A very early post today as I have a feeling life around here is going to be busy later on..This is a very similar sketch to the previous card, but I have stepped it up a little bit by adding the doily and a couple of extra layers and ribbon. the paper is Tilda Country Escape 12 x 12 paper pad, and the flowers are by Prima. I punched some leaves with my Martha Stewart frond punch and added some liquid pearls in the top right hand corner. It goes without saying that lace and lovely ribbon also featured! Til tomorrow….

Tilda country escape number 2
This is the second card I made using my Tilda Country Escape 12 x 12 paper pad. I just added some prima flowers, ribbon bow and lace to finish. The sentiment on the die cut ( included in the paper pad) was stamped with a stampin up sentiment stamp from the Perfectly penned set, and I inked all around my edges with tea dye distress ink.Today I have been making some cards for my February lesson useing Kaisercrafts new release for January ( Velvet Crush) – it is the most gorgeous paper and I can’t wait to start on my own cards using it! kaisercraft lady Rose number 7
we are back to Kaisercraft Lady Bella papers tonight.. The papers I used here are from the 6″ pad, and the label is from the pack of collectables.I used my stampin up sizzix gift bow die to make the bow, and added some kaisercraft pearls, a mini flower and a little prima pearl swirl under the butterfly.I do love this paper and can’t wait to get back to it, in the meantime I had a bit of a splurge and bought all the new releases from kaisercraft this month, but will have to wait til I can play with them as I have a large order to complete over the weekend. prima Delight number 3
Sorry I missed last night post, but I am not well – terribly sore throat – voice is not good, and I came home from work yesterday and fell asleep for a good long while! Still no better today, and I am hoping I am better for my class tomorrow otherwise I will be relying on sign language to give instructions! Todays card is the other card I had time to make using Prima Delight paper, ( love the image), and lace, flowers and a charm. I fussy cut the whole frame and mounted the girl image behind it. I think this evening I will pull out this paper and look at it again, see if I can do any more fussy cutting while I am watchingb tv. Til tomorrow….
Prima Delight card
A bit of a break from christmas cards.. Because i have been so busy with them I haven’t had a chance to have a good run with a lot of the papers i have been buying, this one included, and I can’t wait to find some time to really play with this one – Its, Prima Delight, and I have used the matching tags and flowers on this card too. I punched out some leaves, added a lovely coffeee satin ribbon, some lace, distressed and inked all my edges and done! Til tomorrow….
Lady Rose number 4
A totally different card today compared to yesterdays clean and simple design! This is a card I made for our card club.The background paper is from the Kaisercraft Lady Rose 6″ pad, and I fussy cut all the flowers around the edges from another sheet from the same pad. I lightly inked the doily and added some of the matching collectables. I drew the bodice ( the paper there is a scrap of websters pages) added some lace for the skirt, and them embellished with flowers,pearls and ribbon. I had great fun creating this one – didn’t think too much about it – just cut and stuck! I have a couple of orders to do this weekend,then lots of new kaisercraft papert to play with – can’t wait!til tomorrow…..
White on White Wedding card – cuttlebug
There is nothing quite so classical ( and Classy) as white on white. If I am making a wedding card and I don’t know the colour theme for the wedding I always do white on white. The key here is to use texture to make the layers stand out. So – that’s embossing folders ( swiss dots and Vintage wallpaper from stampin Up on this one) foam pads for height, and lace, ribbon, pearls and assorted flowers for mor texture and interest. The little strip of gold embossed paper is from Kaisercraft After 5 6″pad. Tomorrow I am setting up my craft fair stall, so post may be a little late, and I will try to stick to daily blogs over the weekend to let you all know how I am going,getting quite excited now! Kaisercraft Secret admirer number 7
This is an early post today – I missed yesterdays as we had problems with our internet – it’s amazing how that brings most of the household to a grinding halt ! Todays card uses Kaisercraft Secret Admirer 6″ pad and matching collectables- this collection was a little different – kaisercraft brought out 2 different collectables packs, one of which was mainly die cut doilies, and its this pack that I used here. I tucked one behind a panel from a piece of 12 x 12 paper, and used the other as abase for my group of martha stewart punched frond leaves, flowers and ribbon, and slid a Prima hat pin behind. This is the last in my kaisercraft secret admirer series, I have put it all away until I can use it with the 6″ pad, which is still elusive!The background paper is a 12 x 12 sheet, and I used some of the collectables to make the bunting and the sentiment. other goodies used here are – flowers, ribbon, perfect pearls and a doily.Very hot day here today, so I am off to make salads for tea! Secret Admirer number 4
Hi all, sorry I missed yesterday, but life got away from me and I ran out of time! Hopefully things settle a bit after Christmas! So today we are still using the same 12 x 12 sheet of paper from Kaisercraft Secret Admirer collection and the matching collectables, and here I have stamped my greeting on the centre of one, and arranged a few to the left of the card. Added some flowers ( kaisercraft) a punched butterfly, pearls and some gorgeously bright pink ribbon.I taught a small class today – too close to christmas for a lot of people – bought some beautiful do- crafts art deco die cuts and paper, and have spent a lovely afternoon creating – just what I needed!
