ink in the centre to give them shading ( it makes a huge difference) and to shape the petals before sticking to the card.Today is a village lesson, so I am off now to pack my box of supplies and remind myseld of what we are actually doing! last months village lesson card
Today as I am finishing off the preparation for next weeks village lesson, I thought I would show you what the ladies made last lesson. This one is the first, and tomorrow I will post the other two cards. The pretty white background paper is a specialty paper, already embossed, and with a lovely shine to it, and the dies ( for the leaves and the border were from kaisercraft. the bird is my trusty stampin up bird punch, and the sentiment is Stampin up Curly cute stamp.Just a bit of ribbon to finish.Roast in the oven for lunch, housework done and now before I sort out the vegatables for steaming I must pop out and wash my car which is lost under a layer of red dust! Kaisercraft Curiosity 18 and 19.

Well I am glad to say we are back to normal after a few days of Nathan tearing his hair out, and muttering technical things that I didn’t understand! This is the last two cards I have made with kaisercraft Curiosity and I can’t believe I have made 19 cards with this paper, and I enjoyed making every one of them! it’s not often that I make that many with one collection, which just goes to prove I loved this paper. One day I will return to it and finish off the bits and pieces I have left. And the most amazing thing is I have used minimal extra embellishing. Truly a great collection. The two cards shown here use all 6″ pad papers and tags, some fussy cut bits and a collectable ( one of the butterflies).Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Curiosity 16 and 17
I’m back, but still a few glitches as you can see, but it’s better than it was!Hopefully by tomorrow all will be restored.Todays cards are still Kaisercraft Curiosity, and we just have a couple more do and then will move on. Both cards use the 6″ paper pad, and the images are from a 12 x 12 paper.the only extras on the card on the right are ribbon and a die cut from berry vine die ( kaisercraft). We had a very warm weekend, and a couple of birthdays in the family to celebrate, but I did get into the craft room for an afternoon and planned out a village lesson.I also squeezed in a visit to Paper Flourish ( I just went for double sided tape and 450 glue) and saw the new Prima papers which i just couldnt resist, so came home with lost of new goodies! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Curiosity number 12..
Kaisercraft curiosity collection, with a lot of fussy cutting from the 12 x 12 papers and just a ribbon bow for some extra texture. tomorrow will be the final two cards with this collection ( for now, anyway), and they are special card in a box cards.Today is the first day in quite a while that I don’t have any pressing engagements, and it’s lovely to just relax and fritter the time away! I have straightened up my craft desk, things tend to get piled on top of each other on there during the week and then on the weekend I have to spend a little while putting things in their proper place before I can start creating, but that’s done and now I am going to go and contemplate which paper collection I am going to create with today. It’s going to be a lovely day! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Curiosity 10,11….

Oops! you all saw the 21st card yesterday! I liked it so much I put it up again!!!( technical glitch). The paper collection and matching collectables is Kaisercraft Curiosity, and I did a bit of fussy cutting, and just added a touch of ribbon and lace. I am glad I decided to go back and use the paper I have because I haven’t bought any paper yet this year..( I know!!). So far nothing has grabbed my imagination, but I am hoping that changes when all the american new releases hit our stores.Meanwhile this morning i am off to teach a lesson, so must go and get organised. Til tomorrow….
Goodbye to Kaisercraft blae and Ivy..

Today we say goodbye to Kaisercraft Blae and Ivy collection. I took it out for a last play, and the leftover papers in this collection have gone into the pile to sort and sell at Junes craft fair. I love the blue card at the top of the post – I used my Stampin Up bird punch, kaisercraft numbers die set, lace and ribbon for this one and the card below has prima flowers, ribbon, lace and bling.Thats another paper collection played with for the last time and culled! Just at least 100 to go!Now is the time for me to start on my Mothers day cards, so i should be able to get through a few collections in the next few weeks. For now though I am off to Paper Flourish to collect some supplies for March lessons. Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft my Cherie 2..
This is the second card we made in last weeks class using My Cherie paper collection from Kaisercraft. All three cards ( third one tomorrow) were made using 3 sheets from the collection and the ladies went home with lots of left over product to make more cards at home! The happy Birthday die is from spellbinders and we added a ribbon bow to this one.Still confined to bed, so today I moved some of my craft room ( or got Nathan to I should say) onto my bed and spent the morning doing some watercolouring. Also doing a bit of reading, but boy, it’s going to be a long week. Til tomorrow….
graphic 45 Le’Amour

Love this collection and will get back to it once the christmas cards are finished , which should be by this time next week! Just a quick post this morning as I have to get off to work, til tomorrow…..
