Todays kaisercraft sail away card uses a sheet of paper from the 6″ pad, and I stamped a sea gull stamp ( kaszazz brand) up near the top left hand corner. The sailing ship was already on the paper. The shell in the right hand corner is by prima.I have enjoyed rummaging through all my bits and pieces to find treasures to use on these cards – I didn’t buy the matching collectables for this range – not through choice – they weren’t in the shop when I purchased it! Today I have spent some time in the craft room making all my christmas gift tags, I am just waiting for the delivery of one more gift and shopping is all done, and then the wrapping begins! I am normally not this organised, so there is something to be said for my poor knee! Til tomorrow…..

Embedded embossing….
I have stopped the wedding cards just for today, because Nathan has uploaded a new youtube video for me , so I thought I would show this card explaining what my video is all about. I fussy cut a few images out of some patterned paper ( it’s kaisercraft sail away) , stuck them randomly on some plain white cardstock and then ran the card through an embossing folder. When it has been run through the big shot/cuttlebug etc… it looks like the paper is printed onto the card – you can’t see any raised bits..(hope that makes sense). After some experimenting I found that embossing folders that are pretty well covered in design work best.back to wedding cards tomorrow! til tomorrow….
Golfing Tom.
A male card today, The stamp is called Golfing Tom and it is from C.C.Designs. I stamped onto copic blending card and coloured with my copic markers, then mounted on two shades of card from Stampin up. this one was a nice quick card, and the stamp is big enough to stamp onto patterned paper and fussy cut if you don’t want to colour..something I will try next time I have it out on the craft table! For now though, it’s off to work I go..til tomorrow…
Deep Red train stamp
Deep Red Train stamp, this time I heat embossed it with copper powder, and fussy cut around the image. For the card I used stampin up cardstock, and layered Prima Craftsman patterned paper, and used some wide mesh trim, before mounting the train on top with 3d foam pads. The sentiment is stampin up Itty Bitty banner stamps. Today has been a great day – relaxing in the craft room, and now ready to face the working week tomorrow.. til tomorrow….
Stampin Up male card number 2
motorbike card
Still on the male card theme, tonight I have used a stamp that I bought from Stampin Up along with some Stampin Up designer paper. The style is the same for both cards, I just mixed it up with the papers ans did a lot of matting! Stamps like these are very handy for those hard to do mens cards!Tonight I have moved my crafting to the dining room table – more room! and I have taken the heater with me so I am all set for a marathon crafting session. Til tomorrow….
Mens card today!
A few technical difficulties, but I got here in the end! Todays card is a male card, with a bit of stamping, and embossing. The stamp set is from Stampin Up, Countryside, and the embossing folder is a sizzix tim holt – bricked wall. The sentiment is also from Stampin Up, and I added a button and some linen thread for a little added texture. The stamped images were stamped with stampin up soft suede ink. A short weekend for me this weekend, a couple of classes , a back to work a day early, but the bonus is a nice long weekend next weekend! Til tomorrow…..
Two cards tonight!
Due to all the posts i have missed because of the loss of our internet over the last few weeks, I have a back log of cards to show, so for the next week or so I will post a couple each night to try and catch up, so tonight we have two cards i made using Kaisercraft Sears and son paper and matching collectables. Both these cards have the same theme -of using the collectables to make a rosette, and I think it works quite well. I inked around all my edges with tea dye distress ink. I have made a few more christmas cards today, but I have to stop making for now and put in all the inserts – a bit boring, and a job that I seem to leave until I can’t ignore the pile any longer! Til tomorrow…
Kaisercraft Sears and son male cards
We will keep going with the ideas for male cards, this time using Kaisercraft Sears and son paper collection. This was one they released last year, but I haven’t found anything since that comes close to making good cards for men. This one uses a piece of the 12 x 12 paper, scraps of other matching papers, and one of the collectables out of the matching pack. I went to town on the distressing, and then inked around everything with Tea dye ink. It’s been a great day in the craft room today, I did a couple of cards for orders, just a couple more to do, and I did a couple of cards for various challenges, as well as digging out my graphic 45 french country papers and playing with that – that is still out on my table, so I am heading back there now to continue while the ideas are flowing! Til tomomorrow….
Male card – Parkers patterns
Here is a card I made for my brother-in laws birthday. Everything here is from stampin up – the cardstock is Not quite Navy, and the paper is from the Parkers patterns collection. the sentiment is from the itty Bitty banners stamp set, and the flags in the left hand corner are stamped and die cut using Hearts a flutter dies and stamps.Another set of papers I haven’t had enough time to play with – lucky I have some holidays scheduled in a couple of weeks and will hopefully get to it all then!
