Sorry I missed yesterdays post, but our new air conditioning system was installed and it was a little busy around here – just in the nick of time too, as I sit here it’s 43C and is going to stay that way for quite a few days. Today is number 4 in my Graphic 45 A place in time series, still using my original 2 sheets of March cut outs. The cardstock is Stampin up Garden Green, and a lovely piece of bazil. I stamped a four leaf clover from my oxford impressions Farm stamp set and gold embossed it. The addition of a kaisercraft brad, and there it is – a good luck card ! I have a couple of orders to do, but far too hot today, the glue will dry before I get it near the cardstock, so the craft room will have to wait. Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 a place in Time 1 and 2
happy new year to all my followers and visitors. Today is the day that wordpress sends out my statistics for the year past, and I want to thank all 55,879 visitors for stopping by over the past year.Everyone who is a regular visitor will know that my favourite paper is Graphic 45 and so for the next few posts you will be seeing what I did with 2 sheets of Graphic 45 A place in time – march cut outs. I bought 2 because I loved the back as much as the front, and by the time I was finished I had used every scrap of both sheets! Todays cards are Mothers day cards – early I know, but the images are perfect for Mothers Day I think! The cardstock is Stampin Up Perfect plum and garden green, and I also used a little ribbon, lace, pearls and a kaisercraft brad.Til tomorrow….
stampin up Country side number 5
For my fifth card in my Stampin Up countryside Series I used 2 of the stamps in the set, and stamped them with early Espresso ink. The card base is choc chip cardstock, and I also used crumbcake, very vanilla and close to cocoa( retired colour) all from Stampin Up. I used my woodgrain embossing folder, again inking it up before I embossed, to get that lovely shaded effect. A little linen thread, and this one was done! I have been making some boxes for my cards this afternoon, so now it’s off into the craft room to make some cards to put in them ! Til tomorrow….
countryside Number 1
helloo, and I hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas. For my next few posts I am going to show some cards I have made using a new stamp set from Stampin Up called Countyside. It is my favourite stamp set for men and every time I get it out I think of more new ways of using it!For todays card I have stamped and coloured the truck image with prisma colour pencils ( I am still practising with these, but they are going to be a favourite way of colouring once I get the hang of them), and have stamped a couple of stamps from other sets on the sides of my card in black, then coloured the whole card with distress inks. The dies used in the foreground are Grassland border by Poppiestamps, and spellbindedrs wrought iron .The cardstock is Stampin Up old olive.I ahve been out of the craft room for the past few days, but will pop in there tonight to start working on Februarys class cards. Til tomorrow….
Secret Admirer number 4
Hi all, sorry I missed yesterday, but life got away from me and I ran out of time! Hopefully things settle a bit after Christmas! So today we are still using the same 12 x 12 sheet of paper from Kaisercraft Secret Admirer collection and the matching collectables, and here I have stamped my greeting on the centre of one, and arranged a few to the left of the card. Added some flowers ( kaisercraft) a punched butterfly, pearls and some gorgeously bright pink ribbon.I taught a small class today – too close to christmas for a lot of people – bought some beautiful do- crafts art deco die cuts and paper, and have spent a lovely afternoon creating – just what I needed! Til tomorrow….
