Pink Paislee Bella Rouge paper , stampin up create a cupcake

IMG_1763 (Medium)A mix of paper collection and stamping today. The paper collection is Pink Paislee bella Rouge. I only bought a couple of sheets of this paper,( I liked the colour combination of pink and mustard)and I layered it onto my card front. the flowers were fussy cut from the reverse of one of the sheets. The stamp set is Stampin up Create a cupcake, and I stamped my images onto white scrap cardstock and fussy cut them out. the butterfly was also fussy cut from the reverse of the patterned paper. The sentiment stamp came from the create a cupcake set.I taught my last lesson of the year today, a big group of lovely ladies, and a very enjoyable morning it was too!I have had a relaxing afternoon, but now it’s time to organise dinner, so Til tomorrow…..

Graphic 45 Time to Celebrate 5 and 6

IMG_4990 (Medium)IMG_4991 (Medium)It is a very versatile paper, this Graphic 45 Time to celebrate.. so far we have had wedding, baby, and now graduation and little girl birthday! The top card has lots of fussy cutting, and a bit of layering. the bottom card is much simpler with just a bit of ribbon and lace to decorate. I taught a class this morning, and normally when I get home I go into the card room feeling all inspired, but today is just far too hot, – about 38C at the moment, so I will be found curled up in my chair under the air conditioning reading a book! prima Forever Green 9 and 10

IMG_8587 (Medium)IMG_8589 (Medium)I feel like I have been posting cards made with this collection ( prima Forever green) for ever! but we will keep going because we are nearly finished, and the cards i managed to make out of this collection are all quite varied and there are a couple coming up that are my absolute favourites!.these two meanwhile use the usual variety of ribbon, flowers and even sequins, and the bottom card has a die cut fairy which I did using a spellbinders die, and I used my wink of stella brush to highlight the wings with a little blingy sheen. The cardstock is as usual stampin up.day off today, so I am off into the card room to get a head start on some orders. til tomorrow….

Stamping and watercolouring with tim holtz markers

IMG_5481 (Medium)i have been on a mission to make some little girl cards, and I found this stamp stashed away – it came off the front of a magazine, but its very good quality, and I thought it was quite cute! I coloured her with tim holtz distress markers and an aqua brush ( not confident enough to use a paint brush), and the rest of the products – spellbinders timeless rectangle die, kaisercraft paper and mini flowers, martha stewart leaf punch, and stampin up cardstock and ribbon. For those of you intersted , I have done a you-tube video testing out the new spellbinder tool for Paper Flourish ( yes I get to play with new products and let you all know what I think – best job ever!!)You can see it by going to http://www.paperflourish.com.au and clicking on the blog button! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Storyteller number 7

IMG_3720 (Medium)Kaisercraft Storyteller 6″ pad, lace, assorted flowers, and ribbon bow. The leaf is die cut with a sizzix biigz leaf die, which I have had for ages, but only started using recently, In fact i took it out for the lesson I did today, and wondered why it was so long before I used it, so you may see it on more cards in the future!I taught a lesson today with a lovely group of ladies all brave enough to come out in the cold wet weather we are experiencing. In fact it is too cold to sit in the craft room, and so I am going to bring the projects I am currently working on into the lounge room! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft storyteller number 4

IMG_3715 (Medium)Kaisercraft Storyteller paper pad, collectables, ribbon and flower. A little bit of fussycutting of the paper that looks like lace. The colours in this collection fall into two distinct catagories, and after the first few cards ( already shown ) I separated them, and so the next few cards over the next couple of days fall into the blue hues.Lovely paper! The craft fair is over for another year, and I had a great time catching up with fellow crafters and friends, and just watching the world go by! of course quite a few stopped, and I sold a lot of cards but also had lovely chats with lots of lovely ladies. I am already looking forward to next year! Til tomorrow….

I also used an ek success border punch, and ribbon and a kaisercraft mini flower. Til tomorrow….
