I made 6 Easel cards with lemoncraft Yuletide collection, I will show the other 3 next time…Most of the extra bits I added were already on my craft desk, The middle card has a frame I made with a mold and gap filler ( from the hardware shop) and painted with prima alchemy paints. the bottom card has as it’s stopper a Christmas tree decoration which I rubbed with some Nuvo copper mousse to give it a bit of shine. other than a bit of ribbon and lace the rest was various papers from the collection and a little fussy cutting. Today is my day off, and it is really hot here (35C) . Nathan and I have been grocery shopping, it’s all put away and we are exhausted! I doubt today will be a crafty day, maybe a good day to write out my Christmas cards! Til tomorrow….

Lemoncraft yuletide continued…
Sorry I have been missing , but we had a computer hiccup here this week, and thank goodness it is fixed now with no loss of files! Today we are continuing on with Lemoncraft yuletide collection, which is perfect for vintage style cards.I did a bit of layering with bits of offcuts on these two, and added a ribbon to the left and a ribbon and a flourish that I made with a silicone mold and gap filler (!) and painted with prima alchemy paint.meanwhile i have finished my January lessons and have a couple of new stamp sets on my desk to play with. I have to make two male birthday cards and one of the stamp sets is perfect for both boys so that will be first on the agenda! Til tomorrow…..
More Vintage Lemoncraft Yuletide..

It is still Lemoncraft yuletide designer paper collection on my blog today, lots of matting, and using little leftover scraps as banners, a bit of fussy cutting and not too much more embellishing required, just bits of gold thread, and ribbon. The bottom card had a doily and a foiled chipboard pinecone as well. Everything is inked with tea Dye distress ink. Today is my craft and chat group so I am off to get some projects sorted although more chat than craft takes place! Til tomorrow….
Lemoncraft Yuletide paper collection..

Today we are embracing vintage with this collection from Lemoncraft called Yuletide. I have added a few interesting bits and pieces to these cards – The top card has a flourish i made with a mold and some painters caulk, and then painted with prima Alchemy paints,. I also foiled a small chipboard piece, and added some gold thread and a pearl and all my edges were inked with Tea dye distress ink. The bottom card has more of the molds I made and painted gold, a ribbon and a bit of a die cut I had lying on my desk! I have just finished working a very long two weeks with just a couple of days off, so not much time for crafting as I have been catching up on housework today, but things should get back to normal now..and it’s time for me to be thinking of my January lessons – wow the new year already! til tomorrow….
Stampin Up Santas Workshop..

Here are some more fun Christmas cards I have made with Stampin Up Santas workshop collection. I have added the bare minimum of embellishing to this group of cards, the papers are already embossed and / or glittered, and I have just fussy cut extra layers for some 3 D effects. I have finished my Christmas makes for this year,( but have so many more to show you ) and normally at this stage I pack up all the Christmas for next year, but this paper is staying out and I will continue to make cards with it throughout the year, it is so much fun to work with! Til tomorrow……
Stampin Up Christmas 2018..

Todays Christmas cards use all Stampin Up supplies from their seasonal catalogue. I have used the chicken wire, washi tape, ribbon, and stamps ( stamp set is called Joy and Noel, and I coloured with Copic markers) and the corregated pieces behind are embossed with Stampin Ups new corregated embossing folder..this will be a favourite used all year round! It has been a busy week with work, and at home I have moved my craft room so that my second son can move back home for a short while, as he relocates from Sydney back to Adelaide for work. It was an eye opener to move that craft room and realise how much supplies I have gathered over the years. Time to start using all of it! Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes 13, 14, and 15….

Today we are back to Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes paper collection. The top card has some matching collectables, and the lower 2 cards just rely on the papers within the collection. The bottom card has a Seven Paper Dolls resin frame which I painted with Prima Alchemy paints.Today is a working day at home while I plan out my december lessons, so I must get started! Mintay Christmas Stories…3 and 4..

Here are the other two Mintay Christmas Stories cards I made before I got distracted by other equally beautiful Christmas papers! I did a lot of fussy cutting here, and didn’t add too much more – just a little bling and sparkle! This week has been very busy at work, I haven’t had any home time to craft, and working tomorrow as well so not looking good for weekend crafting either..never mind I am sure I will make up for that next week! Mintay Christmas Stories vintage style 1,2..

We are taking a short break from kaisercraft Chrismas Wishes to have a look at a few cards I made with MIntay Christmas Wishes collection. This beautiful Christmas collection is very much styled for shabby chic and vintage card makes. On both cards I have just added a doily and some twine. Nothing else was needed here. I distressed all my edges on the top card and inked with tea Dye ink. I did a little fussy cutting on the lower card but that was it – very simple! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes 10,11,12..

I can’t say it often enough..this collection of papers and collectables ( kaisercraft Christmas Wishes) is so easy to use, and only requires a ribbon bow or a bit of glitter to finish the cards, as you can see in these most recent cards. The top card is particularly interesting. The background layer was a sheet from the 6′ pad which I ran over with a distress ink pad, then wiped off, and the words appeared as if by magic!! It has a gloss finish. I think all the embellishments on these three cards are from the collectables pack, so no fussy cutting to do, and all background papers were from the 6″ pad. Day off today, I have intentions of practising my freehand watercolouring after I have done some paperwork…til tomorrow….
