This weeks cards are made using kaisercraft Sunkissed..I thought after a week of rain and cold weather we could use a little brightness! We never complain about the rain though! All of these cards only use the 6″ pad and the matching collectables. I may have done a little fussy cutting, but nothing else has been added to these ones. My craft desk today is covered with ribbon, lace and flowers and I am working with some new Prima paper, so I am back in my comfort zone!Til next time, stay safe…..

Go Press and Foil cards..
Todays two cards highlight the Go Press and Foil machine, which I used to foil the Happy Birthday. I did these two cards for a class that I taught, and incorporated some die cutting with Seven paper Doll dies. On the top card I cut up one of the filigreed die cut squares to create fancy borders. Glitter cardstock was used for the leave and flourish dies, and then just added some pretty flowers. I have been missing from here this week as My dad is in hospital and I have been busy visiting him, and working in between. He is still in hospital, having many tests, so my busy life is ongoing, I will get back here as often as time permits , Til then……
Kaisercraft Full Bloom..
Today I am posting three cards I made for a class using Kaisercraft Full Bloom paper collection. All three cards rely only on the papers, and if memory serves it was only three different papers from the collection. I have the whole range here at home but as yet ( because of Christmas makes) have not done anything with it yet but look forward to in the new year as it is a beautiful range and I have lots of ideas! There is so much happening here just now, working, getting organised for Christmas, putting final touches on my cruise lessons, and trying to get ahead of my lessons , my personal crafting has taken a back seat, but things will get back to normal after February! Til tomorow…..
Stampin Up Tropical Escape…
I don’t know about you, but I need a break from Christmas card makes and I am ready to move on! We may revisit Christmas in the next couple of weeks but for now I am happy to show you all some cards i amde with Stampin Up designer papers. From memory the collection is called Tropical escape and I fussy cut various creatures, large and small. The top two cards are aperture cards – I die cut a circle out of the front of the card and most of the decorating inside, just making a leafy window to look through. The leafy fronds were all fussy cut from the papers. The sun was die cut from a Uniquely Creative die. Today is Cherry picking day, it is a little bit cooler, and the sun is hiding behind a blanket of clouds so good weather to harvest our crop! Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane number 7..
Working with the blue shades from the Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane collection,I came up with this one which uses some dies and punches to make the flower, and a very old button from my collection to highlight the tag. The papers are from the 6″ pad,and I have layered a couple of the pull apart tags inking around all the edges with Tea Dye distress ink.I spent a lovely hour over at Paper Flourish today, browsing, chatting and buying, I bought a few more copic markers as I am trying to build my collection, and picked up some lovely papers from Bo Bunny called Petal Lane ( gorgeous papers in shades of soft pink and yellow with pops of black) and a new Kaisercraft 6″ paper pad called Hanami Garden which is a Japanese inspired collection. Now I am off to the craft room to create! Til tomorrow….
Peek a boo baby girl..
Two cards today because I have been missing on the blog this week, had a few Dr’s appointments to sort out my knee which has been playing up. Turns out it’s arthritis, so I will just have to get used to it,I am just so relieved it isn’t a cartlidge problem again!Todays cards are made using Kaisercraft Peek a boo in the girls colours. I also used the Kaisecraft dies for the pram and the word baby.I used a matching collectable to pop into the pram on the top card, and for the bottom card I punched a circle and added googly eyes to represent a baby peeking out of the pram ( I like this one – the fun nature of it). Went to town with the lace , ribbon and buttons! Day off today so i am off to the craft room to sit and relax for a couple of hours at least, til tomorrow…..
70th birthday card..
Once I had made my sisters card I continued on with age birthday cards, this one is a 70th birthday card. Again I used Kaisercraft PS I Love you paper , mounted the happy birthday on a scrap of glitter card, and die cut ( paper rose Ornate circles and leafy flourish) ,added one of my flower sprays, bling and ribbon.Another really warm day here, but I will venture into the (tidy!) craft room to think up some new class cards.Til tomorrow…..
Ooh La La 9 and 10..
Kaisercraft ooh La La again today, the top card has a doily and a wooden word from Kaisercraft as well as a bit of ric rac,and sequins.the bottom card has some fussy cutting and both cards use some of the collectables from the same range. The main images are cut from a 12 x 12 paper. i hope every one had an enjoyable Christmas break, mine was very relaxing, although Christmas day itself was very hot 40C so cold meat and salads and lots of lazing around! It has cooled down a lot in the meantime and we have rain today, so extreme weather conditions here! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Ooh La La 6….
No die cutting or stamping on this card – just all paper!I used a bit of everything in the collection – some papers from the 6″ pad, collectables, and one of the card front rectangles from a 12 x 12 paper.Did some fussy cutting, and added some bling. Got to love this paper! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Ooh La La number 4..
Sorry I have been missing a little bit this week, but I have been working extra hours due to the Christmas rush at work.Over the next couple of weeks I may be posting a little less due to the same reason. We are going back to my Ooh La La cards made with Kaisercraft Ooh La La paper collection and matching collectables. This is the paper I reached for when I damaged my shoulder and couldn’t do any die cutting – things have improved only a little but I have become adept at die cutting with my left hand, but still avoid it when I can! For this card I used papers from the 6″ pad., and layered them up, fussy cutting around the tops of the flower paper layer, and a tag from the pad. A collectables butterfly ,ribbon bow, kaisercraft pearls and green Tara flower all added texture. Til tomorow….
