Today we are starting a new collection of cards made with Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane paper collection. I love this collection, and the class I am teaching this week uses this paper too! This card has papers from the 6″ pad, and matching collectables on it. I have added some flowers, ribbon and lace ( I picked this lace up in an op shop in a country town close to Adelaide)Just a quick post today as I must go and organise tea, til tomorrow….

Floral sprays and a box..
Another example of my handmade floral spray used on a card. The papers are Kaisercraft PS I love you,and the die is paper rose Ornate circle . I used a collectable doily ( from the paper collection) under the circle. This card could be used for wedding, engagement or anniversary..or even Valentines day!Quick post today as it’s awfully hot sitting here at the computer, I am going to find a nice spot under an airconditioning vent to sit and read a good book! til tomorrow….
Card and matching box..
While my shoulder was not good ( great day today as my Doctor has cleared me and I am back to normal!)to pass the time I made some flower bunches, and used them on cards only to realise after that they wouldn’t fit into envelopes so I made matching boxes for them. This one has a lovely wide piece of lace on it, the background paper is from kaisercraft PS I love you,and the die is Paper Roses Ornate circle. Just a quick one today, til tomorrow….
More die cuts on cards…

Todays cards are put aside for an order, I like they way they came out and will more than likely design a class around these dies. The dies are by Paper Rose, and they are: leaf scrolls, vases and stems, flower set one,and the embossing folder is a kaisercraft one. I also like this embossing folder – it fits my size card ( 15 x 21 cm folded) perfectly. I also embossed the vases. A terrific way to use up scraps of cardstock.Well, today roast is in the oven ( bit of a poor choice really as its so humid here today) washing is sorted, everyone is happy so i am off to the craft room! Til tomorrow….
An order with new dies!
Before we move on to a new series I thought I would post a card I made for an order this week because I made it using some new dies I picked up from Paper Flourish. The white leafy flourishes and pretty flowers are dies by Paper Roses, the white flower is a memory box die and the butterfly ( an older die of mine) is kaisercraft. The embossing folder I used on the background is also kaisercraft. Just some pearls and this was a great card for using up scraps of cardstock, and I love those flowers. I left them flat on this card but you could curl the petals too for a different look. I am off to the craft room now as I have a few more cards to do for orders. Til tomorrow….
Prima Rossibelle number 2…
Prima Rossibelle paper collection, along with matching flowers and chipbboard. For this one I fussy cut the paper and stuck it on some plain cardstock ( stampin up Sweet Sugarplum). I then added ribbon, a flower, and die cut Paper Rose Leafy Flourish ( in copper cardstock)A couple of pieces of chipboard and a sentiment finished this one. Today I am off to the retirement village for a class, and we will make some cards and enjoy afternoon tea( the ladies always put on a lovely handmade spread!)Til tomorrow….
Age birthday card..
Todays card is the last for now of my age birthday series, and like the previous cards uses Kaisercraft PS I Love you paper for the bottom layer. The die is Paper Rose Ornate Circle, one butterfly is from the collectables pack of the same paper collection, and I made a small spray of flowers with a ribbon bow to finish. These are actually quite quick and easy cards if you take the time to prepare a few sprays while sitting watching TV in the evening, This one in particular was just a case of winding the flower stems around each other, placing them at different heights before winding. Once all joined together you can bend the wires to spread them out or shape them around the circle as I have done here. A leaf, stamens and some silver thread is all added after the spray is stuck on the card front. Another scorcher here today,no good for crafting as the glue drys before I am ready to stick anything to it! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft True Romance pleating fun..
I wanted to explore a little bit with pleating techniques, and Kaisercraft true Romance papers were perfect for this technique as the front and backs of the papers are so pretty!I started with a card base made with Stampin Up cardstock, layered two pieces of paper on top of that. A sticker from the same collection covered the join after i had added my pleated piece of paper. A bit of measuring was involved here, but now that i have worked out the measurements any more card I make like this will be easier. Use a piece of copy paper while you are experimenting to save your lovely papers!.A bow and tag finished todays card. Til tomorrow….
A lily…
A super quick post tonight as its shopping night, and I didn’t go last week cos I wasn’t well, so things are quite empty in the kitchen cupboards!Todays card was made with kaisercraft hunt and Gather papers. I tried to make more of a female card, but I don’t think I was successful. Hunt and Gather is definitely male orientated paper! Til tomorrow…..
Blae and Ivy number 4
Well here goes. Hopefully this works tonight, we had lots of trouble last night getting the photo into the post, so if it doesn’t work tonight it will have to wait til tomorrow I’m not game to tell my techie I’ve still got problems! Anyway… Todays card is the last in my Kaisercraft Blae and Ivy series (for now) I also used the lovely stamps that were released with this paper, and stampin up cardstock and my martha stewart punch. I will be playing some more with this paper but it will be a retirement village lesson.Til tomorrow….
