Couture Creations C’est la Vie..

_MG_9393 (Medium) Before I went Cruising I bought some papers, dies and embossing folders by couture creations from their Cest La vie range. I didn’t get much time to play with all my new buys, but did manage  a few quick makes. This card was the first one ..I think you can always tell my first card made from any range as it’s always quite simple and it is really just a testing out of how the colours work together. I added some lace and twill ribbon and one of my gorgeous resin frames which are getting very few in number..If anyone knows where I can get more of these please let me know!Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft High tea 5..

Kaisercraft high Tea..this time the 6″ pad, and another of those gorgeous resin frames which I backed with a scrap of patterned paper and added a punched butterfly to. Lots of ribbon and lace, and some liquid pearls for texture. The sentiment was in the 6″ pad. Yesterday was a productive day in the craft room, I finished off a couple of projects, came up with a couple of designs for the cruise cards, and did a couple of cards for a challenge which I needed for todays crafty meeting with friends. The challenge was Autumn so I am interested to see what everyone else has come up with. Til tomorrow….

The top card has a piece of paper from the 6 ” pad as a base layer, and a few of the collectables placed inbetween the printed images, with some gold and some black ribbon and gold sequins to finish. The lower card was very simple – layers of paper from the 6 ” pad, with a collectable as the focal image. The sentiment is also from the 6″ pad. Today i am playing with gorgeous blue butterflies from the new kaisercraft collection called Indigo Skies. I only bought 3 of the 12 x 12 sheets from this range, but I am getting my moneys worth, and have done a few different things with it . At the moment I am decorating a photo frame, something i havent done before so we will see how that works out! til tomorrow….
