I bought a 12 x 12 pad of Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments paper, and there are lots of images on this paper for valentines day cards and easter cards. This week I have been making some Easter cards , but previously I made a couple of valentines Day cards – this is the first one.Nothing on this card except for the papers – layered and fussy cut. Some fancy photography by Nathan managed to put an image of the inside of the card on the right hand side of the card front.the layer of paper used on the inside is actually My Minds Eye now that I look closely!That crossover of paper companys very rarely happens in my world! I taught a lovely class of ladies this morning, and I am looking forward to a long weekend of crafting. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Velvet Crush number 5
This is the last in my Kaisercraft Velvet Crush series for now, have a few more to photo this weekend so we haven’t seen the last of this paper!. For this one I used the 6″ pad for the background layer, and the frame was fussy cut from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper. the butterflies are from the matching collectables, and to finish I added some rhinestones, and rounded the corners with my corner rounder. the cardstock is by Stampin up.Til tomorrow…
Kaisercraft Velvet Crush number 4
Sorry I missed yesterdays post, but I had an urgent order, so it was cook tea and straight into the craft room last night! Todays card is still using the kaisercraft velvet crush collection, and I used the 6 ” pad, collectables, and a piece of the 12 x 12 paper fussy cut the label at the back – it had words printed on it that I didn’t really want to use so I layered another label on top, just another way to use the labels and tags in this collection.To finish – rhinestones and a ribbon bow.The cardstock and sentiment stamp is from Stampin Up. Kaisercraft Velvet Crush number 3
Have I said how much I love the colours in this collection? I particularly like the touch of black which adds a really elegant feel!For this card I used the kaisercraft Velvet Crush 6″ pad, along with the matching collectables.I fussycut a few butterflies, and added some prima flowers, a ribbon bow and rhinestones.The cardstock and sentiment stamp is from stampin up. I taught a lovely group of ladies today, and now I am ready to put my feet up for a rest before work tomorrow… til tomorrow…
kaisercraft velvet Crush number 1
Today is the start of my kaisercraft velvet Crush group – I have only made a few with this collection, but hope to get back to it this evening when i have a little bit of peace and quiet, and the weather is cooler! For this first card i have used the kaisercraft velvet crush 6″ pad and matching collectables. the sentiment and cardstock is from stampin up and the flowers are by Prima.I also added a few dots of liquid pearls. Graphic 45 couture collection number 7
Number 7 in my Graphic 45 Couture collection series, and for this one I used a sheet of the 6″ pad for the background paper ( so glad I bought this pad along with the 12 x 12 sheets – it’s all small patterns – perfect for the background layer because as it turns out I fussy cut just about every sheet of the 12 x 12!)and then a collection of fussy cut images from the 12 x 12 papers. I sat over the course of a few evenings watching tv and just fussy cutting, so I have a lovely container of images to delve into already for decorating my cards. I tend to do this now as soon as I bring home any new papers, so that when I get time to create all the hard work is done. Super hot here today, but the rain, thunder and lightening has just started so its going to be very humid shortly.Not nice. I have spent today resting my foot, and it’s back to work for me tomorrow,hopefully all that pain is behind me now. Til tomorrow….

For this graphic 45 couture collection card I used some of the papers from the 6″ pad for the background layers, and fussy cut a couple of images and flowers from some of the 12 x 12 papers.I was off to the Dr. today who sent me straight off to the x-ray and ultrasound man who proceeded to inject cortisone into my heel, so no crafting today and no walking either – at the moment I can’t even feel my left foot…I wasn’t expecting that when I woke up this morning!~ til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 Couture collection 4 and 5
Another 2 cards from the same 12 x 12 sheet as yesterdays cards, from graphic 45 couture collection.Again I cut a second image and 3’d the lady images.The card bases are made from stampin up cardstock, and I added some gorgeous lace, ribbon and flowers to finish.I was out and about in the heat today, but did manage to make 6 cards from the new kaisercraft Violet crush before I went out. That paper is lovely, and I can’t wait to get back to it but tomorrow I will be planning out my march lessons.Til tomorrow….
graphic 45 Couture collection 1,2, and 3…
I thought I would ease into this collection with a few simple designs to start. This is a huge group – I was quite prolific with this collection of paper so we might have to break it into 2 or 3 groups, with a little break in between just so boredom doesn’t set in! For these first three, IBecause i had bou used black cardstock for the card bases, and a sheet of 12 x 12 paper for the main images, the background paper is from the matching 6″ pad.from there I just added assorted flowers, lace, ribbon and bling.Because I had bought 3 sheets of the images I used 2 sheets and 3’d the images by fussy cutting some of the elements such as the hat on the lady on the left etc and mounted with sticky foam pads. For now it’s back to the craft room…til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Paradiso bon voyage 7 and 8
As promised, here are the last 2 cards in my Kaisercraft Paradiso collection. These ones are bon Voyage cards, and I used the 6″ pad for the background papers, and the collectables and a little twine to decorate.Tomorrow I think we will move on to my new graphic 45 papers, just for a change. The end of the working week and it’s going to be a hot weekend here, so I may get a little crafting done – I have some lovely new papers from the upcoming Kaisercraft releases so I will sit and plan out a few lessons and I really want to cut into Kaisercraft Velvet Crush this weekend – that paper is gorgeous – all purples and lilacs – a lovely change from everything xmassy!
