Still with kaisercraft Peek-a-boo, but the pink version. Girl baby card today, and here I have used the 6″ pad ( which is a mix of pink and blue papers) for the background layer, and some matching collectables. The “Baby” was die cut with Kaisecraft die and inked around with tea dye ink to make it stand out a little from the pinkness of the papers. ribbon and delicate lace to finish! Housework is done, roast is in the oven so now it’s time to craft! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Peek-a boo 3..
For my last Baby boy Kaisercraft Peek- a- boo card I have made a gatefold card, decorated with 12 x 12 papers and matching collectables.I added some vintage ric rac and a button for a little texture, and this was a very simple card to put together. Next time we will start on the pink cards! I haven’t had much time in the craft room lately what with the shoulder injury and what little cardmaking I have managed to do has been setting up the Cruise cards ( nearly done and just as well as its just a matter of weeks now!) and lesson set ups. Tomorrow I finish this months village lesson and hopefully have an hour or to to experiment with new things! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Peek a Boo.

The Kaisercraft Peek a Boo paper collection comes in two parts, you can purchase pink or blue, great idea, but I had to have both! I have made a few cards from both colourways and we will start with the blue. For the top card I used 2 pieces from the 6 ” pad and punched a border on one of the pieces. The tag is from the pack of collectables, and I used Kaisercraft die to die cut the pram. The chipboard piece is also from a kaisercraft pack.Butons ,ric rac and a ribbon bow to finish that one. The second card also has two pieces of patterned paper to cover the base card ( from the 12 x 12 papers) and I fussy cut the pram from another piece of the 12 x 12 paper. I fussy cut the word baby from a 12 x 12 paper and die cut Boy using a kaisercraft die. Again a chipboard piece, ribbon bow and buttons to finish. I am off to teach a class this morning, looking forward to seeing my ladies as I had to miss my december class due to the whole shoulder injury thing which is improving now but still not 100% yet! PS I LOve You number 4
This is the final card ( for now, until I find where I have put the papers!) of Kaisercraft PS I Love You , I have used the 6″ paper pad and matching collectables on this one. I added a couple of Green Tara flowers and inked around the large collectable with some Tea Dye ink for definition. A ribbon bow to finish. I had a lovely day at the Paper Flourish Teachers car park sale, and sold a lot of bits and pieces that were taking up valuable real estate in my craft wardrobe. I still have a lot of clearing out to do , but I at least I have started! And of course it means more room for new goodies! Til tomorrow….
Age birthday card..
Todays card is the last for now of my age birthday series, and like the previous cards uses Kaisercraft PS I Love you paper for the bottom layer. The die is Paper Rose Ornate Circle, one butterfly is from the collectables pack of the same paper collection, and I made a small spray of flowers with a ribbon bow to finish. These are actually quite quick and easy cards if you take the time to prepare a few sprays while sitting watching TV in the evening, This one in particular was just a case of winding the flower stems around each other, placing them at different heights before winding. Once all joined together you can bend the wires to spread them out or shape them around the circle as I have done here. A leaf, stamens and some silver thread is all added after the spray is stuck on the card front. Another scorcher here today,no good for crafting as the glue drys before I am ready to stick anything to it! Til tomorrow….
70th birthday card..
Once I had made my sisters card I continued on with age birthday cards, this one is a 70th birthday card. Again I used Kaisercraft PS I Love you paper , mounted the happy birthday on a scrap of glitter card, and die cut ( paper rose Ornate circles and leafy flourish) ,added one of my flower sprays, bling and ribbon.Another really warm day here, but I will venture into the (tidy!) craft room to think up some new class cards.Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft PS I Love You..
A new group today! Kaisercraft PS I Love You.I have only made a few cards with this paper so far ( to be honest I may have misplaced it, but things tend to turn up so I am sure we will see it again eventually)and for the few I made I really only used the papers as backgrounds. These were done while I couldn’t do much crafting because of my shoulder but I have become quite adept at die cutting with my left hand now so there are bits of die cutting on these cards. The dies I used here are Paper Rose brand dies leafy flourish and ornate circle. I made the flower spray, another thing I did while I couldn’t card make – I have quite a few sprays now! I punched the lace doily border added some ribbon and die cut ( kaisercraft)the numbers from glitter cardstock. Til tomorrow….
The final Ooh La la card…
Today is the final Kaisercraft ooh La La card for now, and I used a card base that I had picked up from a craft fair quite some time ago. My mantra for this year is to use some of the items that I have been hoarding and this is the first! The card is a gatefold design with the extra panel with the trellis design. I guess we could recreate this if we had a trellis die..might have to look into that as I quite like the effect…The papers are from the 6″ pad, and some collectables and fussy cutting there too! I have spent the weekend decluttering my craft room and have quite a bit in a corner of the sitting room ready for some sort of sale sometime soon.Although my craft room looks much tidier you really can’t see where I have taken things from. I have the top few shelves of my paper shelving dedicated to ” use it this year or lose it” papers so you will see some new ideas for older papers throughout the year.Til tomorrow….
Ooh La La 11 and 12.

Kaisercraft Ooh La La , 12 x 12 paper, and matching collectables. These are still the cards i have been making while I haven’t been able to do any die cutting, but on the top card i used my Stampin Up bow builder punch, love it and will be using it a lot more!Otherwise a very simple card. The bottom card has lots of texture – lace, ribbon, pearls, sequins and even a flower! the greeting is a vertical stamp from Stampin Up, another item I will be using a lot this coming year! Til tomorrow ( with our last card in this series…for now…)…
Ooh La La 9 and 10..

Kaisercraft ooh La La again today, the top card has a doily and a wooden word from Kaisercraft as well as a bit of ric rac,and sequins.the bottom card has some fussy cutting and both cards use some of the collectables from the same range. The main images are cut from a 12 x 12 paper. i hope every one had an enjoyable Christmas break, mine was very relaxing, although Christmas day itself was very hot 40C so cold meat and salads and lots of lazing around! It has cooled down a lot in the meantime and we have rain today, so extreme weather conditions here! Til tomorrow….
