My second Kaisercraft Ooh La La cards, still using the papers from the 6″ pad for the background layers – they were the leftover pieces from the first card..and the inner layer is from a sheet of 12 a 12 paper, as is the flower which I fussy cut.kaisercraft pearls, ribbon and a sentiment from the sheet in the class kit from Paper Flourish to finish.I am going to venture into the craft room this morning for an hour, no die cutting, but I will see if I can make at least one simple card ..it’s that or go crazy!! Til tomorrow…..

Kaisecraft Ooh La La..!.
This is the first card I made with kaisercraft Ooh La La paper collection. I love this collection and bought the Paper Flourish Class in a box because it had all the 12 x 12 papers as well as a lot of other bits and pieces that match in with the papers. I also purchased the 6″ pad and another pack of collectables to extend the set.I am so glad I did because it’s the only collection I have been able to use in my craft room while I am not able to use my shoulder. I haven’t needed to do any die cutting as there is enough in the collection to keep things interesting. Anyway this one uses papers from the 6″ pad,a sentiment and ric rac from the box,and some punched leaves and flowers from Kaisercraft and Green Tara.Til tomorrow….
Another Mens card
I made this card for an order..I die cut an oval and using the waste part I inked through it onto the base card with green and blue inks. I stamped a stampin up cricket set onto various scraps of cardstock and fussy cut the images, and stuck them onto the base card . I kept it all very simple as that is what my customer wanted, and I really like this one!Back to work this week after my holidays, and taking things very easy with my shoulder! til tomorrow….
Second village card
This card is the second village card I made with the ladies a couple of weeks ago.The cardstock is Stampin up, and the glitter die cut is a kaisercraft die and kaisercraft gliter card. The Merry Christmas and the pointsetta dies are Kaisercraft.I backed the glitter flourish circle with a plain die cut circle, and scattered a bit of bling. I have ventured into the craft room today, die cutting is out of the question, but the lure of so many new papers that I haven’t been able to play with is too much! I am creating with Kaisercraft Ooh La la, – I bought a class in a box from paper Flouirsh and there are enough bits and pieces in the box that I don’t need to die cut anything so it’s all good. A quick card..

While I had the Kaisercraft true Romance papers out practising my pleating skills I made a very quick card to pop in the box ready for next year(!),I know but I go where the inspiration leads me..Just two pieces of layered paper , inked around the edges with tea dye ink,a fussy cut flower, and one of the tags that came with the collection.A bow to tie in the colours of the butterfly and bird, and the little doily under the tag and this was a very quick make.I am still nursing my sore shoulder, off to the Dr shortly because it has to be better before I fly over to Sydney at the end of the week to visit my son who works over there!Til tomorrow….

October Afternoon Farm Girl number 1 and 2
I loved working with this new paper from October Afternoon, called farm Girl. The images on one of the 12 x 12 sheets of paper were crying out to be fussy cut, ( that is the little girl with an assortment of animals) and the other papers in the collection are gorgeous and bright. I used a Martha stewart punch,Bakers twine, flower rhinestones, and ric rac ( which I found in my Late grans sewing bits and pieces). in Particular the ric rac and bakers twine go perfectly with this paper.I fussy cut a few flowers from another piece of paper in the collection to finish. This was such an easy collection to work with – I made a lot of cards all in one sitting, and for once had no bits of papers left over ! Til tomorrow….
All stampin Up nature card
Todays card is a favourite. I lean towards nature inspired cards when I am making cards just for fun, and this one is no exception. The designer paper is from Stampin up – it’s a retired collection, but I bought up big when it was available because I fell in love with it!Cardstock is stampin up early espresso and very vanilla, and I used my stampin up designer frames embossing folder and labels collection framelits. I punched out the centre of the embossed oval with an oval punch, and stamped an image from Stampin up organic grace stamp set to set behind the resulting frame.a little linen twine and a stamped and cut out butterfly finished off this one.I have completed a card order today, and now I am starting to organise my january classes, which will be here before I know it! Card made with scraps and dies..
here is a card made with paper of an unknown origin, it was in my scrap box – I am tempted to say it’s crate paper, but it could well be Stampin Up – maybe someone could help me with that…anyway, I used a spellbinders border die to cut the zig zag, and Stampin Up blossom party die, just using one of the flower heads for the flowers. Decorated with some stampin up buttons, and martha stewart butterfly punch, and the sentiment is from a stampin up set. This is a really simple design for a quick card, and I love it’s simplicity, not to mention the colours – I will be trying this one again! I have been organising myself for my lesson over at the village tonight, and I have also spent a little time planning all my January lessons – I am getting ahead of myself! Til tomorrow….
Crate paper Little Boy Blue 8
This is the last in my Crate Paper little Boy Blue series. Tomorrow we will move on – possibly more christmas! Buttons and bakers twine were added.Handily enough the paper was printed with the word baby which I cut into a banner. The tags were also printed on the paper, so it was just a matter of cutting them out and layering onto each other. It has been a day of finishing off projects in the craft room, and tomorrow I look forward to a full day with no interruptions in there working on some new designs. Til tomorrow…
