Graphic 45 Christmas emporium 13,14,15
Really cheated on these Christmas cards! The Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium Papers were so beautiful I didn’t alter them in any way, just added the interest by doing lots of layering with an assortment of Stampin Up cardstock. To finish I added ribbon bows and glitter.Quick post tonight as its shopping night, then home to pack my craft bag for a class tomorrow – I am looking forward to it, til tomorrow….
Christmas Front door card

I came up with this christmas front door card, and tried out 3 variations before I settled on the far right one as the one to go with. It’s quite easy to put together as it’s panels of card which I have hand embossed around,( stampin Up naturals ivory) and made the wreath with punched leaves, a ribbon bow and some liquid pearls in red, and kindyglitz. Don’t forget the door knob! Inside I wanted to look like a mantle piece so used two pieces of patterned paper ( kaisercraft twig and berries) and my stampin up stocking punch . I made little christmas cards to put across the top of my mantle piece using images from a piece of graphic 45 paper. My holidays are over, and I am back at work, so a little worn out, and may not make it into the craft room tonight – we will see! Til tomorrow….
graphic 45 Christmas Emporium 3 and 4
Although I have titled these cards Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium, I think a little bit of graphic 45 Christmas Past from the previous year has crept into these ones – just goes to show – never throw away those scraps! also explains why I cant move in my craft room at the moment. The time is coming for a ruthless clean up. These cards are self explanitory, a bit of fussy cutting of the images, some layering and bakers twine and ribbon added for texture and interest.I also see I used an ek success border punch on the card on the right. Kaisercraft Turtle dove 11 and 12
Here are the last 2 in my kaisercraft turtle dove collection for now, tomorrow we will have a little break from christmas, and see what else is in my card files. These two cards use the Kaisercraft Turtle Dove 6″ pad and the matching collectables. I just added a little ribbon. The image on the left hand card was cut from a sheet in the 6″pad, and using the second sheet in the pad I cut the image again and 3d’ed it on top with some foam pads. I think this one is my favourite card from the series. Today is more christmas cards – will I ever be finished? and a class to teach over at the Village so must get my bag ready for that! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Turtle Dove 3 and 4
Here are 2 really simple cards using Kaisercraft 6′ pad – Turtle Dove and the matching collectables. I added ribbon, perfect pearls and kindyglitz to complete .I have been working on some canvas art today, but have packed it away to make some male themed cards – I have been avoiding them for a while, but have got some ideas to try out so I will spend a little time today to get them down on paper ( or should I say cardstock!) Til tomorrow…..
Christmas 2012 phrase…
Last one for now, we will revisit christmas after a short break! Here I have again used Stampin Up be of Good Cheer designer paper – did I say how much I like the rich colours of this paper? and matched it with stampin Up Cherry Cobbler, very vanilla and Wild wasabi cardstock. I embellished with kindyglitz, ribbon, bakers twine and my Ek Success border punch – sorry can’t recall the name of that one -.The Noel was die cut with my cuttlebug using a Sizzix basic grey die called Phrases, Noel. Christmas cards 2012 – simple…
Very little christmas purchases used on this one! The cuttlebug folder is Winter Tress, and I used my Tim Holtz embossing diffuser to leave an oval at the bottom plain so that I could stamp straight onto the cardstock. The stamp used came from Stampin Up Welcome Christmas, then all I had to do was add some thin gold ribbon, and die cut a flower from my Die – namics Upsey daisies die. I used stampin Up Chery Cobbler and handsome Hunter cardstock to try to make it look like a Poinsetta. had a lovely morning with my Ladies this morning, and spent a little time this afternoon in the craft room, mainly looking for things – I have to clean that room out!Til tomorrow…
Lovely as a tree christmas 2012
Here is a card I made using non christmas stamps that I had in my craft room. The cardstock is stampin up handsome hunter( sadly retired – such a good christmas colour, lucky I stocked up!) and Very vanilla, and the inks used are handsome hunter and certainly celery. I used my versamark pen and perfect pearls Forever Green on the tree at the forefront of the card to give it some sparkle. The little sentiment is from Stampin Up Petite Pairs stamp set. Nathan and I did a youtube video which is here, to show how I achieved the whole tree in front look. Much easier than explaining it in words! Til tomorrow….
