Last month kaisercraft released a range called Lilac Whisper, the colours in this range are beautiful and subtle, so i had a very quick play with it when it came home, sadly I haven’t got back to it yet so only have a couple of cards to show so far. Todays one uses a sheet of the 6″ pad as the background layer, and I have used a sentiment from a terrific piece of the 12 x 12 from the same range which has so many sentiments on it. A lot of collectables grouped together, and a Kaisercraft ornate die cut from some more of the 6″ pad.I am home for the day now after working this morning, and it is so cold here, although I love the thought of doing some crafting I have a feeling the afternoon will be spent with a good book in front of the heater! Kaisercraft Golden Grove..

Continuing on with the Autumn themed challenge, this months kaisercraft release fitted in perfectly, and here are 2 cards I made with that range. I embossed a piece of cardstock with a stampin up embossing folder for the top card, and added a few of the collectables from the range, and sprinkled sequins. For the lower card I fussy cut lots of pears ( my husband loves pears and this will be his birthday card) did some paper layering and again sprinkled a few sequins. I am on track with all the lessons I need to come up with, just have a couple more to do for the cruise, and one to thinbk about for the village ladies, so I might have a break today from the craft room, and catch up on some reading this afternoon..it’s been a lovely morning while I was working but it has become overcast now and think some rain is on it’s way..all good for the garden…til tomorrow…
Autumn colours
Last month at my craft and chat group the challenge was autumn colours, and this was one of my cards for that challenge. I used Kaisercraft Sage and Grace papers for the background, and a memory box die for the leaves, and Stampin Up Botanical Blooms dies for the flowers. The centres of the flowers are liquid pearls. I had a great day in the craft room yesterday and have designed half the lessons I need for the cruise classes. My son flies back to Sydney later today, it’s been lovely spending the week with him, and we had a great night last night joining a Ghost Tour of our old Adelaide Gaol with my 2 sisters, and nephew as well. I found the history and stories interesting, but no ghostly visits, although my 2 sisters would beg to differ with a very cold breath being blown in their faces and my sisters coat button dropping off and causing great consternation in the group! A fun way to pass a couple of hours and learn more about our city at the same time.Today I will spend just a little time in the craft room while inspiration is high and continue the cruise cards as the drafts have be submiited in a week or so. til tomorrow…..
Bo Bunny Serendipity..
I have only made the one card with this paper collection so far, as I have been distracted with new toys. It is a gorgeous paper range with lots of birds and lovely colours, but this card uses one of the card fronts with the butterfly. There were two images of the butterfly so I fussy cut the second one and popped it on top of the first. I had very good news this morning..I am teaching card making on a cruise to Tasmania in February. I taught on this cruise this year and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so I was thrilled when the cruise company asked if I would be interested again this season. Over the next few weeks I will be organising my classes for that. My sister will come along to lend a helping hand and will be a big help getting everything ready.Meantime, I have a few projects on the go in the craft room, so will clear those this weekend if I get the chance! Til tomorrow….
no card today, just my Go Press and Foil!
I just had to show you all what i have been playing with today! I thought I had better learn how to use my new Go Press and Foil,so after foiling the stamps/dies that i bought when i bopught the machine, I had some scraps of foil left on the table. What to foil? Chipboard pieces that I had collected over the years! I have lots! So they are out on the table, and when ever I have finished foiling I will be using the scraps to decorate them, and now I might actually use them. It is almost more fun foiling the chipboard! Anyway that is what i am up to this afternoon, til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft High Tea number 8….
We are coming to the end of my kaisercraft high tea series..one more after this one. Todays card uses the 6″ pad for the background layer, and a strip of 12 x 12 paper across the bottom, which is decorated with scraps of ribbon, lace and Green Tara flowers. The main focus is on a resin frame which I backed with a tag from the 6″ pad, and decorated with a die cut butterfly and flower. I worked all day at the shop yesterday, so I still haven’t had a chance to play with my new Go Cut and Press machine, I may find a window of opportunity today, we shall see how I feel after I have done my jobs around here! Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft high Tea 6…
Kaisercraft high Tea collection, ( a piece of the 12 x 12 paper as a background, A strip from the 12 x 12 sticker sheet down the middle, and a push out circle from the 6″ pad behind the resin frame). I Die cut and ornate circle ( Paper Rose) and a circle from patterned paper, and added a gorgeous soft pink ribbon bow. I am working tonight,so I have spent this morning sorting through my embossing folders, removing them from their packaging for easier storage…the aim is to make a little room in the craft room because on Wednesday I buy my Go Press Foiling machine and I need some room for it. I cannot wait to get it..everything within sight including all that chipboard I have and don’ Til tomorrow….t know what to do with is going to be foiled!
Kaisercraft High tea 5..

Kaisercraft high Tea..this time the 6″ pad, and another of those gorgeous resin frames which I backed with a scrap of patterned paper and added a punched butterfly to. Lots of ribbon and lace, and some liquid pearls for texture. The sentiment was in the 6″ pad. Yesterday was a productive day in the craft room, I finished off a couple of projects, came up with a couple of designs for the cruise cards, and did a couple of cards for a challenge which I needed for todays crafty meeting with friends. The challenge was Autumn so I am interested to see what everyone else has come up with. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft High Tea 4..
continuing on with Kaisercraft High Tea,combined with a paper Rose die. The die is a corner die, but i angled it a little differently on the card to half frame the image I fussy cut from a piece of the 12 x 12 paper.Another piece cut from some 12 x 12 paper from the collection was used as the bottom layer. The sentiment is a kaisercraft die, and I embellished with pearls, a ribbon bow, and a punched butterfly. I have had a busy week, lots of lovely new things coming into the shop, and today is going to be dedicated to creating in the craft room!Til tomorrow…
Kaisercraft High Tea number 3….
Kaisercraft high Tea Collection, and for this card I have used some of the 12 x 12 papers. The tea cup is die cut from a spellbinders die, and the strip across the tea cup came from the matching sticker sheet. The sentiment is from the 6″ pad, and I added some lace, ribbon and a bow. The pink bracket layer is actually traced from a piece shaped like that in the 6″ pad. I finished work early today, so I am debating whether to do some Christmas die cutting… I have lots of other paper collections I haven’t used yet, but my mind keeps drifting to Christmas , it would be nice to have a bit of a head start… Til tomorrow….
