Kaisercraft Mademoiselle 7..

IMG_0025 (Medium)This one is a favourite because it has everything on it that I love…Lace, pleated ribbon ( stampin up), gorgeous prima flowers, flat backed pearls and mini foilage ( kaisercraft Die). The papers are from the Madamoiselle collection ( 6″ pad) and the butterfly is fussy cut from a piece of 12 x 12 paper from the same range. We had a very busy day at work yesterday with the huge clearance sale, so today is all about catching up with some work around here, visiting Mum for her birthday, and then into the craft room to make some card orders! Til tomorrow…..

Last 2 Kaisercraft Hanami Gardens cards..

IMG_0019 (Medium)IMG_0020 (Medium)I should add for now, because I will revisit this paper collection! Both cards are made with the 6″ pad papers, and the fronts decorated with some of the collecables of the same range. I printed up a special insert for the bottom card that says “wishing you a FANtastic day”…I couldn’t resist the play on words…Very busy at work this week, and I haven’t spent any time in the craft room, but we have a long weekend off for Easter this weekend so I will spend some time in there then! Til tomorrow…

Hanami Garden number 3…

IMG_0010 (Medium)for todays Kaisercraft Hanami garden I used some papers from the 6″ pad, and a collectable ( fan)on which i stuck a black ribbon, but the main thing here is the stamped image which I coloured. The stamp came  as a freebie on a magazine, and came at just the right time for these papers! I coloured  it with Copics, and decorated with a couple of gold sequins. I have been to work, and I am home again now, I have a pot of casserole on the stove which is destined for the freezer, and tonights tea is all prepared, so a bit of free time this afternoon to maybe tidy up the craft room! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Hanami garden

IMG_0006 (Medium)And now for something completely different!I love the rich colours of this paper collection, and it is completely different from what i usually work with. I started off simple with this card, I made a paper fan – something I wanted to do as soon as I saw the paper, and as luck would have it , on my desk was a red tassel, something my sister had given me attached to a present! The rest of the card was just paper and sentiment from the 6 ” pad, and a flower collectable. I used Black cardstock for the base card. It’s cooking and cleaning afternoon here so i had best get on! Til tomorrow….

Finally! The final Ooh La La card! ( 17!)

IMG_2746 (Medium)Here is my last ( I promise…maybe) Kaisercraft Ooh La La card. 17 cards with this paper! This one is the easiest one yet.A piece of 12 x 12 cut apart paper with a bow made from some of the 6″ pad paper. The bow was done with my Stampin Up bow punch. Most of the cards in this series were made when I had injured my shoulder and couldn’t use my die cutting machine,so I really relied on the papers, it was an interesting exercise. Tomorrow i start my new job at Paper Flourish. So looking forward to it, I can’t wait, surrounded by temptation all day!But for today, it’s grocery shopping and quite a hot day so a quiet day inside. Til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Ooh La La 15 and 16..

IMG_2744 (Medium)IMG_2747 (Medium)Two cards today, made with kaisercraft Ooh La La, and some white space.I don’t often leave white space on my cards, but I like these and will experiment with more white space cards in the future. There is a mixture of fussy cut images, and collectables on both cards, with a little ribbon, a lace flower and just a couple of flowers.I spent a lovely afternoon in the craft room yesterday, I did miss crafting while I was away. This afternoon I am popping in there to make Mum and Dad a 61st wedding anniversary card and I have been doing a little tidying as I go too.Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane number 7..

img_2732-mediumWorking with the blue shades from the Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane collection,I came up with this one which uses some dies and punches to make the flower, and a very old button from my collection to highlight the tag. The papers are from the 6″ pad,and I have layered a couple of the pull apart tags inking around all the edges with Tea Dye distress ink.I spent a lovely hour over at Paper Flourish today, browsing, chatting and buying, I bought a few more copic markers as I am trying to build my collection, and picked up some lovely papers from Bo Bunny called Petal Lane ( gorgeous papers in shades of soft pink  and yellow with pops of black) and a new Kaisercraft 6″ paper pad called Hanami Garden which is a Japanese inspired collection. Now I am off to the craft room to create! Til tomorrow….

PS I LOve You number 4

This is the final card ( for now, until I find where I have put the papers!) of Kaisercraft PS I Love You , I have used the 6″ paper pad and matching collectables on this one. I added a couple of Green Tara flowers and inked around the large collectable with some Tea Dye ink for definition. A ribbon bow to finish. I had a lovely day at the Paper Flourish Teachers car park sale, and sold  a lot of bits and pieces that were taking up valuable real estate in my craft wardrobe. I still have a lot of clearing out to do , but I at least I have started! And of course it means more room for new goodies! Til tomorrow….img_0699-medium

Kaisercraft Ooh La La 5..

img_8029-mediumKaisercraft Ooh La La 6″ pad and collectables for this one with a bit of fussy cutting!I did cut a frame using Kaisercraft rectangle dies, and layered up a doily and some collectables with sequins and a ribbon bow to finish. I have spent a lovely relaxing time in the craft room this weekend gathering my strength for this last week of retail before Christmas – really looking forward to my 4 day break at the end of it! til tomorrow….

Hummingbird 4

A very late post tonight, but now I can say I am holidays ! Yay! we are still with kaisercraft hummingbird collection, and I also used the matching collectables, a kaisercraft sparklet, and rhinestones. I die cut the rosette with my cuttlebug and tim holtz sizzix die. This will be the last in the hummingbird series for a little while , I actually found this paper to be quite challenging, and when that happens ( not often thankfully) I find it is best to put it away for a while . Quite often in the meantime I have purchased something – A new die, or stamp etc, which is just what the said difficult paper needs.I am looking forward to 2 weeks of crafting and relaxing… Til tomorrow…..
