Victoria gardens revisited
I liked this paper when I first bought it, and I still like it using it for the second time around! It is Echo park Victoria gardens and I have lost count of the ammount of cards I have made with it. For this one I cut a cameo with my cricut machine and the heritage cartridge, made my flower using sizzix 3d flower die, tried out my new die from Die-namics – fancy flourish, and finished it by punching a border with martha stewart punch – lace doily and adding a little lace and liquid pearls. Til tomorrow….
Rue Des Fleurs number 1
Stampin Up have a great mini catalogue running just now, and I have bought lots of new stuff from it and this stamp set and paper are two of my purchases. The stamp set is called Rue Des Fleurs and I love it so over the next few days you will see what I have created with it so far… The paper is also stampin Up – attic boutique. The fancy trim behind the main element is a stamp from the set – its quite neat because the design of the stamp allows the image to be interlocked to make a long border strip and I stamped it in choc chip ink. I stamped the main image with choc chip as well, and I die cut a label using spellbinders label 14. The flourishes are from a die-namics die – fancy flourish. The cardstock is Stampin Up – early espresso and so saffron. I also inked around my label eges in so saffron. In fact looking more closely I think I inked around everything….A busy day today, organising my market boxes to see what cards I am short of – still have a few to make for that….. and as I am off to Canberra with my sister next week for a great girly holiday scrapping and cardmaking and hopefully learning lots of new techniques that I can translate into lessons and cards I thought I would schedule my posts for that time ahead so that my blog will still be posting even if I am not here. Anyway I am so excited cos I actually worked it out myself without any help from my techie son Nathan! This evening – more cards! Til tomorrow….
Prima Botanicals with Butterfly 2
This card somehow got separated from it’s partner which I posted a few posts down… I used Prima Botanicals paper, and the butterflies were fussy cut from a sheet of Graphic 45 paper that was full of these gorgeous butterflies. I used a scrap piece of prima paper to cut randomly sized rectangles and distressed and inked the edges before mounting the butterflies on them. Today I have been playing with my punches, and have come up with some different cards using them, which I am sure will feature in a lesson or two soon! Til tomorrow….
Elegant Bird
I fell in love with this Stampin Up Elegant Bird die, although i didn’t realise it would cut such a large bird – all the same he’s a beauty! On this card I used Stampin Up Twitterpated designer paper, bazzil and stampin up cardstock – basic Grey, a My Minds eye brad, button and ribbon. I ran the body of the bird through the cuttlebug with my trusty swiss dots folder – the first embossing folder I ever bought and still the one I reach for most.No Cards tonight as it’s shopping night and I have to get my gear together for my Paper Flourish class tomorrow – I am looking forward to seeing all my ladies. Til tomorrow….

Prima meadowlark number 5
After a detour yesterday we are back to my Prima Meadow lark collection series – this is the second to last card in this series, and for this one I have covered the whole card base with this gorgeous paper, and added flowers and ribbon, I stamped a stampin Up perfectly penned sentiment onto a pice of paper from the same collection and fussy cut it out. The butterflies are punched out with a martha stewart punch.I did make a start on my village lesson cards, but had to put them to one side while I fulfilled an order, which I am still doing.I have also booked my stall at the salisbury craft fair which is being held in June, but I will have more info on that available on my Market button ( on my home page) in the next week or so… Til tomorrow….
