I found some lovely vintage paper that I had to have, it’s called Magnolia lane and the paper company is Ultimate Crafts.I have been a bit time poor for crafting lately but I did find a spare 1/2 hour to cut into this gorgeous paper. I also bought the matching collectables, and really the papers don’t need much else. Here is the first one , I made it in a gatefold style and decorated the inside as well as the outside.Inked all my edges with tea dye distress ink and the cardstock is from Stampin Up.My Body is protesting at being back at work, my muscles are a wee bit sore, so I am off to fill the hot water bottle and treat my back to some heat! Til tomorrow….
Another Mothers day card, this time using kaisercrafts new release paper Cottage Rose. This is my kind of paper, and for this gatefold card I have used the 6″ pad. The panel on the front is from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper, and I have used Prima flowers to decorate. I have included 2 photos so that you can see ( sort of) how I decorated the inside panel as well. All the little leaves and twiggy branches were die cut with a great new die from kaisercraft – I love it, and all my scrap green papers are now die cut with it and stored in a container on my desk so that I always have foilage at my fingertips! Today is Village lesson day, so I must head to the craft room to get all my gear together, and remind myself what we are making- tomorrow I will post pictures of the cards the ladies created.Til tomorrow….
For this second card using Kaisercraft Lavender haze paper and collectables and Stampin Up Labels dies I have made a gatefold card, and decorated the inside of the card as well. The bright pink cardstock is Stampin Up Melon Mambo, and I added some kaisercraft rhinestones for a bit of bling. Well the weekend is here and I am looking forward to a bit of a rest, and some playing in the craft room! Til tomorrow….
