Nearly finished the Kiasercraft Christmas wishes series..one more to go after this one! ( for now!)The card on the left is another gatefold,I used the scalloped edge in the 6″ pad, and papers from the same pad to decorate. A fussy cut bauble from a 12 x 12 paper and some gold twine to finish. the card on the left almost looks like it’s from a different collection, but it is still Christmas wishes, and just goes to show how many different styles you can make from this one collection. The good news for today is that I found my camera!! I have also coloured my dogs, and completed my orders,so that just leaves time for some more christmas card makes. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes number 10..
some
Another Gatefold card today with Kaisercraft Christmas wishes. Today I have used a bit of everything from the collection – 6″ pad for the layers, a piece of the 12 x 12 for the verse inside, some fussy cutting from a 12 x 12 paper for the baubles, as well as one of the collectable baubles, and another couple of collectables on the lower right hand side. This weekend I am looking forward to…doing some orders, making more christmas cards with some new papers, colouring my tim holtz crazy dogs..and finding my camera which has been missing for over a week, and I can’t take any photos in real time and upload them without it!If I haven’t found it by the end of the weekend I will have to buy a new one! Who knew I was so reliant on it? Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes 8 and 9..

For the next few days we will be looking at Kaisercraft Chjristmas Wishes Paper and collectables.Although it is quite a modern colour scheme of lilacs and aqua, I have managed to make a couple of more traditional cards with this range, as shown on the second card. For most of this range I made gatefold cards as they eleiminate the age old question of what about an insert?, as I just line the inside panel with patterned paper and use one of the greetings from the range inside. The papers on these two cards were from the 6″ pad, and I used some collectables from the matching pack. I just added some trim some cost effective cards! A rainy day here , all my shopping etc done and now I am off to the craft room and some relaxation! Til tomorrow….
Continuing on with kaisercraft true Romance
As I started with the revisit to Kaisercraft True Romance paper collection yesterday we will continue on with the cards I made before I created the rectangle aperture card. This card uses some of the 12 x 12 paper,a couple of the collectables and some fussy cut flowers. There were lots of tags in this collection so I have done a lot of layering here, with the tags and the doilies that are also in this collection. This is another collection that I have lots of so it will take a few revisits before I have used it all! I have inked around the edges of everything with tea dye ink. Inking around edges is a good idea when you are doing lots of layers as it defines each layer.Tea dye distress ink is always my go-to ink pad for this job. Til tomorrow….
An aperture card..

For one of my lessons at paper flourish a little while ago I showed my ladies how to make these quick and easy rectangle aperture cards. The trick is to cut the paper to size, place on the card without gluing down and run the whole card front and paper through the die cutting machine at the same time, that way everything lines up perfectly when you come to stick it all down. I find it is easier to hold die , paper and card in place with a little repositional tape when running through the machine. For my card today i went one step further and slipped some acetate in between the paper and card before sticking everything down. I found this lovely printed Kaisercraft acetate while looking for my plain acetate and thought “perfect”! The second photo is the inside of the card. Some lovely stampin up lace, a collectable and tag , scalloped border from the paper pad…oh…This paper is Kaisercraft true Romance and another old favourite..you can see I am trying to work my way through all my papers…i am off to make another one of these because I really like the way it has turnedout, and may want to keep this one! Purple day today!
Recently I had an order for a purple birthday card, so I teamed it with black and gold , and got to work with the big shot and a variety of dies…kaisercraft layered flowers, magnolia flourish, and spellbinders for the sentiment and tags. The gold foiled doily was from a kaisercraft paper range, embossing folder was an older stampin up one, and the cardstock was also stampin up.I cheated and used gold letter stickers for the message.Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Mademoiselle
I found a Kaisercraft Mademoiselle card that I haven’t posted yet..I used 12 x 12 papers for this one, and some fussy cut pieces from more 12 x 12 paper. I used a kaisercraft occassions die to die cut the greeting in gold cardstock, added some gold thread behind, and hand crocheted a doily ( still practising !) and added some bead, and bling , ribbon bow , in the centre. The cardstock base is a piece of stampin up cardstock. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Christmas wishes 7,the last for now..
This is the last card for now in my Kaisercraft Christmas wishes series.I used some pieces of the 12 x 12 paper, and die cut a pointsetta with a Kaisercraft Die. There is a border at the bottom created with a border punch, and I just added sequins to the middle of the pointsetta and a little bow in the right hand corner.A very busy weekend this weekend, and glorious weather here – looks like spring is right on schedule, so I don’t think I will get much time in the craft room so the ideas in my head will have to wait! til tomorrow….
KaisercraftChristmas wishes 5 and 6..

Twp more cards using Kaisercraft Christmas wishes paper collection. The top card only has a bit of the papers fussy cut, and the focal image of this card is the gorgeous Memory box merry christmas die which I picked up from Paper Flourish the other day and couldn’t wait to try! It cuts beautifully, as all memory box dies do,my favourite brand on equal first with kaisercraft dies! The bottom card is made with some of the 12 x 12 papers from the collection, with one of the card fronts cut from another piece of 12 x 12 paper, another easy card with just a bit of layering and some sequins scattered and a fussy cut bauble.Day off today , shopping done and I am off to the craft room to prepare my october class which is all about traditional christmas colours and images..lovely….til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Christmas wishhes and dies 3 and 4..

My two Kaisercraft Christmas wishes cards today use very little paper, just some baubles fussy cut and the background paper for the reindeer. The main focus are the dies I used ,kaisercraft christmas ones from last year which cut beautifully. I added some bling and some kindyglitz on the reindeer and some little bows on the christmas tree. These are the dies I was looking for the other day, I am glad to report they have turned up! I put them on the shelf behind my desk for easy access, clever idea if only I had remembered that!
