Back today with some cards made with Uniquely Creative Seize the day papers. These ones are a little more intricate than last weeks ones, with more layering, fussy cutting and bits and pieces added. The top card has some watered down ink sprayed for the background..I do like this effect, I used to do it a lot but somehow got out of the habit. Funny how you move on from things.. Cleaning out my craft room I came across some old border stickers. I used to use them all the time but haven’t done so for years now, but I am coming up with some new ways to use them..stay tuned! Til next time, stay safe..
Still in love with this paper collection by Uniquely Creative called Seize the day..I really have only used the papers ( a tiny string bow, star dies, letter dies and a couple of cute ladybirds don’t count!)I had to force myself to stop creating with it, so I have a few more to show you next week and then we will move on .Things are starting to return to normal here, I am trying to sort out the craft room and get all crafty things in one spot but major culling has to happen and its very difficult to even contemplate! The boys have bought me a tv for the craft room.. I don’t know if that’s good or bad..Til next time, stay safe…
These cards were made with A Uniquely Creative collection kit ( which included things like the striped washi tape, Star stacking die, mushroom stamp, and of course the paper collection and matching creative cuts. I made and made with this collection, and only the arrival of another collection stopped me. The fairy on the top card is a spellbinders die, and on the second card i was experimenting with just partially embossing my card. It was easy, and I love the look so I will be doing it again! Things here are returning to normal thank goodness, with my husband out of hospital and recovered and my little dog Luna back to herself playing with her fluffy toy and her mate Daisy and just leaving a huge vet bill behind her but to have her back to her old self is worth it. Who knows maybe this week I will get back to the craft table! Til next time, stay safe…
I’m sorry I have been missing the last few weeks.. It’s been a traumatic time here at home. My little dog Luna got attacked by a much much bigger dog and required three lots of surgery to save her. It’s taken a little while but I am so happy to say she is back to her lively cheeky self. In between all that my husband had a hospital visit, and of course mum and dad are always on my carers list. As happens, life has returned to new normal, and I have managed to do a little crafting and have a build up of papers I haven’t played with yet. Today’s cards are made with Mind over Matter ( by Uniquely Creative) I love this paper , but these are the only cards I have made with it so far as I got distracted by the next lot of papers, which you will see next week and probably the week after next because I couldn’t stop once started. Anyway back to this week…The top card is a book card and I made a box with a clear lid to pop it in. I inked the edges of everything on all these cards and didn’t have to add too many extras ..The paper speaks for itself. The die on the bottom card is an older spellbinders die. Til next time..stay safe….
This weeks cards are all made with High Tea paper collection and matching Creative cuts. I enjoyed a little bit of fussy cutting and only added a little bling and lace! The weather here has not been conducive to card making..the humidity has made the cardstock limp and the glue super runny.. We have a small cool change on the way ,hopefully its enough to dry everything out so that I can go back into the craft room! Til next time, stay safe…
Three cards today made with uniquely Creative High Tea paper collection. I love the soft tones of this collection, and the fact that I could get out my flower and lace collections! A bit of a shabby feel on the first one. Til next time ..stay safe!
What gloriously happy and bright this paper collection by Uniquely Creative is! On the first and third card I did some embossing, stenciling and inking, but on the second and fourth it was all the papers and matching creative cuts. I’m afraid there has been little crafting happening here as its been a week of processing the cherries off the tree.. 13 kilos this year, turned into pies, pie filling for the freezer, cut, pipped and frozen for smoothies and muffins, eaten and given away. Onto the Apricots! til next time, have a safe and happy Christmas, and thank you for tuning in look at my creations and read my musings! Stay safe ! xxxx
What I loved about this paper collection by Uniquely Creative is how versatile it is…vintage, cute, or traditional..all bases covered! The lower two cards were part of a class I did with my retirement village ladies. I had a class with them yesterday too, our last card class for the year as they take a break to prepare for their Christmas celebratons. The weather is still mild here, we have had a couple of humid days and no crafting could be done on those days as the cardstock was just too floppy! Oh dear!
have thoroughly enjoyed creating with this paper collection from Uniquely Creative called Days of December. Lots of vintage opportunities, as well as really cute little images. you can see I created in a couple of different styles with these four cards. I have had another good week of creating, but I have packed up Christmas and moved on to some very bright cards which I will show you all in a couple of weeks once we have caught up with my Christmas makes. The weather here is still not summer, but I am not complaining! Quite enjoying the mild spring weather and even the occasional hail and thunder storm.Til next time, stay safe…
I thought we were ready to move onto a new paper collection, but when I checked my photo files there were these last few cards made with Merry and Magical ( Uniquely Creative) and none of the cards I have made in the last couple of weeks with the other paper collection I bought for this years Christmas card making. That needs checking into! Anyway, we have these few and I have added some stamping, die cutting, embossing and bling to these ones. It’s been a very quiet week around here, and I have even found some time to do a bit of reading and I have finally finished the album I made featuring my two puppies!
