Go Press and Foil Card

I am back from my cruise and the time has just flown by! We had a very rough crossing to Tasmania, luckily I didn’t suffer from seasickness but many people did. I had full classes though, and met some lovely ladies, and a few gentlemen!Once we arrived in Tasmania the weather was lovely and cool, a welcome change from here in Adelaide. I have come back to the heat and really will be glad when the cooler weather arrives. Todays card is a card i made using lots of elements foiled with my Go Press and Foil machine ( couture creations). There is a bit of embossing with folders from Kaisercraft just using my big shot die machine, then onto the foiling…. The wooden Rose is by Kaisercraft, the Happy Birthday is chipboard by Dusty attic, and both are foiled with deep red foil through the go press. The oval is also foiled and it is a couture creations stamp, specifically made for the foil machine. I finished my card off with a little bling and a ribbon bow. Til tomorrow…..

go press and foil idea..

_MG_1972 (Medium)Hi! Todays card relies totally on the Go Press and Foil! I had done so much experimenting with my new machine I had a table covered with lots of foiled bits and pieces and had no choice but to sit down and use some of them up on cards!! The framed background is and Anna Griffin foil stamp die by couture creations, and the Birthday wishes sentiment is an Ultimate Crafts hotfoil stamp.I added die cut leaves, and flowers and the butterfly in the corner was from Kaisercraft lilac whisper collectables which must have been on my craft desk at the time! I finished work early today and have taken some crafty things into the dining room to sit at for a while because finally the sun is out and streaming in the window. I have spent a lovely half hour sitting outside warming up and eating my lunch! til tomorrow…..

A card with my Go Press and Foil machine…

_MG_9098 (Medium)As you all know , I purchased a Go Press and Foil machine and have been practising with it. The upshot is I have a lot of foiled bits and pieces waiting to be made into cards! I sat down the other day and made a few, this is the first one…Stampin Up cardstock ( watermelon wonder I believe) for the card base, and theĀ  Go Press and foils stamps for the ornate embossed background and the sentiment. some ribbon, a hand coiled flower ( also on my desk waiting for a project) some die cut greenery and flowers from Iamroses website. i have a few hours to myself today, so i am heading into the craft room with no plan..just going to see where the inspiration takes me! Til tomorrow….
