This weekend i received my new Uniquely Creative Winter Rose collection in the mail, so everything was put on hold while I fussycut elements, gathered matching cardstock and flowers and started to create! These are the very first two cards I made, using papers, creative cuts, and on the happy birthday card a glitter die cut using Uniquely Creative Flourish die, and a clear dome in the flower centre. The second card is all ready for dads fathers day card.. being scottish he will love the stag! I am off now to make more with this stunning paper collection! Til next time, stay safe…
A cuttlebug card today as I haven’t posted one of these for a while! Stampin up cardstock for the base, white cardstock embossed with stampin up lacy brocade embossing folder, flowers die cut with blossom party die ( stampin Up) and scrap paper – bo bunny I think from memory… Leaves from black cardstock using a sizzlets stampin up leaves die, and assorted brads – also bo bunny.I have been busy today getting my december lessons done – one more to go! til tomorrow….
hard to believe that this paper is from the same designer series ( stampin Up Afternoon Picnic) as the previous card! I die cut a dress form from Kraft cardstock using Stampin Up dress Up die, and inked a doily ,added a seam binding bow and a necklace of liquid pearls to finish. Ready to pack up the christmas stuff for a day or two and start on something else tomorrow… til tomorrow….
I purchased a few Kaisercraft Kaiserfusion markers, and this is my first attempt at using them. The paper collection is Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose, and the stamps are from the same collection.I used Stampin Up Framelit labels collection Dies, and added a little ribbon bow to finish. I am quite impressed with the markers, and I am slowly building up my collection and will continue to practise!I am battling a cold just now so not feeling 100% and have had a couple of days off work to try and recover – It seems the fresh sea air on last weekends mini break did me more harm than good! Til tomorrow…..
I am back after a few days break, we had lovely weather and did a lot of walking and relaxing and I have come back with batteries recharged and itching to get started on lots of new ideas! Todays card is as clean and simple as I can do – I punched some hexagons out of the patterned paper with a stampin up hexagon stamp, and stamped a couple of them with the matching stampin up six-sided sampler stamp set. I had some fun rearranging them on the front of the card and added a few buttons for texture and interest. Til tomorrow….
These two cards are made with Kaisercraft True Romance – the 6″ paper pad, and some fussy cutting from a couple of the 12 x 12 sheets.I added a delicate ribbon bow, lace, and some Kaisercraft pearls to finish. The sentiment stamps are from Stampin Up.The top ard uses some of the colectables from the matching pack.Must go before dinner is cooked to a crisp! Til tomorrow….
This set of cards are made using Kaisercraft True Romance paper collection by Kaisercraft. I love this paper, and have made many many cards with it – I can’t believe these are the first I have posted – this is how far behind I am in the whole posting thing! The card just above makes use of some clear dome stickers stuck over the top of the little images which I cut out of some of the paper in the 6″ pad.The die used is spellbinders Picot circles, and added lace, ribbon and a flower to finish.til tomorrow….
I used all kinds o bits and pieces for this card – the papers are Ruby Rocket Cook, and I found some ( very old) ric rac in the bottom of my sewing box, some chipboard pieces that I think came off the front of a magazine as a freebie, a button and some thread, and I made a paper bow which I inked around with tim holtz tea dye ink. I really like the paper bow, and will be making more cards with these on them! All that was left to do was to add a flower, and stamp the sentiment. No cards tonight – after my evening out last night there are a few jobs to do around here , so Til tomorrow…..
Quick post tonight as I am a bit tired after my two days at the craft fair, and one more day still to go. It’s been great fun, meeting new people, seeing lots of familiar aces, and selling lots! todays card is made using kaisercrafts new range – Porcelain Rose. I particularly like this one as it has a few different colourways as you will see over the next couple of days. For this card I used the 6″ pad and matching collectables, and added a hand rolled flower ( easy to do – just punch out a circle, cut it into a spiral and roll it up) a kaisercraft flower, ribbon and a stampin up sentiment stamp. I am off to put my feet up – Til tomorrow…..
We are revisiting Prima Tea Thyme paper collection, made using the 6″ pad. I have matted the paper onto black cardstock, and added some prima flowers and a bling swirl. the sentiment is stamped with a stampin up stamp.Very quick and easy card!I have made great inroads into my mens cards today, and can now pack up the browns, greys and blues and break out some lilacs, pinks, and pastels tonight. I am going to go back to some previously underused papers, and clear a little room in the craft room, to make room for all the lovely papers coming through from CHA….Til tomorrow….
