kaisercraft silver bells, 17,18,19,20,21 and 22!

IMG_2966 (Medium)IMG_2967 (Medium)IMG_2968 (Medium)We have come back to kaisercraft Silver Bells paper colection because I know quite a few of my lovely followers have bought this collection and are enjoying seeing my creations with it. Six cards today, 3 more tomorrow and we will finally say goodbye to this one!these ones are all made from the 12 x 12 papers, collectables, and the only extra is ribbon.(Oh, there may be a little paper from the 6″ pad too, but it would be easy to substitute 12 x 12 papers).I have moved on from christmas cards for the moment, and I am playing with the new collection from Kaisercraft called sail away. It is great for male themed cards and the colours are beautiful clear red, and blue. I also bought a few of the new dies that tie in with this collection. I find I have become a little addicted to the kaisercraft dies because they cut so cleanly through my big shot machine. yesterday I spent a little time just die cutting anchors, chains and lighthouses so that I have a nice collection on the craft table, and don’t have to spend time getting up and down to die cut.Looking forward to a nice crafty session as long as my back holds out – in a bit of pain and off now to find the hot water bottle! til tomorrow….

5 christmas cards with a white theme….

IMG_2892 (Medium)IMG_2894 (Medium)IMG_2895 (Medium)IMG_2896 (Medium)IMG_2897 (Medium)The one thing all of todays’ cards have in common is the colour white!Bits and pieces used from the top – Kaisercraft reideer die ( with some glitter cardstock) and stampin up woodland embossing folder(new favourite folder), the next two are very similar, swiss dots folder on one, and kaisercraft dots folder on the other, the image is a couple of stamps from one of my stampin up christmas sets.4th card is a one layer card  all done with stampin up Berry Merry stamp set and this one was directly copied from the stampin up catalogue. And last but not least the bottom card is spellbinders bauble dies, and kaisercraft merry christmas die again die cut with glitter cardstock.I think the bottom card needs a piece of embossed cardstock behind the baubles but this one was for an order which specified very simple.Sorry for posting so many today, but if we don’t start making our way through all my christmas card makes we will be still looking at them at Easter!! Today has been a lovely day – my Birthday, and Nathan and I went over to the shops this morning – first food shopping,( the butcher told me it was one of his staffs’ birthday, I wished my birthday buddy happy birthday and got a nice discount on my meat order!) and once that was done we had a meander through the shops, I bought  a new handbag and book ( birthday money yeah!) and we had some lunch.Lovely day. til tomorrow…..

The other 3 kaszazz christmas cards

IMG_2882 (Medium)IMG_2883 (Medium)IMG_2884 (Medium)Here are the other 3 cards I made with a sheet of  Kaszazz christmas images. again I used whatever was at hand, which also included a bit of kaisercraft bits and bobs , I realise as I look at them now…I am enjoying my holidays, have done a little spring cleaning, a lot of relaxing and have spent a little time in the craft room too. I have made a few wedding cards, for a change but I am back to Christmas – I keep threatening to pack all the christmas  stuff away, but then ideas and inspiration strike so I will keep it out for a little while longer. Til tomorrow…..

Kaszazz vintage christmas paper

IMG_2879 (Medium)IMG_2880 (Medium)IMG_2881 (Medium)I am procrastinating today, I have been preparing a December lesson, but something is not going my way, so I have taken a break, and hopefully when I return to the craft room all will fall into place! Todays cards ( and rtomorrow too) are all made from a sheet of vitage images that I purchased from Kaszazz. I really made these ones with whatever was laying on my table, so bits of die cuts, flowers, lace, ribbon bling and punched leaves, scraps of paper. a great way to clear my table, and I like the vintage feel to these ones. Til tomorrow….

kaisercraft Holy night 1,2,3.

IMG_2876 (Medium)IMG_2877 (Medium)IMG_2878 (Medium)Three cards today all made with kaisercraft Holy Night. I don’t think I purchased any of this collection, so I think these 3 cards are made with scraps that I had left on my table after creating a class, as I know I did teach a class with this collection a couple of months ago.So, they would be made with the 12 x 12  papers from the collection, and the greeti9ng on the bottom card is die cut using a kaisercraft die. I had a quick drive over to Paper Flourish this afternoon, and picked up some supplies for decembers lessons, prepared one class, and only one more to do, but tomorrow after the class I am taking I will come home and make a wedding card for an upcoming celebration, all for now…. til tomorrow…..

kaisercraft silver bells 14,15,16..Not Christmas!!

IMG_2870 (Medium)IMG_2872 (Medium)IMG_2873 (Medium)Kaisercraft silver Bells collection – 6″ pad and matching collectables. There were some bits and pieces in this collection which made lovely female birthday cards , made a change from christmas!!here are three of my non christmas cards .Lots of ribbon and lace and teamed with grey cardstock, because I do love pink and grey!   We are going to take a break from the silver bells collection, although I have so many more to show I think I will put them all up in one post later on down the track, because I have been busy with other collections  as well, and it will be Easter before we get through them all!! Today I have been busy making more christmas cards for an order I received last night for 50 xmas cards. it’s all done now, and honestly I feel like packing up the xmas bits and pieces and moving on, but Mum tells me it’s too early to do that.I think I have done 300 cards this year already. Tomorrow I will work on some mens cards I think just for something completely different and on Monday I am sitting in on a class to learn some new techniques..so excited to be the student.. can’t wait! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft silver bells 11,12,13, gatefold.

IMG_2864 (Medium)IMG_2867 (Medium)IMG_2868 (Medium)Kaisercraft silver bells, and these ones are a gatefold design – just using an a5 piece of cardstock ( 21 cm x 15 cms) fold the outer edges into the middle, easy to do and a really nice change from the standard fold of card. I have made good use of the 12 x 12 sheet of kaisercraft silver bells card front images, and fussy cut some baubles from another piece of 12 x 12 paper to decorate the other side of the card front. Inside is also decorated with paper. Ribbon and bow  to finish off the bauble. These cards are based on a class I taught earlier this month.Day off today, and I am going to get my eyes tested, and maybe a little retail therapy as well! til tomorrow….

graphic 45 Le’Amour

IMG_2939 (Medium)IMG_2941 (Medium)IMG_2940 (Medium)I thought as I had shown a card I made for the wedding with Graphic 45 Le’Amour I would finish the series off, as we have a few christmas cards to get through!.The top two cards are side stepper cards ( Youtube video on the way) and all the cards have fussy cutting, ribbon and lace. Love this collection and will get back to it once the christmas cards are finished , which should be by this time next week! Just a quick post this morning as I have to get off to work, til tomorrow…..

graphic 45 Le’Amour wedding card

IMG_2942 (Medium)Yesterday we attended the wedding of some friends, ( it was lovely), and I made this special card for them. The paper collection is Graphic 45 Le’Amour, and I did some fussy cutting and layering, and used one of the journalling cards from the same collection at the base of the card. The Bee in the heart up in the top corner is there because one half of the couple is called Bea, and I thought it added a very personal touch! she can take it off the card and keep it as a memento of the day if she wants. Til tomorrow…..

Authentique devoted 21st card

IMG_2950 (Medium)Anoher card made from Authentique devoted patterned paper, this time it was for my sons girlfriends 21st birthday. The cardstock is from stampin up, and I added a row of lace and pleated ribbon, and a bow at the bottom of the card, and a key at the top. We have a wedding today, in the botanic gardens which should be lovely as its a perfect day here, and then off to the town hall for the reception. Looking forward to the day, I must go and prepare myself! til tomorrow…..
