Stampin Up stippled blossoms stamp number 1

IMG_0306 (Medium)I thought I would show some stamped cards I made a couple of weeks ago. These two cards are made with Stampin Up Stippled Blossoms stamp set. Its a two step stamping technique. the first stamped layer is a solid stamp, and you stamp it in a lighter colour, then use the second stamp in a darker colour over the top to get a more defined image. On the left I used stampin up inks – daffodil delight and tangerine tango, and on the card on the right I used stampin up rasberry ripple and primrose petals. The leaves were done with garden green and pistachio pudding inks. I used an E K Success punch on both cards. Still struggling with this rotten cold, so it’s been a lazy day for me! Til tomorrow….

IMG_2092 (Medium)IMG_2093 (Medium)This week a quick re visit of a few favourite paper collections. This one is Kaisercraft Tea Party. I used the 6″paper pad on both cards as well as the matching collectables, and stampin up cardstock and sentiment stamp. that was it for the top card, and for the bottom card I added a doily, ribbon bow and flower.I taught a class this morning, and sitting on my desk at the moment is some simple stories paper, waiting for me to get back to it! Kaisercraft Velvet crush number 11

IMG_2074 (Medium)I found another Kaisercraft velvet Crush card that I hadn’t posted! The card ( on the left) makes use of the matching collectables in the range, and some kaisercraft and prima flowers and ribbon. ( the cardstock is stampin up pink pirouette and black) and when I had finished it I realised it wouldn’t fit into an envelope as the flowers were too bulky, so I made a box and decorated it to match. I like making these card boxes, so you may be seeing some more of them… may have to do a youtube video of how to make….I had a great morning over at Paper Flourish this morning, met up with some friends, had an enjoyable card club, and bought some new papers from Prima, Tim Holtz, and heartfelt creations and can’t wait to start making with them. Til tomorrow….

IMG_5874 (Medium)Another 2 cards from the same 12 x 12 sheet as yesterdays cards, from graphic 45 couture collection.Again I cut a second image and 3’d the lady images. The card bases are made from stampin up cardstock, and I added some gorgeous lace, ribbon and flowers to finish.I was out and about in the heat today, but did manage to make 6 cards from the new kaisercraft Violet crush before I went out. That paper is lovely, and I can’t wait to get back to it but tomorrow I will be planning out my march lessons.Til tomorrow….

graphic 45 Couture collection 1,2, and 3…

IMG_5873 (Medium)I thought I would ease into this collection with a few simple designs to start. This is a huge group – I was quite prolific with this collection of paper so we might have to break it into 2 or 3 groups, with a little break in between just so boredom doesn’t set in! For these first three, IBecause i had bou used black cardstock for the card bases, and a sheet of 12 x 12 paper for the main images, the background paper is from the matching 6″ pad.from there I just added assorted flowers, lace, ribbon and bling.Because I had bought 3 sheets of the images I used 2 sheets  and 3’d the images by fussy cutting some of the elements such as the hat on the lady on the left etc and mounted with sticky foam pads. For now it’s back to the craft room…til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Tea Break number 5

IMG_3173 (Medium)kaisercraft Tea Break paper collection, and matching collectables, with a sentiment stamp from stampin up ( as is the cardstock) and an assortment of flowers and ribbon. I spent this morning sorting out my market boxes – I only do the one big three day fair each year but sell a lot of cards over the course of the three days, so I had to see what cards I needed to do to fill them -and it seems I have a bit of crafting ahead of me to fill them! This afternoon I made a start by making some little boy birthday cards with some great stamps from stampin up – Zoo Babies the set is called, next on the list is baby cards. Til tomorrow..
