Kaisercraft Ooh La La , 12 x 12 paper, and matching collectables. These are still the cards i have been making while I haven’t been able to do any die cutting, but on the top card i used my Stampin Up bow builder punch, love it and will be using it a lot more!Otherwise a very simple card. The bottom card has lots of texture – lace, ribbon, pearls, sequins and even a flower! the greeting is a vertical stamp from Stampin Up, another item I will be using a lot this coming year! Til tomorrow ( with our last card in this series…for now…)…
This is a card I made for our cardmakers club challenge. We had to have a go at making ribbon roses, which I failed miserably! In the end I just covered a die cut circle with glue, piled on the ribbon and crossed my fingers, but oh well we all have our weaknesses and making ribbon flowers is mine! I do like the rest of the card though, and for it I used – Stampin Up Pink Pirouette cardstock, spellbinders D-Lite die – ornamental tags two, a cheery lyn die, and Melissa francis paper – C’est La Vie. I added lace, a bling swirl, large pearl and prima flowers to finish. I have had a good afternoon in the craft room today, and I am heading back there now to put my head down and come up with some Ideas for my August classes. Til tomorrow…..
This afternoon I taught a class over at the retirement village which reminded me I didn’t show you all the cards I taught last month over there, so here’s the first one – very simple – cardstock is all stampin up – Pool Party, blushing bride( which is the card base) and whisper white. The embossing folder is Stampin up fancy Fan folder, and the border punch used is martha Stewart lace doily punch. I found the middle of the embossed piece of cardstock , cut down 4 cms, and folded each cut back to create the V necked sweater. The buttons are craftworks craft candii, and liquid pearls for the necklace. Have a look at your embossing folders – I’ll bet one of them would work for this design!A lovely evening last night spent in the craft room, and I am heading in there again this evening as all my lot are busy putting on a wrestling show…..peace…..Til tomorrow….
I had a lovely morning with a large group of ladies in my class today, and we were using Kaisercraft Secret Admirer patterned paper, so I thought this afternoon we would revisit this collection, as I still have quite a few cards to show in my files. This one uses the 12 x12 paper, and the matching collectables.I punched a border strip using a martha stewart lace doily punch out of some lovely pink kaisercard, and blinged it up with kaisercraft rhinestones and sparklets. the sentiment is stamped using a stamp from Stampin Up perfectly penned set. This afternoon I have been creating with some basic grey paper, a short break to cook some dinner, and I will be back in the craft room to finish what i have started! Til tomorrow….
A very early post today as it’s shopping tonight, and i want to set up 3 lessons before then – I am trying to get ahead a little bit because I have a trip to Canberra in a couple of weeks ( so looking forward to that) and of course my 3 day craft fair almost straight after that. I remember saying a couple of weeks ago that I was going through a pink/grey phase – this is one of those cards. The stamp set is Apothecary art stamp set from Stampin Up,and the designer paper is also from Stampin Up – Twitterpated.Cardstock is stampin Up basic grey and Pink Pirrouetteand I added some lace, ribbon and a flower made from scrap paper using my sizzix 3d flowers die. The sentiment across the middle is from a set by Stampin Up called So happy for you. The Apothecary art set comes with sentiments, but I wanted a more delicate print. All the labels are die cut using my cuttlebug and stampin Up label collection dies.Til tomorrow….
Here is my final Mothers day card for the year! A quick and easy one for those of you who left it til the last minute! The paper is Kaisercraft madame Boutique, and the stamp ( which I coloured with tim holtz distress ink and a waterbrush) is Kaisercraft lady Jude. Just a pearl flourish and a flower to finish. I hope everyone has a lovely Mothers day tomorrow, I am hoping for a day of no cooking – but I am not holding my breath on that one! Til tomorrow…..
