An order with new dies!

img_6787Before we move on to a new series I thought I would post a card I made for an order this week because I made it using some new dies I picked up from Paper Flourish. The white leafy flourishes and pretty  flowers are dies by Paper Roses, the white flower is a memory box die and the butterfly ( an older die of mine) is kaisercraft. The embossing folder I used on the background is also kaisercraft. Just some pearls and this was a great card for using up scraps of cardstock, and I love those flowers. I left them flat on this card but you could curl the petals too for a different look. I am off to the craft room now as I have a few more cards to do for orders. Til tomorrow….

Valentines day card

img_0716-mediumThe collectables pack from the Prima Rossibelle collection had some wonderful bits and pieces in it, and the silver plaque and tag were the base for this card. The flowers were also Prima and I added some gold thread and a flat backed pearl. The papers were some random pieces that were in my stash and I used a bit of the silver textured one to die cut a heart. Today is a day off, so i have been busy in the kitchen experimenting with a chicken casserole – no recipe so hope it turns out alright – smells ok as its simmerimg, so hopefully I have succeeded! Now I am off to the craft room to make a start on 6 orders, and looking forward to relaxing! til tomorrow…

Prima Rossibelle number 4..

img_0714-mediumTodays card uses bits and pieces from the Prima Rossibelle collectables and matching flower. No paper on this one, so a clean and simple design.I added some copper sequins and a punched leaf( from copper glitter paper) and a bow. I love the little locket heart and nearly kept it for myself! I think that might have been the last card in this series for now, a new group starts tomorrow! til tomorrow….

Prima Rossibelle number 3..

img_0713-mediumOh, Dear I threw everything at this one didn’t I? There is die cutting ( All Paper Rose dies – tags, ornate circle and leafy flourish ) Punching ( tim holtz butterfly and Martha stewart hyacinth) fussy cutting, and flowers ( prima), lace and sequins! The tags were die cut from some prima vintage paper. The next card in the queue is the exact opposite of this one..maybe I used everything up on one card?I had a lovely lesson with the village ladies yesterday, today I popping over to Paper Flourish to drop off my march lessons and have a look at the new Paper Rose dies. Til tomorrow….

Prima Rossibelle number 2…

img_0712-mediumPrima Rossibelle paper collection, along with matching flowers and chipbboard. For this one I fussy cut the paper and stuck it on some plain cardstock ( stampin up Sweet Sugarplum). I then added ribbon, a flower, and die cut Paper Rose Leafy Flourish ( in copper cardstock)A couple of pieces of chipboard and a sentiment finished this one. Today I am off to the retirement village for a class, and we will make some cards and enjoy afternoon tea( the ladies always put on a lovely handmade spread!)Til tomorrow….

Prima Rossibelle number 1..

img_0711-mediumA new series today, this one is Prima Rossibelle papers, and I bought the matching chipboard and flowers as well. For this first card I cut the paper so that the birdcage was positioned on the left hand side of the card, fussy cut some paper with the lacy border, tucked lace behind , and added a prima flower, ribbon, little punched flowers and a punched tim holtz butterfly. I went searching through my bits and pieces to find anything copper related because I thought copper would be a good fit with this paper and found some copper sequins, pearls, glitter paper and even copper sticker sentiments so they all found their way onto the card! The die I used for the leafy flourish is called just that and is by Paper Rose.Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Peek – a – boo, the pink ones!

img_0704-mediumStill with kaisercraft Peek-a-boo, but the pink version. Girl baby card today, and here I have used the 6″ pad ( which is a mix of pink and blue papers) for the background layer, and some matching collectables. The “Baby” was die cut with Kaisecraft die and inked around with tea dye ink to make it stand out a little from the pinkness of the papers. ribbon and delicate lace to finish! Housework is done, roast is in the oven so now it’s time to craft! til tomorrow….

PS I LOve You number 4

This is the final card ( for now, until I find where I have put the papers!) of Kaisercraft PS I Love You , I have used the 6″ paper pad and matching collectables on this one. I added a couple of Green Tara flowers and inked around the large collectable with some Tea Dye ink for definition. A ribbon bow to finish. I had a lovely day at the Paper Flourish Teachers car park sale, and sold  a lot of bits and pieces that were taking up valuable real estate in my craft wardrobe. I still have a lot of clearing out to do , but I at least I have started! And of course it means more room for new goodies! Til tomorrow….img_0699-medium

Kaisercraft PS I Love You..

img_0696-mediumA new group today! Kaisercraft PS I Love You.I have only made a few cards with this paper so far ( to be honest I may have misplaced it, but things tend to turn up so I am sure we will see it again eventually)and for the few I made I really only used the papers as backgrounds. These were done while I couldn’t do much crafting because of my shoulder but I have become quite adept at die cutting with my left hand now so there are bits of die cutting on these cards. The dies I used here are Paper Rose brand dies leafy flourish and ornate circle. I made the flower spray, another thing I did while I couldn’t card make – I have quite a few sprays now! I punched the lace doily border added some ribbon and die cut ( kaisercraft)the numbers from glitter cardstock. Til tomorrow….

The final Ooh La la card…

img_8043-mediumToday is the final Kaisercraft ooh La La card for now, and I used a card base that I had picked up from a craft fair quite some time ago. My mantra for this year is to use some of the items that I  have been hoarding and this is the first! The card is a gatefold design with the extra panel with the trellis design. I guess we could recreate this if we had a trellis die..might have to look into that as I quite like the effect…The papers are from the 6″ pad, and some collectables and fussy cutting there too! I have spent the weekend decluttering my craft room and have quite a  bit in a corner of the sitting room ready for some sort of sale sometime soon.Although my craft room looks much tidier you really can’t see where I have taken things from. I have  the top few shelves of my paper shelving dedicated to ” use it this year or lose it” papers so you will see some new ideas for older papers throughout the year.Til tomorrow….
