Every now and again my ink pads call to me, and I stamp my heart out! This happened the other day with this stamp set from stampin Up. It’s called Papaya Collage, and all the stamped elements on this card ( except the sentiment and script in the background ) came from this set.I layered up a couple of pieces of cardstock, and stamped and fussy cut until I was happy with the result.I added a dove charm, ribbon bow and pearls to finish. Today has been another stamping day – christmas this time -and next week when I am on holidays Nathan and I will do some photoing.Til tomorrow….
The last two Prima Forever Green cards

Here are the last two cards I have made with prima Forever Green paper collection.Bottom card – extras include some lace and prima flower, bakers twine and a bow that I made with the identity strip that runs along the bottom of the 12 x 12 papers. I showed my ladies in a class how to use this piece of paper that we all cut off and sometimes use as border strips, and I must find time to do a bit of a you tube clip to show you all – will organise that when I am on holidays in a couple of weeks. The top card has as extras a string of pearls, stampin up ruffled ribbon a flower, wink of stella brush on parts of the images, and some fussy cutting! I have so enjoyed making cards with this paper because I was able to use so many different colours, and styles. Favourite paper so far this year! No crafting this weekend as i am battling with tennis elbow. Hopefully it gets better soojn cos I am missing my craft room! Til tomorrow…..
prima Forever Green 9 and 10

I feel like I have been posting cards made with this collection ( prima Forever green) for ever! but we will keep going because we are nearly finished, and the cards i managed to make out of this collection are all quite varied and there are a couple coming up that are my absolute favourites!.these two meanwhile use the usual variety of ribbon, flowers and even sequins, and the bottom card has a die cut fairy which I did using a spellbinders die, and I used my wink of stella brush to highlight the wings with a little blingy sheen. The cardstock is as usual stampin up.day off today, so I am off into the card room to get a head start on some orders. til tomorrow….

Here I have layered some Prima forever green patterned paper onto a stampin Up ( calypso coral) card base, and fussy cut another piece from the same sheet for the greeting. A scrap of lace, and flowers, leaf ( which was white but I sprayed it with some fireworks spray) a fussy cut butterfly ( in the colection of papers there is a whole sheet just of butterflies which I fussy cut out) and bakers twine , all from prima gathered in a group at the bottom of the card. The flowers available from prima for this collection are gorgeous, ad I also bought a box of white leaves and the white daisies you see here because I can colour them to match whatever I am working on. Great value!I touched up the flowers with my Wink of Stella brush for a little sheen.Til tomorrow…

In between christmas cards i made some little girl cards last week with a couple of sheets of paper by Echo Park called Princess. Christmas cards using last years leftovers…
I gathered all my Kaisercraft christmas papers from christmas’s past.. ( these included Turtle dove, december 25th,Dear Santa, Tis the Season and twig and Berry) and combined them all. Every one who knows me will tell you this was very hard for me as I always keep my collections separate, and never mix and match!I still won’t mix paper companies. It was not too bad, as most of the collections had very similar colours. Anyway, once that was done I went through the paper pads, and fussy cut, and took out border and labels die cuts that I hadn’t used previously and put these in a separate pile. Next I combined all the collectables into one container, and after all that it was very hard to tell the different collections anyway.First I worked on the wider strips that are left behind when I had covered the original cards and the two cards above are the result of that. I added a collectable to both, some words fussy cut from a nother piece of paper, and some craftworks candii in the top corner of the card on the right.More strip makes tomorrow…. Til tomorrow….
The last Authentique Pretty….
I saved the best for last ( I think anyway – this is my favourite), and I have put this paper away for now while I concentrate on chritmas cards for a little while.I did lots of fussy cutting for this one, and die cut a butterfly – spellbinders – added some rhinestones and a gorgeous satin ribbon.Paper is Authentique Pretty. Early post today as I intend to get some cards done this afternoon before it gets too bitterly cold in the craft room. Til tomorow….
