Kaisercraft Nature Breeze

_MG_1236_MG_1237_MG_1238_MG_1239 (Medium)Four cards this week, made with kaisercraft Nature Breeze. pretty  papers with gorgeous birdlife! Some fussy cutting, but not a piece of ribbon or lace to be seen! I have spent more time outside this week..the sun has been out in the afternoons, and it’s been lovely outside weather. I hope you are all staying safe, til next time….

A Scrap of Kaisercraft..

_MG_1170 (Medium)_MG_1172 (Medium)During the great paper clean up I found just a scrap of a collection. It’s by Kaisercraft but I can’t remember the name of the collection, but I stopped my cleaning and made two quick cards just because I couldn’t bring myself to throw away the scraps. Lots of layers and a bit of fussy cutting, a handmade frame on the lower card and some perfect pearl drops on the top card. I hope you are all coping with isolation, I have had a cold this week so haven’t done very much. I’m feeling a bit better today, so I am heading into the kitchen to make a big pot of soup. Our local greengrocer is doing home deliveries and it’s the highlight of our week to get lovely fresh fruit and vegetables delivered to our door! Til next time, stay safe…..

More Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe..

_MG_1110 (Medium)_MG_1113 (Medium)Two more pretty cards made with graphic 45 Floral shoppe, and the journalling cards that were brought out with this collection. I have done a little fussy cutting, some raising of elements with foam tape, and added lace, ribbon and flowers. This week has been a horrendously hot and humid week, no-one had energy for anything, so not a lot done in the way of crafting. The humidity gets into the paper and everything feels damp! This week is promising to be a little cooler so normal activities can resume!Til next time…..

Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe..

_MG_1107 (Medium)_MG_1109 (Medium)Todays two cards are made with Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe.. lots of fussy cutting and a few pretty flowers .. so easy to work with these pretty papers. This week is still the ongoing job of cleaning out the craft room, I have found the rythmn now… a couple of hours of sorting out papers and a reward of an hour of crafting with found goodies! In between of course I am spending a little time coming up with new classes for my village ladies. Til next time….

Mintay Together..

_MG_1051 (Medium)_MG_1053 (Medium)Two cards today made with Mintay by Carole Together 12 x 12 paper collection. The top card has lots of fussy cutting, and I have just added a few fabric flowers in the lower left corner, as well as a sentiment. The lower card still has a little fussy cut elements, but has more added bits…lace, a chipboard corner ,white die cut leaves, some more flowers, and an extra layer. the chipboard corner blends in better in real life! I have had a lovely crafty week, but now all the cards I have made need inserts as a finishing touch, so that is my job today! Til next time….

Mintay Springtime…

_MG_0227 (Medium)_MG_0248 (Medium)_MG_0250 (Medium)_MG_0251 (Medium) I made these ones using Mintay Springtime paper collection a little while ago, but got sidetracked with Christmas cards so haven’t posted them until now. All I have used on these ones are the papers ( except for the cut apart greeting) . Just a layer or two of the paper and lots and lots of fussy cutting! I love the colours on these ones! Today i have been trying to clear up my desk a little bit. Even I have to admit there are too many bits and pieces on it so it’s time for a proper tidy. I have filed all the dies back in their place and now I am off to sort out the loose flowers and metals. Hopefully i don’t get distracted!..Til next time….

MIntay Bloomville..

IMG_1586IMG_1588IMG_1590IMG_1592I have had the best fun making cards with Mintay Bloomville paper collection.. I have used nothing but the papers and some cardstock and layering for these ones, and lots of fussy cutting! I haven’t done any crafting this weekend – my son is visiting from Sydney and we had a wedding to attend yesterday. It’s been a busy weekend. This week I am officially packing all the Christmas craft supplies back into the craft storage in the shed, finalising the cruise lesson packing, and then can concentrate on my craft fair boxes..I have to sort through them all and see what is needed in them. That’s me sorted for the week! Til next time…..

Stampin Up Santa’s Workshop..

_MG_0220 (Medium)_MG_0221 (Medium)_MG_0222 (Medium)Here are the first Christmas cards for this year! I have used a Stampin Up designer paper collection from last year called Santa’s Workshop, I love it because of the fussy cutting potential. I haven’t bought too much Christmas collections yet this year – I am determined to use up the papers I have ( I think I say that every year!), but I have been working with Prima Christmas in the Country and some gorgeous vintage Stamperia papers this week. The top card has a die cut glittery Christmas tree, and the top and lower card have a layer of embossed white cardstock but other than that its all paper and cardstock.- no ribbon , lace or bling to be seen! Til next time….

Kaisercraft greenhouse 1, 2 and 3..

_MG_0239 (Medium)_MG_0240 (Medium)_MG_0242 (Medium)Three cards today, all made with Kaisercraft greenhouse 6″ paper pad and matching collectables. Nothing else was added to these ones except a tiny bit of bling on the top card, and a gorgeous die cut ( made with Uniquely creative Succulents die) on the middle card. Of course I loved all the fussy cutting potential of these papers!. As my thoughts turn to Christmas cards I am getting itchy fingers to dig out all my xmas dies and stamps, but I am still working on my cruise cards. I have about three weeks of prep to do for them and then look out Christmas here I come!!Til next time…..

Graphic 45 Flutter.

_MG_0198 (Medium)I couldn’t resist making and exploding card when I saw the range of Graphic 45 Flutter..Butterflies everywhere! I have a you tube video on my you tube channel that shows step by step how to make this exploding box which folds down to fit into a normal sized envelope. The link is over there on the right of your screen! I have been crafting a lot this week but its all for the cruise I am teaching on in December. I haven’t had much notice really, and have to prepare 5 classes, but I am so excited to be going on the Vasco Da Gama, and being December this time I can do some Christmas cards! I have lots of other things coming up too, but more of that later! Til Next time,….
