I Die cut and ornate circle ( Paper Rose) and a circle from patterned paper, and added a gorgeous soft pink ribbon bow. I am working tonight,so I have spent this morning sorting through my embossing folders, removing them from their packaging for easier storage…the aim is to make a little room in the craft room because on Wednesday I buy my Go Press Foiling machine and I need some room for it. I cannot wait to get it..everything within sight including all that chipboard I have and don’ Til tomorrow….t know what to do with is going to be foiled!

Kaisercraft High tea 5..

Kaisercraft high Tea..this time the 6″ pad, and another of those gorgeous resin frames which I backed with a scrap of patterned paper and added a punched butterfly to. Lots of ribbon and lace, and some liquid pearls for texture. The sentiment was in the 6″ pad. Yesterday was a productive day in the craft room, I finished off a couple of projects, came up with a couple of designs for the cruise cards, and did a couple of cards for a challenge which I needed for todays crafty meeting with friends. The challenge was Autumn so I am interested to see what everyone else has come up with. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft High Tea 4..
continuing on with Kaisercraft High Tea,combined with a paper Rose die. The die is a corner die, but i angled it a little differently on the card to half frame the image I fussy cut from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper.Another piece cut from some 12 x 12 paper from the collection was used as the bottom layer. The sentiment is a kaisercraft die, and I embellished with pearls, a ribbon bow, and a punched butterfly. I have had a busy week, lots of lovely new things coming into the shop, and today is going to be dedicated to creating in the craft room!Til tomorrow…
Kaisercraft High Tea number 3….
Kaisercraft high Tea Collection, and for this card I have used some of the 12 x 12 papers. The tea cup is die cut from a spellbinders die, and the strip across the tea cup came from the matching sticker sheet. The sentiment is from the 6″ pad, and I added some lace, ribbon and a bow. The pink bracket layer is actually traced from a piece shaped like that in the 6″ pad. I finished work early today, so I am debating whether to do some Christmas die cutting… I have lots of other paper collections I haven’t used yet, but my mind keeps drifting to Christmas , it would be nice to have a bit of a head start… Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft High Tea number 2…
Kaisercraft high Tea collection… this one has a corner of one of the 12 x 12 papers covering the whole card blank, and one of my resin frames with a matching tag ( from the 6″ pad) trimmed and stuck underneath it, along with a tiny scrap of lace ( to match the doily print in the diagonal corner) and a ribbon bow. Liquid pearls in the top corner and some kindyglitz on the cups to finish, this one was deceptively simple. I must say all the cards in this range sold at the craft fair, luckily I still have a lot of this collection left so I will be making more in the coming months! Roast is in the oven, housework and shopping list done so after lunch I will be in the craft room if anyone wants me…til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft High Tea number 1 ….
Today I am starting a new card series, using Kaisercraft High Tea collection. I love this paper collection, and have made a lot of cards with it, so we may have a bit of a break half way through..This first card has a layer of paper from the 6″ pad on top of a pink card base. I have some resin frames bought very cheaply, and I can’t get them any more, but they are perfect for cards as they are very lightweight. You will see them featured on future cards. I used a sentiment from the same pad, and stuck it behind the frame,it fitted perfectly! I die cut a circle from some more patterned paper from the pad, and the two die cuts I used before decorating with assorted flowers were memory box lorelia leaf and Paper Rose ornate circle. The weekend is here and I am so looking forward to relaxing in the craft room after all my house work is done! Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 portrait of a Lady number 5…
I have the morning off today as I am teaching tonight,so I thought I would post the last of my Graphic 45 Portrait of a Lady cards ( for now, of course I will come back to this paper at a later date!) Today’s card has a black card base, and the image is fussy cut from one of the 12 x 12 papers. There is a bundle of assorted flowers and punched leaves in the bottom corner. This one was a quick and easy card to put together, and sold at the craft fair along with all the other cards in this series. I had a lovely three days at the craft fair, catching up with like minded crafters, buying some supplies such as lace, and selling a lot of the cards I have made over the last year. This is great because i can start filling my boxes all over again for next year! Til tomorrow…..

Graphic 45 Portrait of a lady 3…
Todays card is a fold I have been practising, and I will be teaching it next month, so I thought i had better get to grips with it myself! IÂ Â like it a lot and so you will see it pop up now and again, and once everything has quietened down here i will get Nathan to help me do a youtube clip to show you all how to make it. The paper collection here is Graphic 45 Portrait of a Lady, and I just added some flowers and greenery, a ribbon bow to decorate. Posts will be a little sporadic over the next week, until my craft fair is over, but I will post when I can, Til then ….
Graphic 45 Portrait of a lady….(2)
On my desk was some very thick acetate from packaging and it was perfect to make this card. I took a square blank card and chopped a large piece from the front middle section, and replaced it with the acetate, keeping cardstock at the bottom of the card for weight and balance.( I attached lace to this piece). The rest of the card was decorated with various pieces of patterned paper from the Graphic 45 range.. Portrait of a Lady. The front image was attached behind the acetate with very small glue dots. Although they are just visible they are not too noticable. I added lots of flowers and some punched greenery in the left corner. This is a favourite card and will be hard to sell! Today is going to be a day spent in the craft room, I haven’t had much time to get in there and just create lately so I am looking forward to it! til tomorrow…..
