Graphic 45 raining cats and Dogs..this is the third card I made with this image of the girl and her puppy, and I have really stepped it up by cutting a stepper card, adding lots of layers, and fussy cut flowers.A bit of bling and ribbon to finish.Lots of measuring and different sizes of card before I settled on this size, and it will be a lesson in March ( with different papers though)Day off today, and I have made great strides on the order, with only one card left to do.Much cooler here today, and welcome rain as well, so the fires are well under control now. Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 raining Cats and dogs.2 and 3 ..step it up!

For something a little different, I decided to take the same image from Graphic 45 Raining cats and Dogs paper collection, and make three cards ( two shown today and the last one next time) and make a basic card, then step it up for each card. the top card is the first card. Some basic layering ( I like the sketch – will use this again)and this one was quick and easy. For the bottom card ( second in my step it up series) I used the same papers and layout, but added some fussy cut flowers, and a ribbon bow. I will show the third one next time..Very hot here today, have a big order to do but will have to wait til the weather is a bit cooler..Til tomorrow….
graphic 45 raining cats and dogs number 1
I haven’t had a chance to post the few cards I have made with this range of papers from graphic 45 (raining cats and dogs), so I will take the opportunity to start now while we have a break from all cards masculine! I made a stepper card – I find the graphic 45 papers suit these different shaped cards -and layered up papers, as well as a little bit of fussy cutting on the right hand side.Cardstock is stampin up Baja breeze.Til tomorrow….
Echo Park Teenagers 3 and 4

Two cards today, because I don’t think I will get back here tomorrow .. I have a really long day at work getting ready for the back to school sale..always something!… Todays two cards are still made using Echo park teenagers paper collection. as I mentioned before, I only bought a couple of sheets of this collection, but if I see it again I will be buying more as it is so easy to make those difficult teen boy cards with this paper. The bottom card has a bit of fussy cutting, and I layered everything with Stampin up cardstock – tangerine tango and Mossy meadow which matches in perfectly with the colours. For now though, it’s back to the craft room where the decluttering has commenced, although I must admit I get very easily distracted so it could be quite a long job and you may be seeing some cards made with older paper collections in the near future! til tomorrow ….
Echo Park teenagers number 2
Echo Park teenagers paper collection, just a bit of layering and fussy cutting and some corner rounding to add a bit of interest. this one was made for my nephews birthday today, but Nathan pointed out when he photographed it that I had stuck the tv on the front of the card upside down! Oh well we all make mistakes, and it will be interesting to see if my nephew notices! Til tomorrow….
Echo Park teenagers number 1
Still on teen boy type cards, but a different paper company – Echo Park teenagers. I only bought 3 sheets of this paper, but managed to make quite a few cards with them. For this one I used the sheet that had quite a few different images on it, and also fussy cut the banners from another square and added them underneath. Found a good use for a lovely big yellow button, and mounted it all on a card base made with some stampin up cardstock!Til tomorrow……
Kaisercraft off the wall number 2
For the second card in my Kaisercraft off the wall series I have used the 6″paper pad, and the frame is from the pack of matching collectables. I have fussy cut various bits from the papers to make a game screen.Today I have come to the realisation that I may have too much paper in my craft room, and it has become a bit of a fire hazard. I am trying to come to terms with the fact that it may be time to cull. I am thinking of making bundles to sell on my craft stall in June.At the moment just thinking aloud, but I think this is the best way to go. We shall see..I hope all of you have had a lovely Christmas break with family and friends. i am back to work tomorrow, so must go abd get myself organised. Til tomorrow…..
Pink Paislee Bella Rouge paper , stampin up create a cupcake
A mix of paper collection and stamping today. The paper collection is Pink Paislee bella Rouge. I only bought a couple of sheets of this paper,( I liked the colour combination of pink and mustard)and I layered it onto my card front. the flowers were fussy cut from the reverse of one of the sheets. The stamp set is Stampin up Create a cupcake, and I stamped my images onto white scrap cardstock and fussy cut them out. the butterfly was also fussy cut from the reverse of the patterned paper. The sentiment stamp came from the create a cupcake set.I taught my last lesson of the year today, a big group of lovely ladies, and a very enjoyable morning it was too!I have had a relaxing afternoon, but now it’s time to organise dinner, so Til tomorrow…..
Secret Garden and Bloom with hope stamps
Still with the stamped cards, and for this card I used two stamps sets, Stampin up bloom with hope and Secret garden. I stamped the greenery straight on to my card base, and stamped the flowers separately onto scrap white card stock, and coloured in with kaiser fusion markers.I then fussy cut them out and stuck onto the card with foam pads of varying thicknesses. The butterfly is a spellbinders die and I used some liquid pearls for a butterfly trail!Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft tropical Punch 5 and 6

Here are the last two ( for now) cards made with Kaisercraft Tropical Punch.Again I have used the 12 x 12 papers ( so still a whole 6″ pad to use later!)and on the top card matching collectables.Admittedly the bottom card was made with lots of leftover bits on my table! So busy at work just now I haven’t the energy for the craft room, but certainly looking forward to the Christmas break to relax in there!
