Here are the other two cards I made for my group Christmas in July challenge..I hadn’t been out to the Craft room annex ( shed) for my Christmas stash so really used what was to hand in the craft room, and I had been making lessons with some Kaisercraft dies, and I always have a bit of glitter paper in the craft room. The stitched oval is a Paper Rose die, and I die cut the bauble on the top card and foiled it through the Go Press and Foil machine as I was experimenting with that new toy at the time. The rest was just assorted bling on my desk. Its a lazy kind of afternoon this afternoon after a busy morning at work, and I am going to have a bit of a sit down with a good book today! Til tomorrow….

This years first Christmas card….

Today is my Craft and Chat group get together, and the challenge set for todays get together was Christmas in July so I quickly whipped up a couple of cards in between class and cruise preparations to take with me . Here is the first one. The bird was a chipboard piece I found in the bottom of a drawer when I was looking for chipboard to try with my new Go Press and foil ( it foiled beautifully).I used a whole layer of glitter cardstock on the background, and die cut a Paper Rose die in gold foil for the sentiment. The Holly is a kaisercraft die, and the stitched oval is a Paper Rose die. Little kaisercraft rhinestones for the holly berries. I have come up with all the card ideas needed for the cruise, now all that is left is to prepare all the kits. That will take quite some time with a lot of die cutting , embossing, and layers to cut.For now though I am off to gather some supplies to take with me to my craft group get together. Til tomorrow….
kaisercraft Golden Grove
Here is the third card made witrh Kaisercraft Golden Grove, and for this one I used a piece from the card fronts 12 x 12 sheet as well as a grouping of the collectables. I added a string of gold beading, and traced around the Hello with Wink of Stella in clear to add a little sheen. the rest was all down to matting! The weather has fined up today, and I think I am going to spend some time this afternoon in the garden, sitting in the sunshine with my book, just to blow some of the winter cobwebs away.. I hope you all have a lovely weekend, til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Golden Grove..

Continuing on with the Autumn themed challenge, this months kaisercraft release fitted in perfectly, and here are 2 cards I made with that range. I embossed a piece of cardstock with a stampin up embossing folder for the top card, and added a few of the collectables from the range, and sprinkled sequins. For the lower card I fussy cut lots of pears ( my husband loves pears and this will be his birthday card) did some paper layering and again sprinkled a few sequins. I am on track with all the lessons I need to come up with, just have a couple more to do for the cruise, and one to thinbk about for the village ladies, so I might have a break today from the craft room, and catch up on some reading this afternoon..it’s been a lovely morning while I was working but it has become overcast now and think some rain is on it’s way..all good for the garden…til tomorrow…
Autumn colours
Last month at my craft and chat group the challenge was autumn colours, and this was one of my cards for that challenge. I used Kaisercraft Sage and Grace papers for the background, and a memory box die for the leaves, and Stampin Up Botanical Blooms dies for the flowers. The centres of the flowers are liquid pearls. I had a great day in the craft room yesterday and have designed half the lessons I need for the cruise classes. My son flies back to Sydney later today, it’s been lovely spending the week with him, and we had a great night last night joining a Ghost Tour of our old Adelaide Gaol with my 2 sisters, and nephew as well. I found the history and stories interesting, but no ghostly visits, although my 2 sisters would beg to differ with a very cold breath being blown in their faces and my sisters coat button dropping off and causing great consternation in the group! A fun way to pass a couple of hours and learn more about our city at the same time.Today I will spend just a little time in the craft room while inspiration is high and continue the cruise cards as the drafts have be submiited in a week or so. til tomorrow…..
Bo Bunny Serendipity..
I have only made the one card with this paper collection so far, as I have been distracted with new toys. It is a gorgeous paper range with lots of birds and lovely colours, but this card uses one of the card fronts with the butterfly. There were two images of the butterfly so I fussy cut the second one and popped it on top of the first. I had very good news this morning..I am teaching card making on a cruise to Tasmania in February. I taught on this cruise this year and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so I was thrilled when the cruise company asked if I would be interested again this season. Over the next few weeks I will be organising my classes for that. My sister will come along to lend a helping hand and will be a big help getting everything ready.Meantime, I have a few projects on the go in the craft room, so will clear those this weekend if I get the chance! Til tomorrow….
Third go press and foil card….

This is the final card I made the other day with my Go Press and Foil machine.I spent a lovely couple of hours the other night doing some more foiling so there will be more to come. I foiled the flourish and fussy cut around it, then glued it to white cardstock and embossed the whole sheet with a stampin up embossing folder. The butterfly is diecut in glitter card with a kaisercraft die. The chipboard leaf is foiled. Til tomorrow….
Go Press and foil card number 2….
I do like an all white card, and this one has pops of gold all created with my Go Press and Foil machine. I foiled the sentiment, and some chipboard, added an embossed background, and added a couple of flowers and flourishes. We had an early trip to the airport this morning to pick up my son Daniel who is home from Sydney for a holiday, so i may be a little sporadic posting this week. Til tomorrow…..
A card with my Go Press and Foil machine…
As you all know , I purchased a Go Press and Foil machine and have been practising with it. The upshot is I have a lot of foiled bits and pieces waiting to be made into cards! I sat down the other day and made a few, this is the first one…Stampin Up cardstock ( watermelon wonder I believe) for the card base, and the Go Press and foils stamps for the ornate embossed background and the sentiment. some ribbon, a hand coiled flower ( also on my desk waiting for a project) some die cut greenery and flowers from Iamroses website. i have a few hours to myself today, so i am heading into the craft room with no plan..just going to see where the inspiration takes me! Til tomorrow….
Sage and Grace ( Kaisercraft)
This is another double z fold card, this time with some Kaisercraft sage and Grace decoration. I used pieces of the 12 x 12 papers, and some of the matching collectables. I haven’t done anything else with this paper collection yet as I have been busy playing with new toys and preparing lessons for the next couple of months, including some christmas makes, but will get back to this one in the near future! I actually have a bit of a pile of new papers to get back to! Anyway, today is a day in the kitchen as a friend gave us a big box of tomatoes and I am making a huge pot of spaghetti sauce to put into containers and freeze, and we will be having tomato soup for tea tonight! Til tomorrow….
