Authentique Pretty paper collection, mounted onto black cardstock base. I cut a matching strip for the right hand side, and layered a piece of lace onto it, mimicking the cuts at the bottom, and added a little pink bow . On the left I mounted some of the fussy cut paper, and added a butterfly charm threaded with black ribbon. Today i have prepared my september lessons, and have been thinking about christmas cards. I have a day off on Monday,. so will pull out last years left over paper and make a start on using it up so that I don’t feel too guilty when I buy new releases which I know are on the way and I won’t be able to resist! Til tomorrow….

Authentique Pretty number 1
I bought a few sheets of this patterned paper by Athentique. The range is called Pretty, and yes, it is! I fussy cut the flowers from one sheet, and i have used some of them on this card. I have used some stampin up cardstock, used another piece of paper for the background, and added some black lace, gorgeous satin pink ribbon, and kindyglitz on the flowers. the butterfly was punched with a Martha Stewart punch, and I added a bit of a rhinestone strip.Til tomorrow…..
Stampin Up Beau Chateau
I have spent a lot of my time in the last few days searching for some paper that I thought I had bought( haven’t found it yet, and am fast running out of places to search!) and in my searching have found lots of other forgotten papers that have gone in and out of fashion, and are back in now and will benefit from being used with some new dies and embossing folders that I have bought in the meantime, so next on my list is to use up these papers. First up is this card, made with Stampin Up Beau Chateau, which is a retired paper, but I have rejuvenated it with some fussy cutting, and cutting a banner. The sentiment stamp is from Stampin Up Vintage verses, and I used 2 different kinds of ribbon on the card as well.Taught a lovely group of ladies this morning – we had a great time.. nothing better than card making when the weather outside is so cold! Graphic 45 By the Sea number 2
Graphic 45 By the Sea, number 1
Sorry I was missing last night – we had no power… Nathan said it went off at 1pm, and it didn’t come back on until close to 8 o’clock in the evening, so we sat in the dark, and were quite cold until then! It was a very late dinner last night!Todays card is Graphic 45 By the sea patterned paper, and a fussy cut quite a few images . I mounted the lighthouse on some stampin up real red cardstock, and used a little of the trim from the same paper down the right hand side. This paper is out on my craft desk at the moment, as I was planning to make some more cards with it, but I have a few orders to complete, so will have to pack it up again! til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Storyteller number 9
Today we are revisiting Kaisercraft Storyteller patterned paper, with a card that I designed for one of my classes last month. I cut the top third off the front of a square card blank, and layered some paper on the back piece, then covered the front piece, and fussy cut the piece of 12 x 12 paper that had the clock image on it to layer on top. In between these layers I placed a die cut ( couture creations cameo set die) and added a ribbon bow and perfect pearls.A short shift at work today, so I have spent an hour or so in the craft room clearing up some unfinished projects, and all ready for a full day in there tomorrow.. can’t wait! til tomorrow…..
Simple Stories – teen boy card
While on the theme of all things male, here is a quick card I made using Simple Stories patterned paper and some stampin up cardstock.A bit of fussy cutting of the elements from the papers, and just layered it all together – a very quick and easy card as everything is there for you on the papers! Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 Botanical Tea number 12
I found a couple of graphic 45 Botanical Tea cards that I haven’t posted yet, and nathan and I haven’t done any photo-ing since we have been back from holidays, time just runs away just now, so I thought I would show these in the mean time, until we find a morning to get the camera out. I have layered two pieces of the patterned paper, and used some very slim strips to act as a frame, fussy cut the tea pot and flowers, and butterfly and added a ribbon bow ( as I tend to do!) and some kindyglitz and rhinestones to finish. I have lots of papers I havent created with yet so I am hoping to get into the craft room this weekend if it’s not too cold – it’s a miserable day here today, so it’s not looking good for the weekend! Til tomorrow….
