Mintay Birdsong 1, 2, and 3…

_MG_0027 (Medium)_MG_0028 (Medium)_MG_0029 (Medium)Todays three cards are made with Mintay Birdsong. Mintay is a polish paper company that i have recently been introduced to, we are using their collections a lot in classes, and I have not yet seen a collection that didn’t inspire me. The papers have lots of fussy cutting elements which is my favourite thing, but the top card has no fussy cutting , just layering of papers and a frame , flowers and flourish to decorate…(I did fussy cut the butterfly…couldn’t help myself). The second and third cards have more fussy cutting as well as some flowers and rose gold flourish die cutting. Tomorrow I am teaching some cards i designed using this paper collection and there is lots  and lots of fussy cutting involved in those cards…the ladies will love it! We will sit, relax, and snip away while we catch up with each others news..I am looking forward to it. Til tomorrow…..

The paper collection is Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden, and here I have used the 12 x 12 papers, and fussy cut the butterfly, fairy, word and frame. The pink backing of the frame is something new – LaCarte paer Bubble – strawberry Mousse. It is a lovely cardstock with a bubble texture – I am a fan…busy in the craft room today setting up some lessons – one lesson down 2 more to go! til tomorrow….

kaisercraft Curiosity collection number 4

IMG_2985 (Medium)I did  quite a bit of fussy cutting on this card – The flowers were fussy cut from a piece 0f the 12 x 12 papers ( all paper is from Kaisercraft curiosity collection) and the have a lovely gloss finish on them.I also fussy cut the butterflies and the border. I layered up a couple of labels from the collectables pack, and added  some lace and ribbon to finish.Taught a lovely class of  ladies today, always nice to finish the working week having fun! til tomorrow….

French Country number 2

IMG_8907 (Medium)I was always going to do something with this image on one of the Graphic 45 french Counrty papers. It’s a lovely picture, so i have matted itwith red cardstock, and fussy cut a rooster to pop on the corner. I used a strip of paper to make into a corner and added a seam binding bow tied with bakers twine and a charm to finish. This one may end up framed on my craft room wall!Had a lovely afternoon cardmaking with one of my most favourite people, and now I am ready to sit and watch a little t.v. with a nice cup of tea! til tomorrow….

Holly Bright 7 and 8

IMG_5366 (Medium)IMG_5367 (Medium)Our internet outage is over for now, so I thought I would post 2 cards today, we have had so many outages lately that I have a backlog of cards to post and I feel we have been on this series for long enough – so here are the last two cards in my Kaisercraft Holly Bright series. The card at the bottom uses a piece of paper from the 6″ pad for the background, a tag from the matching pack of collectables, and a greeting cut from the 12 x 12 paper that has greetings printed all over it. I just added a cream ribbon bow. The card on the top also has a sheet from the paper pad for the background, and I fussy cut the pine garland from  a sheet of 12 x 12 paper, and also the flowers. the greeting is from the pack of collectables.Today in the craft room I have been jumping around from one project to another – too many ideas and not enough time! til tomorrow….

Christmas 2013 prima Lyric number 7

IMG_7718 (Medium)Hi all, sorry I have been missing for the last few days – we have no internet at the moment and apparently it won’t be back until at least tomorrow, but thanks to the wizardry of Nathan I have been able to post this one and hopefully regular service will resume shortly! I didn’t realise how much I relied on the net until now.On to todays card. The paper is Prima Lyric – not made specially for christmas, but I thought the colours worked! A little bit of fussy cutting, bright red ribbon bow and a Stamp It Joyful Christmas stamp and there my first christmas card for the year. Tomorrow, if I am back on line we will move on to something else! Til tomorrow…. hopefully …..

Prima Lyric number 6

IMG_7714 (Medium)Although this Prima Lyric paper isn’t Christmas paper, I did make a few xmas cards from it – the colours and the word Joy just jumped out at me – so I will show them and then we will move on to something else in the next couple of days. Just a bit of fussy cutting on this one – no ribbon or flowers for this card .This beautiful paper doesn’t need any embellishing.Tonight I am off to the craft room to organise my August classes – I have been very lazy this week and haven’t done any crafting in the craft room, but that is set to change! Til tomorrow….
