Here are the other two cards I made for my group Christmas in July challenge..I hadn’t been out to the Craft room annex ( shed) for my Christmas stash so really used what was to hand in the craft room, and I had been making lessons with some Kaisercraft dies, and I always have a bit of glitter paper in the craft room. The stitched oval is a Paper Rose die, and I die cut the bauble on the top card and foiled it through the Go Press and Foil machine as I was experimenting with that new toy at the time. The rest was just assorted bling on my desk. Its a lazy kind of afternoon this afternoon after a busy morning at work, and I am going to have a bit of a sit down with a good book today! Til tomorrow….

This years first Christmas card….

Today is my Craft and Chat group get together, and the challenge set for todays get together was Christmas in July so I quickly whipped up a couple of cards in between class and cruise preparations to take with me . Here is the first one. The bird was a chipboard piece I found in the bottom of a drawer when I was looking for chipboard to try with my new Go Press and foil ( it foiled beautifully).I used a whole layer of glitter cardstock on the background, and die cut a Paper Rose die in gold foil for the sentiment. The Holly is a kaisercraft die, and the stitched oval is a Paper Rose die. Little kaisercraft rhinestones for the holly berries. I have come up with all the card ideas needed for the cruise, now all that is left is to prepare all the kits. That will take quite some time with a lot of die cutting , embossing, and layers to cut.For now though I am off to gather some supplies to take with me to my craft group get together. Til tomorrow….
3 Sheets of Kaisercraft Indigo Skies continued….

For these next two cards, I used a Paper Roses stitched oval die to cut an aperture in the front of a card base, ( it’s easiest to do this with the patterned paper already attached). I put the resulting oval die cuts ( 1 plain card and 1 patterned paper) aside for another card. Decorated the inside panel with the wood panel patterned paper and a fussy cut butterfly, and the front with some fussy cut flowers and a pearl and ribbon. The second card made use of the plain die cut oval, a fussy cut butterfly , die cut birthday greeting ( in silver foil card) and bling! I had a hugely busy week working, so this weekend will be spent catching up around the house, but I don’t doubt that I will find some time to craft. Til tomorrow…..
Last 2 Christmas for this year..

Here are the last two Christmas cards for this year! The top card is made with Stampin Up supplies – Star of light stamp set ( I gold embossed the big swirl stamp),and starlight dies, with gold cord, a couple of gold sequins and a snowflake bling ( from Paper Flourish. The embossing folder is last years release from Stampin up.The bottom card was a bit of an experiment, I cut the front of the card quite drastically, and die cut a couple of circles which I stuck to the right hand side of the base card. You can’t see the bits that i stuck because I covered the back of the base card with some white cardstock ( which I stamped a greeting on). The paper is stampin up, and I punched christmas tres, stuck them on white cardstock and fussy cut out. Til tomorrow…

Next year I will be making more of these in a variety of colours..just wish I had tried it earlier this year! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Silent night 7.
Todays card is a Christmas card made with kaisercraft Silent Night. I have posted a few cards made with this paper collection a few weeks back and this one missed out for some technical reason!I have used some of the matching collectables, inked around all the edges with Tea dye distress ink,and added a gold cord bow. I only have a few Christmas cards left in the queue so over the next couple of days I will post them and then we will put Christmas makes 2016 behind us! I have been slowly making weding cards with Kaisercraft new paper collection – PS I love you, and discovered when I had finished them that they would be too bulky for envelopes so I have been busy making boxes for them..that will teach me to get carried away with embellishing! Wedding and baby cards are my favourite cards to make – What is your favourite card make? Til tomorrow….
Religious Christmas card..
Mum purchased this die by Kaisercraft and cut me a couple of shapes, and I couldnt resist teaming it up with my Stampin Up Starlight dies and stamps. The cardstock is Stamp[in Up,and the little snowflake bling was from Paper flourish – I have stocked up on these snowflakes so that I can start on Christmas cards earlier next year! Til tomorrow….
Special Christmas card..
A quick visit back to Christmas cards, and this one was made with someone special in mind – she doesn’t like the traditional colours, so each year I get to experiment with non Christmas colours. This is this years one – the paper is from Stampin Up, and the dies are Kaisercraft. I backed the died outline with silver cardstock, ( the actual dies were cut out of black glitter card) and added some silver cord.Til tomorrow…..
