Stampin Up A kind word…

Although we have finished our sketch series, I still had a fair amount of American Crafts neapolitan paper left, and so created this card, with a stamp I have had for a long time, but rarely inked. I wanted to practise my colouring with tim holtz distress inks, and I am pleased with this first attempt, but don’t look too closely! The stamp is from Stampin Up – A kind word set, and I teamed it with stampin Up cardstock – tangerine Tango and a bit of ribbon and Kaisercraft Rhinestones to complete. I hope to spend a little time in the craft room ( or studio as Nathan calls it and I must admit I like the sound of that description!) tonight as my back appears to have mended itself… Til tomorrow….

stamped Lil Primrose

I do like stamping – I just don’t do it very often because the papers take over! I particularly like stamps that I can use in a way that combines stamping with my love of fussy cutting so when I saw this little girl stamp from Kaisercrafts new range Lil Primrose I thought this is the stamp for me! I stamped her 3 times on to different scrap pieces of Kaisercraft Lil primrose 6″ paper pad, and cut out elements from each one to make up the whole – no colouring! All theother papers on the card are from the same range, I fussy cut the flowers down the bottom and added a little liquid pearls to the centres, and added a ribbon bow. The cardstock is Stampin Up Blushing Bride. I have spent some time in the craft room today and am heading back in there now…. Til tomorrow….

Sidewalk 2

Yesterday was the boy version, and today is the girly version….. Using October Afternoon 8×8 paper pad and matching miscellany pack. After posting lasts nights card I went into the craft room and pulled this paper out again to play a bit more with it. The only other thing I added to this one was the ribbon.A late post today, I have to go and organise something for tea, and if I leave it much later it will be breakfast time!
