I have left the Simple stories I Am series for now ( we are only halfway through, but time for a change of pace) And todays card is made with the new Bo Bunny collection, which is nature inspired and right up my alley!I used Stampin Up cardstock , and did a little layering and fussy cutting. I hand rolled the flower, and die cut the leaf flourish with a kaisercraft die.Some inking around some of the layers for definition.day off today, so i had my flu shot – hopefully all protected for this year! Yesterday I had a cortisone injection in my hip, which was most painful – don’t believe anyone who says it isn’t!But on th upside I can feel the benefit already, so hopefully that’s me finished with medical appointments for a while. Off to the craft room for some relaxing time..til tomorrow….

Simple Stories I am, 9,10,11,12
More of my Simple Stories I am series .I used the papers, packet of bits and pieces,brads and washi tape. I also added some sequins on the bottom two cards,and a scrap of hessian on one of the top cards.Well this weekend went by far too quickly and we had a lovely day today with all our extended family celebrating my Mums 80th birthday.No crafting this weekend, but a lovely one just the same! Another 4 cards made using Simple Stories I am series of paper and matching bits and pieces.These ones are Bon Voyage and thank you cards.The base cards for all of these are made with Stampin Up Crumb cake cardstock. A busy weekend this weekend, as we prepare for Mums birthday party tomorrow…til tomorrow….
Simple Stories I am, 1,2,3 and 4..
Last month I chose some Simple Stories paper to prepare for Mays class, and before I knew it I had made 10 cards. I couldn’t choose which cards to do for the class, so in May my ladies will be making 10 cards! Anyway, I went back and purchased for myself some more paper, and the matching brads,washi paper tape,packet of bits and pieces,and chipboard pieces, sat down over one weekend ,used it all, and made 32 cards. I love this paper!So easy to create with it. Here are the first 4 cards, we might see a few and take a bit of a break otherwise you may all get thoroughly sick of seeing it!Today I taught a lesson at Paper Flourish, and then headed to the shops to pick up some groceries as the shops are closed on Saturday for Anzac day, , my usual day for shopping.we have a busy weekend coming up as it’s Mums 80th birthday and we are having a big family shindig! Kaisercraft Mix and Match 4,5.
Here are the rest of my creations using kaisercraft Mix and Match collection. I bought the 12 x 12 pack for this collection and it contained a few papers that weren’t available in the loose form, which are the papers I have used on these two cards. the top card was kept very simple as it is for my nephews birthday, ( I fussy cut the banners from a piece of the paper) and the bottom card uses another of the fussy cut butterflies and just a little flower .The sentiments on both cards are by stampin up.Today is a day off for me and as I don’t have a class today the morning has been spent grocery shopping.It’s a bit wet outside here today, so a lovely day to spend an hour or two in the craft room! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Mix and Match 1,2,3.
A few cards today made with Kaisercraft Mix and Match. These papers have a base colour of Craft , with white,red and black.For the top two I die cut some hearts out of hessian and added a button,and for the bottom card I let the papers do all the talking,fussy cutting butterflies and chevrons .There is a sheet in this collection which is covered in gorgeous butterflies. it’s easy to colour them, but I left the ones on this card plain.All stamps and cardstock are from stampin Up. Another 2 cards with old kaisercraft paper….
Here are another 2 cards made with very old Kaisercraft Paper. Again I fussy cut the cake and candles images, and used the rest of the paper for layering. the sentiment stamp is from Stampin Up,stamped twice – once straight onto the paper, and another stamped onto some red paper and cut out. I added kindyglitz and sequins to finish.well, it’s the end of a busy week at work, and a very full and busy class this morning with all my usual lovely ladies, and 3 new ladies new to card making, so I am glad I can relax for the next few days and in between the usual weekend stuff enjoy some quality time in the craft room! old kaisercraft paper…
The first paper I came across when I started the big clean out was this set from kaisercraft -it must have been the first I bought,and it was before kaisercraft started releasing new collections every month and even naming their collections.It had been so long since I saw it, and new ideas for it came thick and fast.I fussy cut all the cakes, and used ribbon,sequins,lace and kindyglitz to decorate. the stamped sentiment is from Stampin up.that’s it for this morning – must get ready for work,it’s all about easter there this week! A bit of stamping…
For a bit of a change, today i am posting a couple of stamped cards, using some recent purchases from Stampin Up. Top card…Stampin Up background papers, and a great new stamp set called Butterfly Basics – lots of different stamps in this set , some great for background work, which I stamped in yellow,stamped the butterfly in pink and punched it out with a matching butterfly punch ( which I have had for a while)and coloured the flower with prismacolour pencils.Bit of lace, ribbon and bling finished that one. The second card… I used a big background stamp from stampin up called Something lacy,stamped some green fronds from Butterfly Basics, and again coloured the flower with prismacolour pencils.stamped and fussy cut the butterfly, added some buttons to the top corner,lace and a border punched with my Martha stewart lace border punch.Must find some time to play a bit more with this set – its so versatile! no crafting so far today, but I will spend an hour or two in the craft room tonight after tea just to wind down after a really busy week! til tomorrow….
